Captain Hui's sudden remark left everyone present stunned.
Chu Sheng glanced at Captain Hui, who was caught up in the excitement of finally divining Xiling and her companions' origins and information, then at the somewhat surprised Xiling and the others. He immediately realized what was happening, stepped forward, and roared, "You fool! What the hell did you divine?!"
"Huh?" Captain Hui's delighted, slightly relieved expression froze as he looked blankly at Chu Sheng. The moment their eyes met, however, Chu Sheng began frantically signaling to him.
Only then did Captain Hui look past Chu Sheng and notice the seven Nature Spirits behind him. He was so embarrassed that he wanted to curl his toes into the ground.
Captain Hui's face flushed crimson. Looking at Chu Sheng and everyone else watching him, he swallowed what he had been about to say. "I finally figured out how far the Anomalies are from us."
Then he sent Chu Sheng a message through his mental power. "They're here! Why didn't you tell me?!"
"How the hell did I not sense anything?!"
"It would've been strange if you had," Chu Sheng replied.
When Xiling and the others approached, even he had sensed nothing and noticed nothing, let alone Captain Hui.
