Background / History

Tang Hao lived in Holy Soul Village with Tang San, personally teaching him an embryonic form of the Chaotic Cloak Hammer Technique. His instruction covers the full force-transmission sequence, using each rebound to strengthen the next strike for up to eighty-one consecutive swings. 4

During the National Elite Soul Master Competition, Tang Hao interrupts Tang San's attempted ambush of a referee and brings him aside. He reveals his presence as a Titled Douluo, later displaying nine Soul Rings—including a red Hundred Thousand Year ring—and confronts Yu Xiaogang over Tang San's Blue Silver Grass cultivation. 115 116

After Tang San is attacked by Dugu Bo, Tang Hao intervenes with the Clear Sky Hammer and confronts Poison Douluo directly. He subsequently clashes with Yu Yuanzhen, using Ring Detonation, the Divine Slaughter Domain, and the Great Sumeru Hammer to overpower the rank 95 Titled Douluo. 166 178

Tang Hao later rescues Tang San from the Man-Faced Demon Spider King's possession by using Soul Power Suppression to weaken the creature's control over the Eight Spider Lances. During the Heaven Dou crisis, Tang Hao attacks the imperial palace, exposes Xue Qinghe's Six-Winged Angel martial soul, and coordinates with Tang San to ambush Xue Qinghe using Hidden Weapons.
