Enemies Arrive

"From now on, call me Boss in front of others." Death Sovereign's voice echoed in Sean's mind again.

"Yes." After Sean came to Death Sovereign's side, he confirmed that the surrounding space had been distorted. Others could neither see nor hear them.

Death Sovereign looked up at Sean and smiled. "Sean, Nether Hotel is about to receive some guests. They have some connection to you."

"I do not understand what you mean, Sovereign?" Sean asked cautiously. At that moment, he understood how the ancients on Earth in his previous life had felt—serving a ruler was like living beside a tiger.

Death Sovereign smiled. "People from the Four Divine Beasts Family have come. They are looking for you."

"The Four Divine Beasts Family?" Sean immediately understood. News that he had become Death Sovereign's emissary had likely already spread through the various God Planes.

It was not strange for the Four Divine Beasts Family to know, but for them to still come looking for him near Nether Mountain even knowing he had become a Lord God Emissary—these people had truly been arrogant and tyrannical for far too long.

But thinking of the overwhelming hatred of the Eight Great Clans in the original story, it was only natural.

He asked, "Does the Sovereign want me to teach them a lesson?"

Death Sovereign said indifferently, "I would not interfere in matters between you and the Four Divine Beasts Family if they happened elsewhere.

"Rest assured, Sovereign. I will teach them a proper lesson." Sean readily agreed.

He also knew that Lord Gods generally would not personally slaughter God-level beings. After all, they had their own pride. But he soon thought of a problem and asked, "Lord God, there is one issue. I do not fear them, but if they flee, I have no way to pursue and kill all of them."

"I never told you to kill them all. Deal with however many you can." Death Sovereign spoke coldly.

"Then there is no problem." A trace of killing intent gradually emerged from Sean. Now that he possessed a Defense Sovereign Artifact, his weakness had essentially been covered.

Bu Weite, a Seven-Star Demon elder of the Azure Dragon Clan, said, "Mr. Tashan, as long as we spread word throughout the Netherworld that Sean has been trapped inside Nether Mountain by us, it will disgrace a Lord God Emissary. To preserve Death Sovereign's dignity, Sean will certainly come out."

Though Tashan was an elder of the Four Divine Beasts Family, he was the Lord God Emissary of Bu Weite's ancestor. His status was second only to the patriarchs of the Four Divine Beasts, so even family elders had to treat him with respect.

"You really are bold." Tashan looked at Bu Weite coldly and asked curiously, "Just how deep is your grudge against Sean that you dare take such a risk?"

Bu Weite said, "Rest assured, Mr. Tashan. Although we are at Nether Mountain, we have not offended the Lord God. The Lord God will not act against us.

According to the information I investigated, Sean is an extremely proud man. With us targeting him like this, he will definitely come out."

"He has already become a Lord God Emissary and obtained a Sovereign Artifact. He has no family of his own. Even the Four Divine Beasts Family would not wish to casually offend someone like that, would they?" Tashan asked again.
