Ch. 342Setting up an outpost in a Divine Kingdom

Kroya, Miya, and their allies entered the Father of Light’s Divine Kingdom to steal its sacred plants and authorities while the sleeping deity’s defenses were distracted. Kroya established an outpost that consumed and transferred parts of the kingdom, then left to join his friends exploring it.

  • Miya and Kroya agreed to raid Light’s Divine Kingdom with Ivy and their friends, and Kroya invited allies including Daphne and Achilles.
  • The group entered the brightly shining Divine Kingdom, split up to explore, and prepared to use Platinum Rings to escape danger.
  • Kroya ordered the Sun Demons and Mother Nest to dig up and devour the kingdom’s soil while workers gathered sacred plants for transport.
  • Miya transformed a cedar into her own magic plant and absorbed some of its authority of hope, while Kroya arranged for the Godslayer Particle Cannon to weaken the kingdom’s crystal wall.
  • Kroya expanded his outpost and transferred plants and parts of the Divine Kingdom to his plane, then set off to catch up with his friends.

Ch. 343The "heretics" within the Divine Kingdom

Kroya and Mifein met Saint Yani and Pope Saint Nisoria, who revealed that the Church of Light had strayed from Light’s teachings and asked for help reaching their lord. Kroya proposed killing the Supplicants manipulating Light, as more of his companions arrived in the holy spirits’ hidden village.

  • Kroya blessed Mifein, turning the fight against Yani, until Persephone appeared, pinned Yani down, and declared she wanted Mifein as her emissary.
  • Kroya and Mifein learned that Yani was a former Light Saint who opposed the Church’s corruption, and Yani led them through a well to a hidden village of holy spirits.
  • Pope Saint Nisoria asked Kroya and Mifein to help break into the Temple of Light so they could seek an audience with Light.
  • Kroya warned that Light had been taken hostage by faith and proposed killing the Supplicants influencing him.
  • Aistena, Achilles, and Oak arrived in the village alongside holy spirits, revealing that the outsiders had been brought there deliberately.

Ch. 344I Want the Light to Fall

Kroya recruited the holy spirits to attack the Father of Light’s Divine Kingdom while his forces and allies undermined the Church of Light on the Main Plane. As the Father of Light began his prophesied appearance, an aged voice interrupted to accuse him of being deceived.

  • The Sacred Dragon gave Kroya the coordinates of her three children, and Kroya agreed to care for them.
  • Kroya and the holy spirits agreed to fight the Divine Kingdom’s defenders, then sacrifice themselves to briefly awaken the Father of Light; Kroya also revealed his plan to make the Light fall.
  • The holy spirits led the Sun Demons and Insect Swarm against the kingdom’s defenders as the armies spread and transformed the Divine Kingdom.
  • Eurydice, Aioetes, and the Orpheus Family helped William’s army seize territory from the Church of Light and Earth Mother Goddess Church.
  • William’s army reached Campos as holy light covered the Human Kingdoms and the Father of Light began speaking.
  • An aged voice interrupted the Father of Light and declared that he must have been deceived.

Ch. 345You will swallow the bitter fruit

Kroya confronted the Father of Light after the deity ignored his Holy Spirits’ pleas, and used his Symphony to guide the hatred of the dead into the Divine Kingdom. He left the Father of Light forcibly swallowing the bitter fruit of his own actions.

  • The Father of Light ignored the Holy Spirits’ questions, and they entered his hall despite Aistena, Oak, and the others trying to stop them.
  • Kroya faced the Harp Angel, who played the world-ending Dusk Movement as Angels poured into the Main Plane.
  • Kroya reclaimed part of his Symphony’s power and sent its golden music across the lands, awakening the hatred of the dead and guiding their shadows toward the Divine Kingdom.
  • Miya lifted the forbidden spell that had kept the deities imprisoned in their own kingdoms, and Kroya’s Symphony broke through the sacred hall.
  • Kroya formed the hatred into a golden apple and forced the newly awakened Father of Light to swallow it.

Ch. 346Please pray to Eden!

Kroya used Eden to help the earth withstand the Father of Light’s spreading dusk, bringing the Earth Mother Goddess and the imprisoned primordial deity into the effort. As Eden began to draw the Main Plane’s power, Kroya asked every living being to pray to it.

