Ch. 22Ying Zheng

Ying Si waited at home for Ying Zheng’s return from military academy as their family discussed the Wei Kingdom’s offer to sell its distant Han fief. Ying Zheng arrived and backed Lü Wei’s plan, declaring that their family should claim the Human King’s throne.

  • Ying Si’s mother coaxed him away from his studies to eat while he waited for his older brother, Ying Zheng.
  • Lü Wei and Ying Yiren recalled how Ying Yiren had been expelled from the royal family for marrying Lü Ji, and how mistreatment had changed both of their sons.
  • Lü Wei told Ying Yiren that the Wei royal family would sell its troublesome Han fief to a buyer of royal blood, and urged him to seize the opportunity.
  • Ying Zheng returned from military academy and declared that the Ying family should take its turn on the Human King’s throne.

Ch. 23Qin Kingdom! Blitzkrieg!

Ying Zheng led his family and followers to Lodi City, where he built a powerful army and transformed the city into a hidden kingdom. When Chu’s wars weakened its neighbors, Qin conquered Shang and Zhao in a sudden campaign, leaving the continent braced for its next move.

  • Ying Yiren and Lü Wei secured the Ying family’s territory in Han, endured humiliation in Wei, and led their followers to Lodi City with Ying Zheng.
  • Ying Zheng reunited with Wang Jian, Bai Qi, and Shang Yang, then assigned them military and administrative roles as they brought Lodi City under control.
  • Shang Yang’s census revealed more than 6.7 million residents, while Lü Wei rebuilt the treasury and Ying Si developed advanced electrical technology and weapons.
  • Over three years, Ying Zheng secretly trained 200,000 elite troops and equipped them with tanks, cannons, and other modern weapons.
  • As Chu invaded neighboring kingdoms, Ying Zheng renamed Lodi City Xianyang, founded Great Qin, and proclaimed himself king.
  • Wang Jian and Bai Qi led Qin’s forces to destroy Zhao and Shang in ten days, prompting Chu and the other kingdoms to withdraw and prepare for war.

Ch. 24Qin destroyed Wei and Qi! An agreement among the three kingdoms

Qin conquered Qi and Wei, leaving Qin, Chu, and Xia to form an agreement that whoever developed a weapon capable of destroying a country would unite the Human Race. Sixty years later, Zhang Yang woke to find human civilization nearing the early twentieth century and resolved to advance it to level two.

  • Wang Jian's aircraft and ground forces conquered Qi in nine days, while Bai Qi seized Wei after surrounding it and killing its royal family.
  • Chu and Xia announced powerful new weapons and proposed peace talks, while Ying Zheng's reforms strengthened Qin's military, government, education, and welfare systems.
  • After three days of talks, Yu Shun proposed that the first kingdom to develop a single weapon capable of destroying a country would receive the other kingdoms' unconditional surrender, and the three kings sealed the agreement.
  • Peace followed as the kingdoms advanced technology and the Dwarf Race integrated into human society; sixty years passed.
  • Zhang Yang woke in the Xia Era's year 180, saw that human civilization had nearly reached the early twentieth century, and planned to develop a Nuclear Bomb and advance humanity to a level-two civilization.

Ch. 25Qin's Unification! The First Emperor!

Ying Zheng used Qin Kingdom’s strategic weapon to secure Chu and Xia’s surrender and reunify the Human Race, then accepted the title of First Emperor. He announced that he would perform the Fengshan rites on Mount Tai and offer sacrifices to Father God.

  • Ying Si worked tirelessly to develop a strategic weapon while Shang Yang reviewed reports and worried about Blue Star’s future population growth.
  • Ying Zheng considered the coming Star War and Father God, and resolved that unifying the Human Race and performing the Fengshan rites might let him meet Father God.
  • In Year 183 of the Xia Era, Qin Kingdom announced its strategic weapon and demanded Chu and Xia surrender; Shun accepted for Xia, while Chu initially questioned Qin’s claims.
  • Li Mu launched rockets with Wang Jian’s authorization, and Zhang Yi told Chu Kingdom that its gift had been sent; after an explosion near the palace, Chu agreed to surrender.
  • Qin Kingdom accepted both kingdoms’ surrenders and took control of their territories; Shun died by suicide, while the King of Chu relinquished his position.
  • Shang Yang proposed the title Emperor for Ying Zheng, who eventually accepted and became the First Emperor; he announced plans to perform the Fengshan rites on Mount Tai and sacrifice to Father God.

Ch. 26The Fengshan Rites on Mount Tai! Choosing to Advance!

At the Mount Tai Fengshan rites, Zhang Yang appeared as Father God, acknowledged Great Qin, and warned that Blue Star would face a transformation in twenty years. After rewarding Ying Zheng and other Qin leaders with longer lives, he watched humanity unite and advance technologically before confirming Blue Star’s rise to a level-two civilization.

