"How rude! I am Kukulu, prince of the Ancient Spirit Fairy Clan of the Flower Fairy Kingdom."
"The Flower Fairy Kingdom? A prince? Aren't you just a little squirt?" An'an looked utterly flustered.
"Who are you calling a little squirt?!"
Just then, An'an's necklace glowed pink. Kukulu froze for a moment, then roared, "It was you! Give me back the Flower Fairy Spirit King! Stop playing dumb!"
An'an shielded her eyes with her hand. "Ah! What are you even talking about?"
"Surrender, Earthling! You think denying it will keep you from my all-seeing eyes?" Kukulu shouted, pointing his Magic Wand at An'an's necklace.
Am I dreaming again? Xia An'an, wake up!
"As heir to the Ancient Spirit Fairy Clan, I command you in the name of Kukulu, Flower Fairy Magic Envoy! Camellia! Come out now!"
A magic circle appeared on the bedroom floor. Camellia emerged from it, spread her red wings, and slowly opened her eyes.
Trembling, An'an pointed at Camellia. "Y-you... you're the one from my dream last night..."
"Camellia, how could you do this? You're the Elf King who activates the Flower Code, yet you formed a contract with a human!"
Camellia paused, then covered her mouth and giggled. "Oh my goodness, how did the prince of the Ancient Spirit Fairy Clan turn into a meat bun?"
Kukulu was utterly devastated. A m-meat bun.
"What do you mean, meat bun?! I'm a prince! It's all this rotten otherworld called Earth's fault-"
Kukulu couldn't help sinking deep into his memories of when he had first arrived in the Human World and turned into a doll. His mood back then had been utterly miserable, as though all his life and energy had drained away, leaving him as listless as a flower wilted by the sun.
He lowered his head slightly and muttered in a barely audible voice, "They all lied to me! Boohoo... they promised that once I came here, I'd return to my original size, but now I'm stuck looking this tiny. And before that, I clearly sensed Jiujiu's presence! He even helped me, so why did he vanish without a trace in the blink of an eye?"
Neither An'an nor Camellia heard his muttering. Seeing Kukulu looking like a moldy mushroom, Camellia laughed even harder.
Kukulu didn't let himself wallow in sorrow for too long. Before long, he gradually shook off his sadness and pulled himself together. He raised a hand and gently wiped the lingering tears from the corners of his eyes, then took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.
Camellia, however, paid no attention at all to the change in Kukulu's mood. She kept laughing to herself, occasionally reaching out to poke him with a finger. At first, Kukulu held back his displeasure and anger, but as Camellia kept poking him over and over, he finally lost patience.
Kukulu's expression grew darker and darker. He clenched his teeth, reminding himself again and again to stay calm. But Camellia seemed to have no intention of stopping and continued giggling as she poked him. At last, Kukulu couldn't take it anymore. He sprang to his feet, his eyes wide, and roared at Camellia, "You ungrateful wretch! Don't forget, you're my spirit! Hurry up and cast a spell to turn me back to normal!"
Camellia retorted, "I'm not your spirit. I'm little Flower Fairy An'an's guardian spirit now."
"Blast it! So you really did form a contract with this stupid human. When we get back to the Flower Fairy Kingdom, I won't let you get away with this!"
Camellia narrowed her eyes slightly, the corners of her mouth lifting into a sly smile. Deliberately pretending to be terrified, she said in a sugary voice, "Oh dear, I'm so scared, my little meat bun!" Her exaggerated expression and cutesy tone made it hard not to laugh. As soon as she finished, Camellia mischievously pulled a huge face at him, sticking out her tongue and going, "Bleh, bleh, bleh," as though daring him to do something.
Kukulu's already fair face had turned slightly green with anger, as though shrouded in a thin green mist.
His eyes were so wide that they looked ready to pop out of their sockets, and fury blazed in his gaze.