  • The Father of Light resisted Kroya’s symphony and resentment while the Concerto of Greed’s orange serpent grew by consuming his power.
  • The Father of Light ordered the Harp Angel to continue playing the movement of dusk, spreading dusk beyond the Human Kingdoms and forcing other deities to spend their power resisting it.
  • Kroya sent Eden across the lands touched by his light, where its inhabitants performed the Tuning of Suppressed Reverie to call upon the earth.
  • The Earth Mother Goddess and the deity imprisoned beneath the earth answered the plea, sending their powers to protect the land alongside Eden.
  • Miya explained that the Earth Mother Goddess’s three aspects had become distinct deities through changing faith, and Kroya realized the Main Plane’s consciousness was trying to make Eden bear the pressure of dusk.
  • Kroya asked the world consciousness to make every living being pray to Eden so his Wonder Magic could evolve.

Ch. 347Welcoming dawn with destruction

Kroya used Eden and the Semrio Continent’s World Consciousness to record most of the continent’s magical beasts and plants, then turned the Father of Light and his Divine Kingdom into fuel to destroy dusk. With the Harp Angel’s help, Kroya performed the Finale of Dawn, and sunlight returned to the world as Light fell.

  • The Semrio Continent agreed to let Eden record the structures of its magical beasts and magic plants, transforming Eden and offering Kroya the divine seat of Paradise.
  • Kroya prepared to fulfill his prophecy that Light would fall, while the Ring of Radiance invoked Great Prophecy as a second affirmation.
  • Kroya played the Harp and unleashed the Finale of Praise, as the Sun Demons and Insect Swarm devoured Light’s Divine Kingdom.
  • The Father of Light stopped resisting and merged his power into Kroya’s destructive movement, which consumed dusk and became a dark-golden sun.
  • The Harp Angel gave Kroya the angel’s wings and explained the movements of dusk and dawn, while Kroya prepared to perform the Finale of Dawn.
  • Kroya’s Golden Arrow met the constellation’s Azure Arrow at the Starry Firmament, and the resulting light brought day back to the world.

Ch. 348A different kind of feast

After the World Consciousness accepted Eurydice’s offer and expelled the deities from their Divine Kingdoms, Kroya hosted a weeklong feast in Eden for his allies and the Northern Frontier’s people. William reunited with his pregnant wife, Lolisa, and their unborn children, then welcomed kings seeking his help with reconstruction projects.

  • Eurydice persuaded the World Consciousness to take the ancient Platinum Ring and remove the deities from their Divine Kingdoms.
  • Kroya held a weeklong feast in Eden, where William met him and received an invitation to bring his pregnant wife, Lolisa, to the Northern Frontier.
  • William found Lolisa distressed about her pregnancy and brought her through a Spatial Portal into Eden.
  • Lolisa’s belly flattened in Eden, and she saw the two spheres of light that were her children; a Life Angel delivered the Half-Orc God’s blessing.
  • Kings asked William when his troops could begin building their countries’ infrastructure, and he led them around the feast.

Ch. 349Making magic commonplace, the Eden terminal

Kroya created the Eden terminal, an Orbment that connected ordinary people to Eden and let them collect magical creatures and use their abilities. When student Befario tested one, it exposed the white cat Bena as a shapeshifting Druid rather than a magical beast.

  • Kroya modified an Orbment with Eden's light and named the resulting device the Eden terminal, intending to make magic accessible to ordinary people.
  • Kroya examined the Azure Chapter's Fated Azure Strings and Anchor of the Boundless Starry Sky, then decided to leave outside affairs to his subordinates while he absorbed his gains.
  • Moonpulse Octopuses at a factory in the Air Coral Bubble produced the new terminals, which a Pure White Sea Spirit Coconut delivered to Earth Academy.
  • Befario tested a terminal, summoned his contracted white bear, and discovered he could borrow his companions' abilities through the device.
  • Befario asked the white cat Bena to leave a paw print, and the terminal warned him that she was a shapeshifting Druid, not a magical beast.

Ch. 350Druids could be contracted too, and Starry Town's visiting delegation

Befario discovered that Eden Terminals could contract Druids in their transformed Magical Beast forms, and he recruited Bena and several seniors, sending them to rest in a Pet Den. Jamie then brought Befario to meet Starry Town’s visiting delegation, whose leader Irina was surprised by the thriving village.