Ch. 27Second-Level Civilization!

Zhang Yang led Blue Star into a second-level civilization, where it joined the tenth Star Ring and entered the wider struggle among planets. After learning about the Star Wars ahead and seeing the Human Race strengthened by cosmic energy, he logged into the Starry Sky Virtual Platform and opened his promotion gift pack, then prepared to claim his reward for ranking ninth on the Potential Rankings.

  • The Star Lord medal announced that Blue Star had advanced to civilization level two and moved into the tenth Star Ring of the Local Interstellar Cloud, where Zhang Yang learned that closer rings provided more energy and that advancement could involve deadly challenges.
  • Zhang Yang saw Blue Star's combat power of 88,471 and decided to keep a cautious, low-profile strategy while cosmic energy began strengthening the planet and its life.
  • The Human Race marveled at the newly visible moon and stars, while the First Emperor received Zhang Yang's warning about Star Wars, Star Rings, and the need to keep the information secret.
  • Zhang Yang entered the Starry Sky Virtual Platform and found a promotion gift pack and a special reward for placing ninth on the second-level Potential Rankings.
  • Zhang Yang opened the promotion pack and received 1,000 energy points, then opened the Potential Rankings pack and exclaimed that he was rich.

Ch. 28Blue Star's Upgrade and the Rules

After exploring the Starry Sky Virtual Platform and learning the rules of Star Wars, Zhang Yang upgraded Blue Star to a level 3 planet and spread intelligent plants across its new continents. He then designed a defensive Wonder for the Primordial Continent, which Ying Zheng completed after three years of work.

  • Zhang Yang explored the rankings and marketplace, learned divine card prices and Star Wars rules, and bought plant slaves and a Star Lord's Guide.
  • Zhang Yang ordered Ying Zheng to prepare humanity for Blue Star's transformation, then upgraded the planet and formed two new continents covered with plant slaves.
  • The Qin Kingdom announced Blue Star's new 9,000-kilometer diameter and named its four continents the Primordial Continent, Firmament Continent, Heavenly Mystery Continent, and Sea-Listening Continent.
  • Zhang Yang chose to create a defensive Wonder and sent Ying Zheng a map and requirements for its construction.
  • Three years later, Ying Zheng completed the preparations, and Zhang Yang used energy points to forge Blue Star's first Wonder, the foundation of the Human Race's future wars.

Ch. 29A cosmic wonder-the Great Wall!

Zhang Yang built the Great Wall as a unique cosmic wonder, reorganized humanity’s defenses, and established the dwarves as humanity’s first subordinate race. By Qin Era year 46, human technology had stalled and its leaders were aging, so Zhang Yang began considering how to extend human lifespans.

  • Zhang Yang spent 4,000 energy points to create an indestructible Great Wall that encircled the Primordial Continent, blocked Star Gates, and raised human morale.
  • The Qin Kingdom divided its forces into five military regions, barred other races from settling on the Primordial Continent, and planned to relocate the dwarves.
  • Zhang Yang bought dwarf slaves and second-tier dwarven technology, while the Qin Kingdom prepared housing and arranged the dwarves’ transfer to the Firmament Continent.
  • Over the following years, the dwarves formed an independent society under Sevi, swore allegiance to the Qin Kingdom, and developed weapons and potions as humanity’s first subordinate corps.
  • By Qin Era year 46, human technology had reached a bottleneck, several senior leaders were aging, and Zhang Yang considered how to increase humanity’s lifespan.

Ch. 30The Beast Arena! The Myriad Races! Desire!

Zhang Yang studied battles and gathered intelligence at the Beast Arena, then brought recordings and information about the myriad races back to Blue Star. After learning that spirit veins could greatly extend lifespans, Ying Zheng and the Human Race’s commanders turned their attention toward war.

  • Zhang Yang watched Beast Arena fights, including an Immortal defeating a regenerating Ghost, and recorded battles and Star Lords’ gossip for the Human Race.
  • Zhang Yang gave the recordings to Ying Zheng, who showed them and the race encyclopedia to the five legion commanders and senior officers.
  • The commanders learned that the Immortal, Ghost, and Vampire Races could extend their lifespans by absorbing energy, while spirit veins could strengthen immortals and enrich other planets.
  • Ying Zheng became excited by the prospect of gaining longevity through spirit veins and called for war, while the commanders fixed bloodthirsty eyes on the immortals shown on screen.

Ch. 31War declared! The Immortal Race!

Zhang Yang declared war on Planet Cross, an Immortal Race civilization, and Blue Star and Cross spent a year preparing for battle. As the Star Gate opened, the first creature stepped through, beginning the invasion.

