As Celine joined his Security Department and District 25 faced growing turmoil, Jonas turned his attention to recruiting sick refugees from Huacheng.

• Jonas investigated Crimson Rabbit’s cyberattack, learned of Yushua Delan’s ties to the Void Realm Church, and gained Annis Erdoka’s Mark, which awakened his compound eyes and sharpened his senses.
• Kyudai Li’s team completed the first-generation Virtual Reality prototype, and Jonas secured support from Chelsea and Rhein after Carol rejected his initial proposal.
• Jonas tried to free Esnie from her collar, but she begged to keep it and stay with him, while he offered Beigong Ling Virtual Reality projects and partnered with Senna Life.
• At the Virtual Reality launch, an attacker shot at Rhein, and Jonas subdued and killed her before the underground Central AI ordered surveillance of him.

Jonas rescued the Huacheng captives, expanded the Alt Conglomerate, and drew Yushua and Carol into his plans. After warning Carol about the coming calamity, Jonas’s prediction came true when a huge sphere eclipsed the sun and plunged the world into darkness.

• Jonas and Beigong Ling raided the Yinghua Chamber of Commerce, freed the Huacheng captives, and brought the Chamber under Alt Conglomerate control.
• Jonas used Celine’s consciousness to trap Yushua, then negotiated a partnership with her and arranged for her to meet Afanisi.
• The Alt Conglomerate launched virtual reality, recruited Huacheng workers, and rose to become a First District.
• Jonas told Carol he was the inheritor of the predecessor civilization and humanity’s future savior, then gave her evidence of the approaching calamity.
• Eiffel reported that the Misen Family controlled the Federation and planned to send Noel Misen to District 25, prompting Jonas to urge caution.
• At 14:10, a huge sphere obscured the sun and darkness spread across the world, confirming Jonas’s warning to Carol.

Jonas intervened when the Predecessor Civilization tried to connect with Beigong Ling, then met Zero and learned that it wanted to revive its civilization. After learning Annis Erdoka’s account of the Zerg and the rifts, Jonas returned to the growing conflict between Noel and the Alt Conglomerate, while his relationships with Eiffel and Beigong Ling continued to develop.

• Noel Misen entered District 25 after an ambush, met Carol, and watched Jonas taunt her in a video as she began investigating who had attacked her.
• Jonas’s hotel encounter with Beigong Ling led to an awkward confrontation, while he also captured Shigure Ryoko as a frightening prank and left her a barrel-charm reminder.
• When an ethereal voice tried to connect with Beigong Ling, Jonas used psionic energy to enter the link and encountered Zero, who identified herself as the last survivor of the predecessor civilization and explained the Forerunner Project.
• Jonas escaped the link exhausted, and Beigong Ling recovered in the hospital before Jonas returned to Annis Erdoka and asked about the predecessor civilization and the Zerg.
• Annis showed Jonas memories of the Zerg sustaining the Void Realm rifts and explained that the predecessor civilization had interrupted their ascension ritual, causing the rifts to open prematurely.
• Noel sought Yucas’s help against the Peacekeeping Forces’ radical faction, and Jonas advised Yucas to accept while telling her he trusted her.
• Noel gathered intelligence about the Alt Conglomerate’s conference and suspected it could reveal a chance to ambush the gathering, while Jonas agreed to dinner with Eiffel and she cooked him Chinese dishes.

Jonas rescued Yucas, defeated Noel’s scheme, and strengthened his alliances while several women advanced their abilities and relationships with him. As Dorothy Misen prepared to destroy Jonas and the Federation moved against District 25, Jonas united the district’s companies under the Alt Conglomerate.