  • Bena revealed herself as a Sacred Dragon princess, accepted Befario’s contract, and agreed to provide dragon scales and blood to Eden in exchange for staying in his care.
  • At a Yalo Kingdom construction site, Befario contracted Naisa Paladin and used the Eden Terminal to teleport him into a Pet Den.
  • Befario’s seniors learned about the terminal and entered the Pet Den, exhausting his Magic Crystals and leaving the construction site empty.
  • Jamie arrived and, after learning what had happened, took Befario to meet Starry Town’s visiting delegation and consider how the terminal could help ordinary people.
  • Irina arrived with four other mages and was impressed by the village’s orderly homes, green fields, and playing children.

Ch. 351"Precious" energy

Jamie showed Irina and her delegation around Moya Village, where she learned that Kroya’s sunflowers could turn sunlight into valuable energy. After trading knowledge about Astral Plane agriculture, Irina asked to inspect the subway, leaving Jamie curious about the Astral Plane’s non-magical transport.

  • Jamie introduced himself to Moya Village’s patrol, and Irina noticed that the ordinary patrolman had unusually strong vitality and affinity with nature.
  • Irina showed Jamie a sunlight-responsive algae, but the village sunflowers drained its energy; Jamie then demonstrated that they produced golden oil from sunlight.
  • Irina explained that sunlight was scarce and valuable in the Astral Plane, warned Jamie to keep the sunflower technology secret, and offered to trade solar ore for sunflower oil.
  • Irina gave Jamie diagrams for agricultural magic rune structures, and he sent them to Reef Island’s Mage Tower for analysis.
  • The village chief arrived and described the subway construction, so Irina asked to see the subway and Jamie agreed.

Ch. 352Miracle Meal Creation Spell

Jamie and Irina toured the Northern Frontier’s Thicksoil Potato subway, exchanged knowledge and gifts, and discussed leasing an Eden Terminal. Irina revealed the Astral Council’s Miracle Meal Creation Spell and proposed trading sunlight-made foods for resources from Kroya’s sunflowers, leaving Jamie to consider her offer.

  • Jamie showed Irina, Befario, and the village chief the Thicksoil Potato subway and explained how Magic Crystal White Mice made its interior transparent.
  • Irina demonstrated a Soil-Eating Worm transit system and gave Jamie a level-ten larva, whose preferred food was stir-fried soil.
  • Jamie explained the Eden Terminal’s restrictions after Irina asked to include it in their trade, and Irina offered tableware for the Meal Creation Spell.
  • Irina revealed that the spell used purified sunlight and air to make food, then gave Jamie a cookie made by the Astral Council to taste.
  • Irina proposed using Kroya’s sunflower oil to make special food and offered to give Kroya ninety percent of the resulting resources.

Ch. 353How to Build a Sky Castle (Happy New Year!)

Kroya agreed to trade sunflower oil for Irina’s solar ore and signed a contract with Dantalian for sky castle technology in exchange for sealing the Goddess of Wisdom. He then sent Befario and a group of Druids to retrieve Jason, before studying the sky castle plans and checking on the sunflower’s progress absorbing the God of Light’s authority.

  • Kroya agreed to trade sunflower oil for Irina’s solar ore, with the products bearing the Reef Island label, and signed Dantalian’s contract for sky castle technology in exchange for sealing the Goddess of Wisdom.
  • Irina handed Kroya roughly a ton of solar ore and part of the sky castle construction instructions, then left with Jamie.
  • Kroya told Befario that his White Cat was a Sacred Dragon and gave him a reward for discovering the Sacred Dragon entry in the bestiary.
  • Befario’s contracted beasts and Druids emerged from the Pet Den, and Kroya assigned them to accompany a trade caravan to the Centaur Territory and bring Jason back unharmed, giving them forbidden spell scrolls.
  • Kroya read the sky castle plans, then traveled to the Sunflower Divine Kingdom to ask how much of the God of Light’s authority the sunflower had absorbed.

Ch. 354Rain that suppressed the sun

Kroya discovered that the Sunflower Sprite could purify solar ore by comforting the spirituality within it, but his attempt to embrace the sorrow awakened by the process failed and unleashed a cold rain that suppressed his power. The rain spread across the Northern Frontier and beyond, while the merfolk of the Atlantis Sea were the first to notice the danger.

