Ch. 101Western Extremity Moon Sea

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang joined the Suyuan Sect after leaving their captors, while Regional Lords argued over their fate and the Sky-Gazing Mirror. Guan Wen assigned the pair to a force heading toward the Western Extremity Moon Sea, where they prepared to watch for rivals emerging from the dangerous region.

  • Wei Mo baited the Regional Lords into betting that Chi Rang would lose, and they reluctantly agreed.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang left their captors and mingled with Mystic Continent's forces, prompting speculation that they had become spies.
  • The presiding official returned control of the Sky-Gazing Mirror to the sects after complaints that one image had monopolized it.
  • Chu Jingtang welcomed Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang to Wandering Rosy Clouds Mountain, and Mulan Qingqing assigned them to Guan Wen's team.
  • Guan Wen led a force of over a thousand toward the Western Extremity Moon Sea to watch for sects leaving the dangerous area and intercept them.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang reached the mist-shrouded edge of the Moon Sea near sunset.

Ch. 102Blue Meteor Shower

Guan Wen tried to send Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang into the Moon Sea to retrieve several hundred Insect Core Crystals, but Shi Chun turned the demand back on the Mystic Continent sects. He insisted that each sect leader accompany them, leaving Guan Wen and the others to decide whether they would accept the risk themselves.

  • Guan Wen divided the assembly into eleven groups and arranged for them to observe the Moon Sea while his group stayed nearby as support.
  • A shower of several hundred blue meteors fell into the Moon Sea, apparently landing within a short distance of the assembly.
  • Guan Wen urged the group to retrieve the crystals and pressured Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang, the newcomers from Wandering Rosy Clouds Mountain, to go in first.
  • Shi Chun asked the assembled leaders to confirm that the crystals had to be retrieved and that they would not withdraw their promise of support.
  • Shi Chun argued that the mission needed more people to search, supervise them, and guard against outsiders stealing the crystals.
  • Shi Chun demanded that every sect's leader accompany him into the Moon Sea, challenging them to share the danger instead of sending their subordinates.

Ch. 103A cry for help

Shi Chun led eleven sect leaders into the Moon Sea and staged a cry for help to test whether Guan Wen would send their fellow disciples to rescue them. The others came to their aid, while Guan Wen was left alone and reached for the Metal Pinecone; Shi Chun then spotted him approaching.

  • Shi Chun persuaded Guan Wen to send the sect leaders into the Moon Sea with him and Wu Jinliang while the others waited nearby.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang descended into the basin ahead of the eleven leaders, then gathered the group and warned them to consider whether Guan Wen would help if they called for rescue.
  • At Shi Chun's instruction, Wu Jinliang shouted for help, and the cries reached Guan Wen's group at the cliff's edge.
  • The disciples hurried into the basin to rescue the sect leaders, leaving Guan Wen alone; after hesitating, he took the Metal Pinecone from his pouch.
  • Shi Chun mocked Guan Wen for failing to come sooner, then noticed him approaching and welcomed the chance to confront him.

Ch. 104I Think

Shi Chun and the team leaders tricked Guan Wen into joining their search for the insect core crystals in the dangerous Moon Sea. Guan Wen agreed to stay and help, though he privately vowed to settle matters with Shi Chun later.

  • Shi Chun denied that anyone had called for help and convinced the team leaders to claim they had heard nothing, blaming the cries on the Moon Sea’s strange effects.
  • Guan Wen accepted that the Moon Sea might cause auditory hallucinations and warned Shi Chun to hide his light.
  • Shi Chun argued that the group should search quickly together and use Guan Wen’s Magical Treasure Wind Scales for protection.
  • The team leaders and sect members backed Shi Chun, pressuring Guan Wen to stay instead of returning to oversee the arrangements outside.
  • Guan Wen agreed to join the search while privately resolving to settle his debt with Shi Chun later.

Ch. 105Striking it rich

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang lured Guan Wen into accepting a bag of fake Insect Core Crystals, then killed him and hid his body. They stole his possessions and prepared to return with his Magical Treasure Wind Scales.