  • Ying Zheng ordered Bai Qi to lead the Azure Dragon Legion, including two hundred thousand human soldiers and three hundred thousand dwarf soldiers, as the vanguard.
  • Sevi ordered the Dwarf Race to prepare for war and defend Blue Star’s Star Gate.
  • Cross learned that an unfamiliar Human Race had declared war, then ordered the Heaven Sect, Earth Sect, and Immortal Sect to prepare and compete for a spirit vein.
  • The three sects set aside some of their rivalries, both sides completed their preparations, and the Star Gate opened as the first creature stepped through.

Ch. 32Star War Deployment

The Immortal Race watched the Dwarf Race and Human Race deploy for war while Cross and Zhang Yang prepared their forces and tactics. The countdown ended, and the Star War began.

  • The Immortal Race spotted the Dwarf Race emerging from the Star Gate and dismissed them as ugly, while Cross wondered why they had a second-level civilization.
  • The 300,000-strong Dwarf army deployed shields, firearms, antiaircraft guns, vehicles, and other weapons as Immortal scouts recorded their positions.
  • Bai Qi led 200,000 Human troops into formation, using reconnaissance satellites and a War Sand Table to track the battlefield and enemy leaders.
  • Zhang Yang sent Bai Qi intelligence about the Wood Elf, Water Elf, and Wind Elf legions, while both sides fought without War Fog concealing their deployments.
  • A mechanical voice counted down, and the Star War began.

Ch. 33War begins! Dwarf Race vs. Elf Race

Human Race commander Bai Qi deployed satellites and prepared his forces while the Immortal Sect ordered the Wind Elves to attack. The Wind Elf army charged the Dwarf positions, and Dwarf King Sevi ordered his weapons to fire.

  • Human Race satellites began surveying Cross Planet and locating four spirit vein targets while Bai Qi planned to bring its treasures back to Blue Star.
  • After three days, Chao Zhu ordered the Wind Elves to attack the Human Race's Star Gate, while the Heaven and Earth Sects chose to observe.
  • Bai Qi ordered 300,000 Dwarves to occupy defensive positions, prepared anti-aircraft weapons, and loaded shells soaked in Resentment Potion.
  • The Wind Elf King ordered mages to enhance the Black Panther Knights and sent the knights, Elf warriors, archers, and Hippogriff cavalry into battle.
  • As 50,000 Black Panther Knights charged, Sevi ordered the Dwarf cannon and resentment catapult units to aim and fire.

Ch. 34War Erupts! The Origins of the Three Sects!

The Dwarf Race used Resentment Potion and overwhelming gunfire to break the Elf Race’s assault, while the Immortal Race prepared a covert attack and pressured the Heaven and Earth Sects to join the battle. The chapter ended with Bai Qi spotting the Immortal Race squads among the advancing enemy forces as the great battle approached.

  • The Dwarf Race fired Resentment Potion shells into the Elf Race army, causing elves and black panthers to attack one another and disrupting their advance.
  • The Elf King sent the Hippogriff Air Cavalry Regiment against the dwarf weapons, but the Dwarf Race’s guns and anti-aircraft shells shot down every rider.
  • Chao Zhu ordered Immortal Race squads to infiltrate the elf legions and destroy the dwarf weapons, threatened the Wind Elf people, and offered the three sects a share of the spirit vein based on their contributions.
  • The Heaven and Earth Sects accepted Chao Zhu’s offer and ordered their subordinate races to advance toward the Dwarf Race.
  • Bai Qi spotted the conspicuous Immortal Race squads among the elf legions on satellite surveillance and recognized that the great battle was about to begin.

Ch. 35Brothers! I've Got a Bold Idea!

The Elf King led the under-equipped Elf Race toward the Dwarf army while Immortal disciples were embedded among them, and Sevi ordered the dwarves’ helicopter force to strike. As captains Mengqi and Menggu spotted targets that could earn them advancement, both radioed their formations with the same bold proposal.

  • The Elf King cast War Aura, Fearless Aura, and Faith Aura as the elves advanced, while their mages failed to stop the incoming shells.
  • Bai Qi warned Sevi that two thousand immortals were with the elves and more elf armies were approaching, prompting Sevi to put the dwarves on alert and order the helicopters airborne.
  • Nearly ten thousand helicopters rose to attack the Elf Race with Gatling guns and missiles.
  • Captain Mengqi spotted the Immortal Race and called his formation, saying he had a bold idea.
  • Captain Menggu spotted the Elf King riding a golden beast and called his formation with the same announcement, then asked whether they wanted wives.

Ch. 36Slaying the Elf King

Menggu’s helicopter formation killed the Wind Elf King after the dwarf forces wiped out the Immortal Race and devastated the elf army. Bai Qi ordered the wind elves captured, while the two remaining elf armies surrendered to despair.

