• Dr. Tester showed Li Wei a compact generator that could power an Airship, and Li Wei arranged for the Jet Engine team to test another unit.
• Li Wei discovered that worms controlled nobles attending a secret gathering, captured the conspirators, and traced the infestation to a grotesque tree in the Rare Plants Garden.
• Li Wei followed the tree’s supply trail to the East Linden Trading Company and found that its canned food shipment was aboard the White Cloud Peak, bound for Delai Port.
• The White Cloud Peak exploded at Delai Port, spreading snowlike creatures that infected soldiers, and Li Wei led the defense while survivors regrouped in the harbor fortress.
• Li Wei lured Kront’s troops into the infested tunnels and then commanded Imperial forces against its assault, destroying the Giant Legion and forcing Kront to retreat.
• Li Wei infiltrated Kront’s retreat and overheard evidence of the Rothfield Family’s involvement, while the Rothfield Bank’s Brando was killed and the building was bombed.
• The Queen revealed the Rothfield betrayal, nationalized its assets, arrested its relatives, and introduced sweeping reforms as the Empire faced unrest.
• Li Wei learned that Dr. Tester’s new power system had passed tests aboard the Cyclops, then gave Erin mecha blueprints and said he had another power source in mind.

Li Wei uncovered a plague cult beneath Delicate’s lake and destroyed the Plague Child, then investigated a haunting that led him to expose and destroy a demon at a remote Monastery. After reporting the case, he learned of political changes and agreed to meet agents who had recruited fantasy species.

• Li Wei investigated the Lake of the Dead after Little Mermaid found a submerged tomb, then learned that a cult had once demanded child sacrifices there and that Curly Head was secretly broadcasting the word “Samus.”
• Li Wei had Ovelia arrest Curly Head and worked with her to drain, burn, and refill the lake before opening the tomb with Katie and Little Mermaid’s water barrier.
• Li Wei and Katie fought the Plague Child and its corrupted knight guards underground, then Li Wei destroyed the monster with an oxygen-cylinder explosion and Reality Anchoring.
• Li Wei returned to Fog City and investigated the deaths of three men linked to a haunting at the Monastery, bringing Katie and Sister Elizabeth to the fog-bound town of Miropes.
• Li Wei, Katie, and Elizabeth uncovered suspicious murals and an imprisoned priest’s account of a demon that used churches to enslave villagers’ souls, then fought the undead and called in artillery to clear the town.
• Li Wei scouted the Monastery and found Susie possessed in a secret chamber, then planted explosives that destroyed the Monastery and exposed the demon.
• Elizabeth forced the demon to confess how it had manipulated Susie and her companions, and Li Wei destroyed it with Reality Anchoring before ordering the site burned.

Li Wei investigated a series of supernatural cases, then followed the mystery of Baron Hanklis into a parallel world where the Kingdom of Kront was at war with the Empire. After rescuing biologist Annie, he pursued the origins of the Beastmen to a sealed research institute, where a tentacle attacked the group.

• Li Wei assembled investigators to probe supernatural incidents around Fog City and led an assault on a monastery, where his team found cursed Holy Knights and gems linked to an Imperial edict.
• Li Wei investigated Baron Hanklis’s reports of an invisible masked corpse, then learned that the apparently dead Hanklis came from a parallel world.
• Li Wei took the corpse back to Glida, where Reality Anchoring released the masked man’s body from a distortion, and found Fog City under attack by Kront’s Beastmen.
• Li Wei met King George V and General Haig, agreed to help the Empire, and learned Kront was hunting biologist Annie Delint Darwin.
• Li Wei found Annie in her safe house, rescued her with Katie, and brought her aboard the Eye of the Sky.
• Annie identified Ogles Fleming as the researcher behind the Beastmen and traced the original research to the Mount Furolance Research Institute.
• Li Wei, Annie, and Katie entered the sealed institute, explored its mine, and encountered a tentacle lunging at Annie.

Li Wei investigated the creature threatening Munich, then helped Annie establish her authority at the institute and traveled to Francis after its surrender. There, he met the amnesiac Joan Dark and began searching Mount Aiden for the Saintess’s Castle, finding a hidden passage and strange armor that suggested the saintess had commanded an undying army.

• Li Wei found evidence that Sample Number One could control the Beast Generals and decided to investigate its connection to Munich, where the Goddess of Night urged him to destroy the Outer Fiend.
• Li Wei entered a parallel world’s Fairy Spirit Palace, confronted the True God and escaped back to his world before warning the Queen that the creature might still be alive.
• Li Wei brought Annie to the Empire, where she introduced advanced medical knowledge, and later backed her as she took control of the institute and dismissed Professor Franklin’s team.
• Li Wei traveled to Francis, assassinated General Von Kaleman and the acting president, and rescued Joan Dark after her companions betrayed her.
• Li Wei and Joan investigated her past and learned that the legendary holy maiden might have been an alchemist who discovered immortality and built a hidden castle on Mount Aiden.
• Li Wei and Joan found the castle’s concealed entrance, then wiped out a nearby Cront camp before descending into the passage beneath a lily-and-phoenix-carved stone slab.
• Li Wei identified the remains of several kinds of monsters in the passage and found silver-white armor with strange strips inside, leading him to wonder whether the saintess had controlled an undying army.
