Background / History

Han Tao awakens as a six-year-old orphan in Holy Soul Village. He adapts quickly to the Douluo Continent, learns its language and customs, and approaches his circumstances with unusual caution. His Blue Silver Grass martial soul and Level 1 innate spirit power mark him as a low-potential Soul Master, but he resolves to improve through cultivation, physical training, and study rather than accept that judgment 1.

He enrolls at Notting City Junior Soul Master Academy with Old Jack’s help. There, he avoids conflict with Tang San, Xiao Wu, and their circle while outwardly appearing weak and easily intimidated. He submits to Xiao Chenyu’s “boss” status, later using their relationship to borrow tuition money; his apparent timidity often serves to make others underestimate him 2 3.

After reaching Level 10, Han Tao secures a soul ring and graduates early from the academy. He travels to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, where Ning Fengzhi initially rejects him as a test.
