"Huh?"

"Mmph~"

Muffled cries from several bandits rang out amid the fierce fighting.

Naruto Uzumaki performed the best, followed by Sakura Haruno. Sasuke Uchiha actually came in last.

"Hmm, looks like he's focused too much on learning Genjutsu and let his Taijutsu slip."

Watching from above, Kakashi Hatake lowered his head in thought. From what he could see, Sasuke Uchiha had indeed been slacking in Taijutsu.

Naruto Uzumaki had Jiraiya giving him Special Training, and Sakura Haruno had Tsunade doing the same.

Sasuke Uchiha was a little worse off, with only Kakashi to teach him. That didn't mean his training was poor, though. They simply focused on different things, aiming to awaken his Sharingan.

He had probably spent more time practicing the Sharingan's observational abilities and such, leaving him a little weaker here.

"Hmm, should I ask Lord Jiraiya for advice?"

Kakashi Hatake hesitated. Was his teaching not good enough?

This was his first time taking on students. Ever since his comrades died, he had been steeped in grief, and the Sharingan's influence had only made him more despondent.

Naturally, learning how to teach students had been the last thing on his mind.

Right now, the student he taught was performing the worst.

"All right, watch the great me!"

Naruto Uzumaki was the most reckless, chasing a whole crowd of bandits all by himself.

"Naruto Lion Combo!"

The move normally required a Clone, but since he couldn't use Ninjutsu, he simply skipped that part and used Taijutsu alone.

He caught an attacking bandit's arm and squeezed, sending pain through the man's hand.

"Huh?"

The long sword fell straight from the bandit's hand.

Then came a smooth two-move combination. Naruto grabbed the man's arm and slammed him hard into the ground with a shoulder throw.

"Splat~"

The bandit struck the ground
