Tetsuhiro tried to save Dartz, but Dartz vanished after the Serpent God emerged and absorbed him. As Madara fought the Serpent God, Tetsuhiro learned that defeating it required absorbing all its darkness, and Madara attempted to seal it with Super Chibaku Tensei.

• Tetsuhiro used Sage Mode to slow Dartz's freezing, but an enormous serpent burst from the ground and Tetsuhiro teleported away with Dartz’s severed arm as Dartz disappeared.
