Background / History

Childhood in Spirit Hall

Qian Renxue is the younger twin born to Bibi Dong and Qian Xunji. Her older brother, Qian Renhan, is Huo Yuhao’s identity in the mission world. Qian Daoliu raises both children; their mother refuses to acknowledge them, while their grandfather prevents their father from meeting them. Renxue consequently depends heavily on her brother for affection and reassurance 3.

At six, she awakens the Six-Winged Angel under Qian Daoliu’s supervision. He subsequently appoints her Spirit Hall’s Saintess and takes the siblings to the Star Dou Great Forest for their first soul rings. Renxue promises to cultivate diligently so that she can protect her brother and grandfather 4 5 6.

Heaven Dou Infiltration

After becoming Pope, Bibi Dong chooses Renxue for the Heaven Dou infiltration plan. Renxue’s resemblance to her mother evokes Bibi Dong’s traumatic memories, making the mission a means of sending her away. Qian Renhan warns his sister against accepting their mother’s requests, but a rare maternal smile persuades Renxue to help her secretly 11.

During her brother’s absence, Renxue writes to him every month. Her letters lead him to believe that she has not been sent undercover. Later, Qian Daoliu reveals that she volunteered and has spent more than ten years in the Heaven Dou Empire 19 30.

As Xue Qinghe, she occupies the crown prince’s position. The public regards this identity as a capable, popular heir; Emperor Xue Ye values him highly, and Ning Fengzhi serves as his teacher. Snake Lance Douluo and Porcupinefish Douluo protect Renxue within the imperial palace 31.

In a later, separate mission world, Renxue again appears disguised as Heaven Dou’s crown prince. When Huo Yuhao’s enormous Soul Guidance Robot army besieges Clear Sky Summit, she immediately visits Emperor Xue Ye in response to the crisis 90.

Family Tragedy and Bloodline Awakening

Renxue rushes back from Heaven Dou when Spirit Hall’s Pope and Saint Son disappear. Qian Daoliu tells her that Bibi Dong killed Qian Renhan and that he killed Bibi Dong. The account leaves Renxue devastated, although the narration describes Bibi Dong escaping his Angel Domain with her fate unknown 22.

Her breakdown triggers the awakening of the Angel God’s purest bloodline. An Angel Mark appears on her forehead, and her soul power surges from level 40 to 70. She later continues the undercover mission; Qian Daoliu believes her prolonged absence reflects anger toward him 22 30.

Her Brother’s Final Sacrifice

After resurrecting, Qian Renhan finds Renxue asleep in the Heaven Dou palace. He keeps her unconscious and performs Angel Sacrifice, transferring his power and life to her. His final gift supplies the sacred angel origin needed to assist her Angel God Trial and spare Qian Daoliu from sacrificing himself 30 31.

The next morning, Renxue discovers her transformed cultivation, vitality, and martial soul. She forces her guards to explain what happened. Joy at learning her brother survived turns to grief when she hears the full truth, and she flies toward Spirit Hall with bloody tear tracks on her face 32.

Affection Across Parallel Worlds

During a subsequent mission, Huo Yuhao learns that the system carries affection from the preceding mission world into its parallel counterpart, halving its value. When he asks about Renxue, the system reports an affection score of −30, corresponding to −60 before that reduction. It explains that his sacrifice dealt her such a devastating emotional blow that her love turned into hatred 77.

This information is conveyed through the system rather than a direct reunion with Renxue. Huo Yuhao nevertheless remains unrepentant about his sacrifice, regarding it as something he willingly did for his younger sister before leaving 77.

Restoration in Zhu Zhuqing’s Dream

While exploring Zhu Zhuqing’s dream, Huo Yuhao visits the ruined Spirit Hall. Renxue and Snake Lance Douluo are the only people still holding their ground there. Three years have passed since the great battle, and Renxue has endured her grandfather’s death, her mother’s death, Spirit Hall’s destruction, and the loss of her cultivation. Although her physical injuries have healed, she can no longer cultivate 197.

Huo Yuhao initially treats her as a dream counterpart unrelated to him in reality, but cannot bear her suffering. While she sleeps, he uses his authority over the dream to restore her meridians and Six-Winged Angel martial soul. Her cultivation rises to level 99, then level 100, while the shattered Angel Godhood reforms in the Divine Realm, apparently stronger than before. Renxue disappears to inherit it again. Huo Yuhao also makes her Douluo Star’s Plane Master so that she can draw upon the planet’s power and be protected from another attack by Tang San 197.

On finding his former palace, Huo Yuhao realizes that the dream includes the mission world he once inhabited, rather than simply Zhu Zhuqing’s original history. Its outcome, however, differs from his completed mission: Qian Renhan died at Tang San’s hands, and Renxue later inherited the Angel Godhood only to be crippled by Tang San. The dream therefore presents an alternate outcome, not confirmation that the tragedy occurred after his successful first mission 198.

Renxue returns in less than two hours, having swiftly inherited the Angel Godhood again. Despite recovering her power, she feels directionless and has nowhere she considers home. She notices Huo Yuhao because he has given her half his authority, although she does not recognize the unfamiliar figure as her brother or know that he restored her. Feeling an inexplicable closeness to him, she speaks without suspicion, and the two share wine. Her admission that she has guarded the ruins and drunk there for three years deepens his sympathy and guilt, renewing his resolve to protect her in future mission worlds 198.

Huo Yuhao’s belief that Renxue may already have unified the continent and subsequently ascended in the successful first mission world remains speculation; those events are not directly shown 197.

As a child, Renxue is affectionate, clingy, and afraid of losing her brother. Her confidence grows alongside her desire to protect her family. She also shows compassion toward attractive soul beasts, prompting Qian Renhan to challenge her tendency to associate beauty with goodness 3 5 6.

Her longing for maternal affection can outweigh her brother’s warnings. She feels sympathy for Bibi Dong’s isolation and treats the proposed spy mission as manageable, imagining that she can still visit her brother when she misses him 11.

Renxue becomes forceful when others conceal matters concerning her family. After her unexplained enhancement, she invokes her authority as Saintess and threatens to abandon the infiltration mission unless her guards tell her the truth 32.

The system’s later account shows the severity of her attachment to her brother: rather than responding to his final gift with uncomplicated gratitude, she is so devastated by his sacrifice that her love becomes negative affection carried into another world 77.

Her dream-world counterpart is lonely and resigned after three years guarding Spirit Hall’s ruins. Restoring her godhood does not immediately restore her sense of purpose. She has relinquished her hatred for Tang San, reasoning that her brother had initiated the attempt to kill him and was killed in return. With Huo Yuhao, however, she is open and conversational, reassured both by an inexplicable fondness and by confidence in her recovered divine strength 198.