  • Kroya inspected the Sunflower Sprite’s incomplete Sun Replacement Technique and asked it to extract vitality from solar ore.
  • The Sunflower Sprite purified the ore by soothing its lonely solar energy, and Kroya sensed spirituality and prayer within it.
  • When Kroya told the Sunflower Sprite it would need to continue developing on its own, it panicked, wept, and stirred a sorrowful rain movement from the depleted ore.
  • Kroya failed to incorporate the rain’s sorrow into his symphony, and the rain began to eat away at his power.
  • An unending, chilling drizzle spread across the Northern Frontier and elsewhere, suppressing magic and divine arts as observers turned toward Reef Island.
  • The merfolk of the Atlantis Sea noticed the disturbance before anyone else.

Ch. 355Merfolk Song, the Ocean Movement

As the Lament’s gray curtain of rain spread across the ocean, Tredan sang the Merfolk Tribe’s ancestral song to hold it back and then entered the damaged movement to try to help Kroya. The Void God’s power shielded the merfolk Royal Court as Mihail and the queen consort accepted their son’s choice, leaving the princes and elders to pray for his safety.

  • King Mihail considered awakening the Sept-Terrion of Mirage as the Lament overwhelmed the ocean and the merfolk’s songs could no longer calm its creatures.
  • Tredan volunteered to sing “Surge of Gleaming Foam,” and his parents and the Legendary Rank Merfolk Princes agreed to support him.
  • Tredan’s song resonated with the ocean, and merfolk and sea creatures joined in to push back the gray curtain of rain.
  • Tredan sensed Kroya’s radiance within the damaged movement and sent his consciousness and azure foam inside, but the movement’s sorrow abruptly stopped his singing.
  • Spirit intelligence grass gathered around Tredan as the Void God cast two forbidden spells over the merfolk Royal Court.
  • The queen consort backed Tredan’s wish to help Kroya and see the Astral Plane, while Mihail silenced the worried princes and elders with his trident.

Ch. 356The team to "rescue" Kroya

Tredan led a growing group of Kroya’s allies through the sorrowful rain inside the symphony, gathering magical beasts and plants who helped repair the music. They reached Miya and Ivy, learned that Annisidora’s Lament had to run its course before hope could emerge, and advanced toward the vessel with Miya and an army of souls clearing the way.

  • Tredan joined forces with a Thicksoil Potato Elf, sea spirit dolphins, Fish-Tailed Sea Ducks, and a soothing lily as they searched for Kroya.
  • Tredan and the others entered a mobile castle carried by Astral Crystal Turtles, where the Crystal Turtle revealed that half a month had passed and Kroya remained unharmed.
  • The castle gathered many more magical beasts and plants, and their combined powers began repairing the golden bands of the symphony.
  • Tredan’s group reached Miya, Ivy, and the Gopherwood Elf, who explained that the vessel held Annisidora’s Lament and that its final movement might contain hope.
  • Miya restored a golden bridge and led the group forward as Ivy summoned Kroya’s companions and equipped them with divine gear.
  • An army of souls arrived, vowed to fight for Lord Kroya, and shielded Miya’s party from the rain as they advanced.

Ch. 357You will rise into the sky

Miya and Kroya’s allies fought the rain and its seraphs while Kroya sealed himself away and sent a sunflower to replace the sun. The sunflower refused the plane’s divine seat, returned the Father of Light’s power to the world, and fell back into Kroya’s arms, waking him.

  • Miya and the others battled the rain-born Six-Winged Angels as the creatures carried off dozens of heroic spirits.
  • Kroya embraced the black seraph, endured its sorrow, and used its wings to seal his eyes and cut off his connection to the sunflower.
  • Miya realized Kroya had sealed himself away as the rain vanished and golden-red sunflowers grew across the ground.
  • The tallest sunflower ascended and became the world’s sun, completing Kroya’s Sun Replacement Technique.
  • The sunflower refused the plane consciousness’s divine seat and used the Father of Light’s power to send sacred oil down as a sunshower that strengthened living beings.
  • The sunflower exhausted that power, became a meteor, smashed the black seraph, and returned to Kroya’s arms, rousing him from his drowsiness.