  • Guan Wen agreed to wait on a hilltop while the sect groups searched for Insect Core Crystals.
  • Shi Chun used his right-eye ability to scan for danger, then joined Wu Jinliang in secretly filling a black bag with stones disguised as Insect Core Crystals.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang returned to Guan Wen and tricked him into opening the bag of fake crystals.
  • Shi Chun stabbed Guan Wen in the back as Wu Jinliang broke his neck and struck his chest.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang removed Guan Wen's bracelet and cut off his hand before hiding his body in a ravine.
  • Wu Jinliang discarded Guan Wen's tracking items but kept Wind Scales, and Shi Chun urged him to return.

Ch. 106I'll Shoulder It All

After Guan Wen disappeared in Moon Sea Forest, the sect leaders returned to shore and realized he had not come back or answered his talisman. Shi Chun said he would take responsibility for leading Guan Wen into danger, but warned the others that he would give the Suyuan Sect an accurate account of what happened.

  • A Suyuan Sect elder discovered that Guan Wen’s Life Lamp had gone out and sent a disciple to seek news at the Royal Capital assembly.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang found eight insect core crystals, then returned to the rendezvous and learned that Guan Wen was missing.
  • The sect leaders left a message for Guan Wen and returned to shore, where their Mother-Child Talismans failed to reach him.
  • The group concluded that Guan Wen was still in Moon Sea Forest and feared that something had happened to him.
  • Shi Chun suggested searching for Guan Wen and reminded the sect leaders that they had sent him into Moon Sea Forest.
  • When the others blamed Shi Chun for tricking Guan Wen, Shi Chun accepted responsibility and promised to tell the Suyuan Sect the full truth.

Ch. 107Anomalous Mirror Image

The sect leaders agreed to conceal how Guan Wen had gone missing and settled on a false account that he had led them into the Moon Sea to search for insect core crystals. When the Suyuan Sect sought help, the Sky-Gazing Mirror could not clearly show Guan Wen, but it revealed Mulan Qingqing's group sending Yan Ji away on a Wind Scales treasure.

  • Wu Jinliang persuaded the sect leaders to back a story that Guan Wen had ordered everyone into the Moon Sea, and Shi Chun reluctantly agreed to repeat it.
  • The group waited through the night at the cliff, but Guan Wen did not return, and they concluded he was likely gone.
  • Ji Qinghe brought Guan Wen's disappearance to Chi Rang, who ordered officials to locate Guan Wen through the Sky-Gazing Mirror.
  • The official reported that the mirror could not show Guan Wen clearly or locate him on the Ultimate Mountains and Rivers Map, and said Guan Wen had likely entered the Moon Sea.
  • Wei Mo arrived as the mirror showed Mulan Qingqing's group, and Mulan Qingqing handed Yan Ji a Wind Scales treasure before he flew away.

Ch. 108To Each Their Own Abilities

Yan Ji reached the Moon Sea and confronted the Mystic Continent Forces about Guan Wen, who had gone missing after entering the forbidden grounds. Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang made the group share its cover story, while observers at the Tournament Grounds continued to wonder which side the two belonged to.

  • Chi Rang redirected the projection to follow Yan Ji, then agreed to share the viewing resources with the other Regional Lords.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang asked the gathered leaders for their names and wrote down their sects and affiliations.
  • Yan Ji flew to the Moon Sea, spotted the Mystic Continent Forces, and demanded to know where Guan Wen was.
  • Yan Ji mistakenly addressed Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang by the names Wang Sheng and Gao Qiang and pressed them for an answer.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang said Guan Wen had entered the Moon Sea to find insect core crystals, then directed Yan Ji to question the others.
  • The Mystic Continent Forces repeated their agreed account, while observers speculated that Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang were pawns or spies.

Ch. 109A true scoundrel

Shi Chun proposed sending uninformed people into the Moon Sea to search for the missing Guan Wen, while Yan Ji and Mulan Qingqing weighed the plan. Mulan approved waiting for the scattered groups to reconnect, but her companions were left debating whether to search for Guan Wen and use Shi Chun’s underhanded suggestion.

