Background / History
Tang San was raised by Tang Hao and entered Notting City’s junior soul master academy with Innate Full Soul Power and Twin Martial Souls. He regarded low-level Soul Masters such as Han Tao as beneath him and placed immense confidence in Yu Xiaogang’s theoretical guidance 3.
Tang Hao eventually concluded that Tang San was not his biological son after observing behavior he considered impossible to explain as mere early maturity. He investigated whether inherited memories from the Blue Silver Emperor bloodline could account for it, but the Blue Silver King denied such memories 115.
Tang San became fiercely devoted to Yu Xiaogang, repeatedly defending him even when Tang Hao condemned the Master’s theories. He credited Yu Xiaogang’s guidance for allowing him to become a Soul Elder without a bottleneck and maintained that “a teacher for a day is a father for life” 116 191 230.
His cultivation was repeatedly altered by bloodline experiments and martial-soul reconstruction. Tang Hao’s Clear Sky Hammer bloodline initially raised Tang San to Level 39, but had also overtaken his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline; Tang San later accepted the Blue Silver King’s soul-ring stripping procedure to restore his damaged Blue Silver Grass 179 191.
After Tang Hao’s death and Yu Xiaogang’s capture, Tang San pursued revenge against Han Tao and Ye Lingling. He sought Tang Chen, tempered his Clear Sky Hammer bloodline with Yu Luomian’s lightning, and entered Slaughter City, where his Clear Sky Hammer began absorbing killing intent and killing aura 381 383 384.
Personality
Tang San is intensely proud of his inherited techniques, hidden weapons, and Mysterious Heaven Skill. When confronted with the possibility that other methods could surpass his own pharmacology, toxicology, cultivation technique, or Purple Demon Eyes, he rejects the conclusion and reaffirms that the Mysterious Heaven Skill is supreme 283.
He is unwaveringly loyal to Yu Xiaogang, often treating his master’s safety and reputation as more important than his own resources or safety. He spends Innate Soul Power to repair Yu Xiaogang’s meridians, rescues him from imprisonment, and vows to carry Yu Xiaogang’s theories to fame 230 431 443.
Tang San can also be ruthless and calculating. He is willing to kill perceived enemies with hidden weapons, considers crippling Han Tao’s meridians to force political action, and plans to use Spirit Hall as a means to locate Tang Chen 115 261 381.
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls
Tang San possesses Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer, though their bloodlines and developmental paths repeatedly conflict.
