Liu Zhipeng passed through successive lives as a cult leader, Imperial Commissar, Ork, Necron, and hidden ally during the Siege of Terra. After the Emperor was placed on the Golden Throne, Liu escaped aboard his Night Shroud and awoke in a Necron tomb city for repairs.

  • Liu Zhipeng organized Nurglings, sabotaged Khorne’s forces, and earned Nurgle’s favor before reincarnating as Alexander.
  • As Alexander, Liu led the 99th Regiment to destroy the Orks on Viridia Prime, then left the ward with Inquisitor Valerius as Guilliman reviewed the battle report.

Arc 1The Viridia Stand

Liu Zhipeng rose from Nurgling gang leader to High Priest, then reincarnated as Alexander, a Commissar who led the 99th Regiment against the Orks on Viridia Prime. The regiment destroyed the Ork horde at the cost of nearly all its soldiers, and Alexander left the ward with Inquisitor Valerius as Roboute Guilliman reviewed the battle report.

  • Liu Zhipeng organized Nurglings into a gang, sabotaged Khorne’s forces, and helped Nurgle win the war, earning Grandfather's Watch and Love before reincarnating.
  • Liu Zhipeng spread the Four-Armed Emperor doctrine among Viridia Prime’s miners, became High Priest, and led the cult’s uprising and defense against the Tyranids.
  • Liu Zhipeng and the Hall Masters opened a warp rift that brought Ka'Bandha and other daemons into the fight, then Liu reincarnated with the Heretical Leader ability.
  • Alexander developed his emotional-fueling theory, joined the 99th Infantry, and rallied the regiment for its deployment to Viridia Prime.

Arc 2Fireplace and Big Tooth

Alexander led the 99th Regiment in a doomed defense against Angron, while Liu Zhipeng’s next life as an Ork carried him from gang leader to Warboss in Ghazghkull’s WAAAGH! The Orks joined the battle for Octarius, where Liu helped turn the tide against the Tyranids and Bonecrusher led the final counterattack.

  • Guilliman met Alexander, declared him a hero, preserved the 99th Regiment, and assigned it to the Indomitus Crusade under Colonel Carsten.
  • Alexander transformed the regiment’s recruits into a devoted fighting family and led them to Malakbel to defend the Hymn Engine from Angron.
  • As Angron overwhelmed the defenses, Alexander ordered the fleet to retreat and led his followers in a sacrificial assault that destroyed eight Bloodthirsters and wounded Angron.
  • Angron destroyed the Hymn Engine, spreading Khorne’s curse, while Alexander was posthumously canonized and Liu Zhipeng began his fourth life as an Ork.

Liu Zhipeng helped Bonecrusher defeat the Tyranids at Octarius, then led an Ork raid on Cadia that devastated the Black Legion before dying again. Reborn as a Necron Overlord, he survived the destruction of an Aeldari world only to awaken in an Ork arena and be torn apart by its horde.

  • Liu Zhipeng organized the Meat Grinder defense at Octarius, where Bonecrusher’s WAAAGH! fought off a massive Tyranid invasion.
  • Liu Zhipeng led Tunnel Rat Boyz underground to kill Tyranid synapse creatures, then died fighting a Tyrant in a collapsing volcano.
  • Grotsnik rebuilt Liu Zhipeng with Tyranid neural tissue and machinery, and Liu received Gork and Mork’s blessing to take a WAAAGH! to Cadia.

Arc 4The Siege of Terra

Liu Zhipeng secretly aided the loyalists through the Siege of Terra, helping them defeat Horus and drive back the traitors. After the Emperor was placed on the Golden Throne, Liu escaped aboard his Night Shroud and was taken into a Necron tomb city for repairs.

  • Liu Zhipeng took Kastor Alpha’s identity, forged evidence of Horus’s betrayal, and presented it to Ferrus Manus, Vulkan, and Corax before the loyalists landed on Isstvan V.
  • As the betrayal erupted on Isstvan V, Liu killed Erebus, helped free the captured loyalists, and escaped while Ferrus Manus fought Fulgrim.
  • Liu reached Terra with Vulkan, secretly strengthened the Imperial Palace’s defenses, and used hidden Canoptek Scarabs and Reality Stabilizers to support the loyalists during the siege.
  • Liu’s Reality Stabilization Field weakened the daemons and traitor champions at the Eternal Wall, allowing Sanguinius to banish Ka'Bandha and Angron before Horus attacked him.