  • Yan Ji decided to search for Guan Wen, but the others warned him that the Moon Sea was a forbidden zone, so he contacted Mulan Qingqing for instructions.
  • Mulan told Yan Ji not to act rashly and to reconnect with Guan Wen’s scattered forces, but Shi Chun argued they should wait for the groups to contact them.
  • Shi Chun privately suggested that Mulan send uninformed people into the Moon Sea under another pretext, and Yan Ji agreed to consider the proposal.
  • Shi Chun told his accomplices only that they should know as little as possible, while Wu Jinliang remarked that the search party would need a guide.
  • Mulan Qingqing received Yan Ji’s messages and approved waiting for the scattered groups, while Chao Zhilin and Guan Yingjie debated whether to search for Guan Wen using Shi Chun’s plan.

Ch. 110Twelve Groups

Mulan Qingqing agreed to send a hundred people toward the Moon Sea to search for Guan Wen, while Xiang Lan'er gathered twelve covert groups and decided to seek Shi Chun there. By evening, Guan Yingjie's party had reached the Moon Sea and was waiting for Yan Ji's orders at dawn.

  • Chao Zhilin and Guan Yingjie persuaded Mulan Qingqing to send a hundred people to search for Guan Wen and eliminate Wang Sheng, and she contacted Yan Ji to coordinate.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang learned from Bian Weiying that Bai Shuchuan was leading people toward the Moon Sea, where they might encounter the Mystic Continent's forces.
  • Xiang Lan'er summoned twelve groups to the Snow-Covered Summit, learned that six groups had been assigned to the Moon Sea, and suspected Sun Shigang had carried a way to avoid its dangers.
  • Xiang Lan'er decided to go to the Moon Sea to find Bian Weiying and investigate whether Shi Chun had Sun Shigang's belongings.
  • Guan Yingjie's party reached the Moon Sea and, on Yan Ji's instructions, waited until daybreak before acting.

Ch. 111There Are No Wild Beasts in the Moon Sea

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang manipulated Yan Ji into leading a reluctant force into the Moon Sea, then killed him while he examined Wind Scales. When they returned to bury Yan Ji beside Guan Wen, they found Guan Wen's grave disturbed and his corpse missing.

  • Yan Ji sent the others away, then told Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang to guide reinforcements into the Moon Sea, but Shi Chun convinced him to lead the force himself.
  • Shi Chun reassured the arriving group that the Moon Sea was safe enough to enter, and Yan Ji led them into the forest to search for Guan Wen.
  • Shi Chun pointed out the hill where Guan Wen had disappeared, and Wu Jinliang found Wind Scales beneath a tree.
  • While Yan Ji examined Wind Scales, Shi Chun stabbed him through the heart and Wu Jinliang cut his throat.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang carried Yan Ji to Guan Wen's burial site, where they discovered that Guan Wen's grave had been opened and his corpse was gone.

Ch. 112Entombed

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang were trapped in a lightless fissure after fleeing invisible monsters that attacked the sect disciples. They found an elaborately carved cave residence, where Wu Jinliang emerged carrying an ancient metal bracelet.

  • Wu Jinliang looted Yan Ji, buried his body, and gave Shi Chun one of the Wind Scales they found.
  • Shi Chun used his Right-Eye Ability to spot enormous mist-like monsters attacking people, and he and Wu Jinliang fled into one of their dark openings.
  • The pair fell into a narrow fissure, used Sandalwood Gold Illumination for light, and learned that the strange space might disrupt their talismans.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang tied grains of sandalwood gold to themselves and searched the fissure, finding massive carvings across its walls.
  • Wu Jinliang discovered a carved cave residence and came out holding an ancient-looking metal bracelet.

Ch. 113The Big Dipper Demon Tome

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang discovered a vast Heaven-and-Earth Bracelet and found the remains of Jin Zhan, who had been trapped for over a thousand years. They learned that escape might be impossible, then uncovered mysterious notes and a magical command arrow whose purpose remained unknown.