Ch. 358Harvests and the Pandora Golem

Kroya welcomed Sunflower Sun’s transformation and embraced Pandora, the restored golem who embodied a soothing movement of hope. After thanking those who rescued him and recovering from the Symphony’s sorrow, he asked Ivy how to contact people connected to Goddess Athena so he could prepare for the Astral Plane.

  • Kroya praised Sunflower Sun for rejecting the Sun’s Divine Seat and recognized its unique powers and unfinished path to eternity.
  • Kroya embraced the black Seraph, whose darkness faded to reveal Pandora, a clay golem created from her shattered elder sister and bearing a movement that could soothe and lull others to sleep.
  • Kroya promised Pandora a peaceful home in his domain, and Sunflower Sun led her away as the Symphony’s sorrow and pain eased.
  • Kroya thanked the Heroic Spirits, magical beasts, and magic plants who had helped rescue him, then reunited with Miya and Ivy and explained that he felt lighter after the Symphony’s burdens were relieved.
  • Kroya asked Ivy whether people connected to Goddess Athena remained alive and could be found in the Astral Plane; after she confirmed it, he requested a way to contact them and planned to send a squad ahead to prepare.

Ch. 359A Friendship Imprint Too Painful to Bear

Kroya and his companions followed a magical signal to Sean’s farm, where Robert had gone to die after refusing attempts to prolong his life. Pandora honored Robert’s wish by erasing his likeness from their friendship imprint and gave it to Sean, who lost his memories of Robert but kept the warm crystal.

  • Ivy gave Kroya runes to identify Cassandra, an Athena priestess, and Kroya discovered that the Magic Field Grape Vine’s signal came from Sean’s Flame-Tailed Dog Farm.
  • Sean searched for Robert after the rain curtain ended and followed a golden-red magical fluctuation to a hidden ravine beneath the Magic Field Grape Vine.
  • Sunflower stopped Sean from approaching Robert and explained that Robert had refused the gifts and care offered to him.
  • Pandora stayed with the dying Robert, who had prayed to her despite fearing the rain curtain, and listened as he gave his final woof toward Sean.
  • Pandora removed Robert’s likeness from the completed friendship imprint, promised to make him her only blessed follower, and gave the imprint to Sean.
  • Sean lost his memories of Robert as Pandora told him that Robert’s child would stay by his side, while Kroya, Miya, and Ivy watched.

Ch. 360Let's take a spur-of-the-moment trip

Kroya supported the magic crystal grape vine’s wish to become a death magic plant and escorted it into the Underworld. After an undead horde and its lord attacked him, he swiftly defeated them and had an orange snake devour the lord’s accumulated resentment.

  • Pandora explained that Robert’s wish had preserved the friendship inscription, and Kroya asked the Tower Spirit to ensure Robert was not bullied in the Underworld.
  • The magic crystal grape vine revealed through Ivy that it wanted to become a death magic plant and shelter the magical beasts buried beneath it.
  • Kroya blessed the grape vine, inscribed a death spell on one of its leaves, and opened an obsidian gateway to the Underworld.
  • Kroya entered the Underworld without suppressing his light, drawing a horde of undead toward him, and summoned Sunflower Sun to destroy half of them.
  • Kroya’s enchanted weapons overwhelmed an undead lord, and he sent an orange snake to consume the resentment lodged in its bones.

Ch. 361The Undying Spring and the Undead Race

Kroya brought the Skeleton King to the Undying Spring and transformed the magic field grape vine so it could survive in the Underworld. As the vine spread through the cave, a greedy level-twelve Death Knight rushed toward them, and the Skeleton King saw something astonishing.

  • Kroya modified the Skeleton King into a giant flying mount and questioned Sunflower Sun about the Underworld’s negative energy and the Undead Race.
  • The Skeleton King led Kroya to the Undying Spring, where Kroya found hidden defenses and learned Theodore had previously beaten the Skeleton King.
  • Kroya’s Burrowing Mice built a laboratory around the spring, and he planted the magic field grape vine in its water to transform it into an undead plant.
  • The grape vine endured the painful transformation and rapidly spread through the cave and surrounding area.
  • A level-twelve Death Knight approached with greedy intent, and the Skeleton King gaped at a breathtaking sight.