  • Menggu sent two helicopter formations to 6,000 meters while the others fired on the elf army, and the Immortal Race disciples took heavy losses trying to attack the aircraft.
  • The helicopters exhausted their ammunition and dropped bombs and Resentment Potions, while Menggu’s high-altitude formation waited for the mages defending the Elf King to tire.
  • Menggu ordered a thousand helicopters to dive and fire nearly 4,000 missiles at the Elf King, killing him despite his Golden-Horned Eagle Beast’s attempt to escape.
  • Bai Qi ordered the dwarf vanguard to capture the wind elves and instructed the helicopter troops to kill anyone who resisted.
  • The two other elf armies watched the wind elves being taken through the Star Gate and lost their will to fight.

Ch. 37Capturing the Three Great Elf Legions! An Extreme Operation!

Bai Qi’s forces captured the three Elf legions and then advanced toward the small spirit vein to lure the Immortal sects’ forces away from their bases. The Immortals gathered to defend the vein, only for the transport aircraft to split into three groups and launch a surprise raid on the sects.

  • Bai Qi ordered aircraft to demand the Elves’ surrender while Dwarf troops advanced, and the two Elf Kings surrendered their legions.
  • The Dwarf army escorted more than five hundred thousand Elves through the Star Gate as Bai Qi prepared to seize the spirit vein and confront the Immortal Race.
  • Bai Qi’s forces sent aircraft, Dwarf Berserkers, and human troops toward the center of the continent, prompting Cross to order the Three Great Sect Masters to defend the small spirit vein.
  • The Immortal sects gathered their forces at the vein while Bai Qi’s transport aircraft approached slowly, then split into three groups and raced toward the sects’ home bases.

Ch. 38Afraid to strike the rat for fear of breaking the vase! Time to mine!

The Human Race seized the Three Great Sects’ spirit veins while Zhang Yang counted the spoils and planned to use them to strengthen Blue Star. Weeks later, Dwarf Race soldiers emerged through the Star Gate, leaving Qin Kingdom viewers afraid that the war had been lost.

  • The Immortal Race elders chose to guard the small spirit vein and joined the Three Great Sects in preparing for battle instead of flying back to their bases.
  • Three groups of transport aircraft and Qin-21 Fighters attacked the Three Great Sects’ bases, eliminating defenders before airdropping over 3,200 troops.
  • Qin Ming ordered his soldiers to avoid fighting Immortal Race disciples alone, secure the spirit vein, and begin mining it.
  • Zhang Yang watched the spirit veins being excavated and considered the captured resources, captives, and artifacts valuable spoils for Blue Star.
  • Twenty transport aircraft from each base carried mined resources back to the Star Gate, while Qin Kingdom broadcast news of Bai Qi’s 300,000-strong army at the front.
  • After weeks without updates, Dwarf Race soldiers emerged from the Star Gate, and viewers feared that the Human Race had lost.

Ch. 39Blue Star Erupted! The Second Subject Race

The Qin Kingdom settled the captured wind elves on the Heavenly Mystery Continent and made the Elf Race humanity’s second subject race, while Ying Zheng appointed Alice queen and princess consort. After Blue Star announced victories over the water and wood elves as well, more than sixty transport aircraft carrying Spirit Stones arrived at a guarded military base in Chang’an.

  • The Qin Kingdom settled 120,000 captured wind elves on the Heavenly Mystery Continent after Zhang Yang approved their status as humanity’s second subject race and enabled elves and humans to understand each other.

  • Ying Zheng and Qin commanders waited at a secret military base in Chang’an as more than sixty aircraft carrying Spirit Stones landed.

Ch. 40Scientific Research on Spirit Veins

Ying Zheng and the Qin Kingdom studied the Spirit Stones seized in the Star War, while Zhang Yang sealed Blue Star’s atmosphere to keep spiritual energy from escaping and approved plans to develop cultivation alongside technology. Zhang Yang urged Ying Zheng to conquer the Immortal Race without taking captives and to recover Cross Planet’s soil and air, leaving the campaign focused on extracting every useful resource.

  • Ying Zheng welcomed shipments of Spirit Stones, stored them in the Qin treasury, and rewarded ministers while awaiting Father God’s guidance.
  • Scientists found that Spirit Stones improved human health and longevity, but humans absorbed less than ten percent of their energy and lost what they absorbed outside concentrated environments.
  • Zhang Yang reviewed the research, sealed Blue Star’s atmosphere against spiritual-energy loss, and envisioned humans developing cultivation, magic, and technology together.
  • Zhang Yang told Ying Zheng to conquer the Immortal Race without taking captives and warned him that Cross Planet’s soil was rich in spiritual energy.
  • Ying Zheng ordered Bai Qi to take Cross Planet quickly, then recover its soil and draw its air through the Star Gate for transport to Blue Star.