  • Wu Jinliang showed Shi Chun the Heaven-and-Earth Bracelet, which contained an enormous space, and shook a chest out of it.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang found the Big Dipper Demon Tome and read Jin Zhan’s message asking them to deliver it to his descendants at Golden Tower Mountain on Gathering Grotto Continent.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang realized that Jin Zhan’s thousand-year imprisonment made their own escape seem bleak, but Shi Chun encouraged Wu Jinliang not to give up.
  • Shi Chun activated a golden command arrow that formed a sphere of rippling light around them, but neither man could discover its use.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang examined stacks of Six Realms Exchange notes worth one million each and wondered what era Jin Zhan had lived in.

Ch. 114The treasure robe

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang searched the old demon’s belongings and discovered that his robe was an indestructible treasure that changed size and protected its wearer from powerful attacks. Shi Chun gave the robe to Wu Jinliang, and they were left with a possible way to escape still ahead of them.

  • Shi Chun took the Heaven-and-Earth Bracelet and stored the treasure and most of Wu Jinliang’s collected belongings inside it.
  • Shi Chun noticed that the old demon’s clothes looked unusually new, and Wu Jinliang removed the old demon’s robe and found a golden furry tail beneath it.
  • Wu Jinliang tested the robe and discovered it could not be cut and would adjust to fit him after he strained against it with his power.
  • Shi Chun wore the robe and tested its protection against Wu Jinliang’s punches and full-strength saber strike, remaining unharmed.
  • Wu Jinliang pleaded for the robe and offered his Wind Scales and other treasures in exchange, but Shi Chun gave it to him without taking anything.

Ch. 115Out of the crack

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang searched the Moon Sea’s cliffs for a way out and stumbled into a fissure filled with monsters. Outside, Bai Shuchuan led his group into the Moon Sea as Bian Weiying warned her companions, and the chapter ended with Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang trapped in the crack under attack.

  • Wu Jinliang delightedly claimed the Treasure Garment, and Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang searched the cave abode and cliff crevices for an exit without success.
  • Chi Rang learned that Yan Ji, Shi Chun, and Wu Jinliang had disappeared from the Ultimate Mountains and Rivers Map, while Wei Mo showed little concern.
  • Bai Shuchuan’s group captured and killed a lookout, learned how Mystic Continent’s forces were stationed near the Moon Sea, and prepared to enter it.
  • Bai Shuchuan led his group into the Moon Sea, and Bian Weiying sent Shi Chun, Wu Jinliang, and Xiang Lan’er an update before entering.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang followed sounds of fighting through a narrow fissure, emerged into darkness, and found themselves surrounded by enormous tentacled monsters.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang retreated into the fissure, where its narrow confines left them trapped as monster tentacles reached inside.

Ch. 116Monsters

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang fought their way through a swarm of invisible monsters in an abyss, then escaped using the Wind Scales. They flew over the surrounding stone landscape with more monsters in pursuit, and Shi Chun ordered Wu Jinliang to hide their glowing sandalwood gold.

  • Shi Chun used the Demonic-Blight-Free Saber to rescue Wu Jinliang from the monsters and hold off their attacks.
  • After the monsters vanished and attacked again, Shi Chun activated his Right-Eye Ability and saw them through their invisibility.
  • Shi Chun told Wu Jinliang to cling to his leg, and they plunged through the monsters toward the bottom of the abyss.
  • Shi Chun activated the Wind Scales to slow their fall and sweep them up along the cliff, escaping the abyss as the monsters pursued.
  • Shi Chun spotted a red-glowing monster whose horn-like call made the others appear, then flew over the stone landscape with Wu Jinliang.
  • Shi Chun realized the monsters were drawn to their light and told Wu Jinliang to remove and store their sandalwood gold.

Ch. 117Glacier

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang escaped the monsters and hid inside a mountain while Shi Chun recovered from the strain of using his right-eye ability. In the Moon Sea, the survivors discovered that the monsters feared the cold and took shelter in a glacier, but they had no idea how to return.

