It was around seven thirty in the evening.
With Sasuke carefully helping him out, Naruto showed off his cooking skills and prepared a table full of delicious food.
Sasuke had now mastered the Shadow Clone Technique, and Naruto had said they would try that training method that promised rapid progress tonight.
So although every dish was exquisite, Sasuke barely took the time to savor any of it. Instead, he ate as fast as he could.
Seeing how impatient Sasuke was, Naruto matched his pace and wolfed down his food.
Half an hour later, thanks to their combined efforts, the kitchen gleamed.
Once they returned to the living room, Sasuke could no longer wait to start training.
"Naruto."
Seeing Sasuke looking at him with bright, wide eyes, Naruto nodded. "Sasuke, make a shadow clone first."
"Okay."
As Sasuke formed hand seals, Naruto did the same.
"Shadow Clone Technique!"
Pop, pop...
One shadow clone of each of them appeared in the room.
"What next?"
Sasuke immediately pressed him.
Naruto waved a hand to tell the original Sasuke not to rush, then walked over to their shadow clones.
"You two can go wherever you want and do whatever you want, but you have to dispel yourselves together in three minutes. Got it?"
"Yeah."
"No problem."
Sasuke's shadow clone nodded without quite understanding, while Naruto's clone immediately revealed a knowing smile after receiving his original's instructions.
"Go on." The original Naruto waved his hand.
"Hah!"
Whoosh, whoosh...
As soon as he finished speaking, their shadow clones vanished.
Now Sasuke was even more confused. "Naruto, why are we doing this?"
"Sasuke, let's wait three minutes. Then help me with an experiment, and you'll understand what makes this training method so special."
"Okay." Hearing that, Sasuke was clearly brimming with anticipation.
