An Kai had so many beings under his command.
Why did it have to be Wayne?

Second, abruptly replacing Wayne with someone else would be extremely difficult.
An Kai and Wayne had searched more than once for other beings who could take over Wayne's current work.
Yet no matter how hard those beings tried, they could not manage even a fifth of what Wayne did.

Wayne had long since become indispensable to An Kai.
He was different from Hanks.
To An Kai, Hanks was more someone who helped him preserve his humanity.
Even if Wayne becoming the [Thirteenth-Layer Abyss Lord] could bring An Kai some benefits.