  • Shi Chun’s right-eye ability failed again, and activating it caused severe pain and dizziness, so he guided Wu Jinliang into a monster-free hole in a stone mountain to recover.
  • Bai Shuchuan rallied Jieyun Mountain’s disciples and used the Wind Scales to escape the monsters, but the scales were damaged and Zhao Shanqi and Bian Weiying were missing.
  • Zhao Shanqi and Bian Weiying fought their way through another realm, where Gan Tangyu saved Bian Weiying after her Immobilizing Talismans failed.
  • A group of survivors followed a warning that the monsters feared the cold and retreated into a glacier, where the monsters eventually abandoned their pursuit.
  • Zhao Shanqi noted that the monsters were weak individually but numerous, and the survivors feared they might be trapped because no one who had vanished in the Moon Sea had returned.

Ch. 118A Mother-Child Talisman That Answered

Trapped in a world of eternal night, Bian Weiying and her companions found an ice field where monsters would not venture, while Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang reasoned that the monsters might open a gateway during the Skyfall Meteor Assembly. Bian Weiying’s Mother-Child Talisman reached Shi Chun, who decided to find her despite her warning that her group might become dangerous.

  • Bian Weiying’s group found the frozen corpse of Jiang Mi, a former Heavenly Court soldier, and learned that the realm had no daylight and no obvious escape.
  • Bian Weiying’s group searched the ice field, discovered they could not leave it without monster attacks, and gathered at the cave where the monsters feared the cold.
  • Mulan Qingqing arrived at the edge of the Moon Sea with the Mystic Continent’s forces after learning that multiple groups had entered it.
  • Shi Chun told Wu Jinliang that the monsters might reopen a gateway while the Skyfall Meteor Assembly continued, giving them about ten days of chances to escape.
  • Bian Weiying sent a routine report with her Mother-Child Talisman, and Shi Chun unexpectedly replied, confirming that he was alive and trapped in the same realm.
  • Bian Weiying warned Shi Chun not to come because her group could become a danger, but Shi Chun said he was coming to resolve the dangers.

Ch. 119Willing to Fulfill Her Wish

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang scouted the icefield while Bian Weiying weighed her options among the trapped sect members. Zhao Shanqi then revealed his intentions toward Bian Weiying and tried to win the others’ support by pointing out that her Immobilizing Talismans did not work there.

  • Shi Chun used his right-eye ability and Wind Scales to carry Wu Jinliang over the icefield and survey the terrain.
  • Bian Weiying felt encouraged by Shi Chun’s message, while Gan Tangyu warned her that Zhao Shanqi might be dangerous and tested her feelings about their future together.
  • Bian Weiying told Gan Tangyu that Shi Chun had contacted her and entered the icefield, though she did not know where he was.
  • Zhao Shanqi told the gathered sect members that Mount Wukang’s Immobilizing Talismans seemed useless in the icefield.
  • Zhao Shanqi declared that he was willing to fulfill Bian Weiying’s wish, and one of the sect members challenged him to explain what others would gain.

Ch. 120Grief, Rage, and Despair

Zhao Shanqi and the other major sect disciples turned on Bian Weiying and Gan Tangyu, overpowering them after a deceptive display of light. Zhao Shanqi carried Bian Weiying into the Ice Cave while Gan Tangyu lay gravely wounded, and Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang arrived nearby to investigate the light.

  • Luo Buqi tested Bian Weiying's Second-Rank Immobilization Talisman on Zhao Shanqi, who pretended it had failed and demanded that Gan Tangyu join a scouting party.
  • Zhao Shanqi's group surrounded Bian Weiying and Gan Tangyu, and Bian Weiying revealed Third-Rank Immobilization Talismans and threatened to use them.
  • Zhao Shanqi and two junior brothers unleashed the Divine Light Sect's Divine Light Illuminates All, blinding the group and allowing them to knock Bian Weiying and Gan Tangyu down.
  • Zhao Shanqi carried Bian Weiying into the Ice Cave while Luo Buqi pinned Gan Tangyu to the Icefield with a sword through his chest.
  • Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang followed the distant light to the Icefield, landed nearby, and Shi Chun went ahead to scout.
