Transmigration and Nuoding Academy

Lin Yang transmigrated into the world only a few days before entering Nuoding Academy and initially lived as a beggar sleeping on the streets. After awakening his Sharingan and displaying innate full Soul Power, a Spirit Hall deacon arranged a work-study place for him 1.

At the academy entrance, Grandmaster claimed that both Lin Yang and Tang San possessed twin martial souls. Lin Yang rejected the claim and challenged Grandmaster’s recommendation that the Sharingan be cultivated solely for support. Their wager required Lin Yang to develop it into an agility-attack or power-attack martial soul: losing would make him Grandmaster’s disciple, while winning would earn him one request 1 2.
