Structure and Authority

• The God Realm is a top-tier force within its star domain rather than the entirety of the universe. Its gods function as administrators who hold Authority within the territories governed by the realm. 342 445
• A deity's Authority is territorial. For example, the Sea God governs seas across the God Realm's subordinate planes, but loses that Authority outside its jurisdiction. 445
• The realm can strengthen itself and its gods by absorbing or devouring lower planes, expanding its governing territory. 445
• Fundamental Authorities may be divided among several gods. Water, for instance, is shared in portions by the Water God, Sea God, and Water Dragon King; complete control of an elemental Authority can elevate one to God King level. 329
• The God Realm Central Hub monitors and restrains gods within the realm. Its controller can monitor most gods, though the Hub itself does not directly increase divine power. 266 326

Laws and Restrictions

• The God Realm follows a stated policy of non-interference with lower realms. 284

History

Tang San uses the God Realm Central Hub, originally left to him by Goodness and Evil, to control the realm and monitor most gods. He secretly transfers accumulated Power of Faith from the Hub to Douluo Planet, where it is concealed in the Golden Tree. 266 270 282

Electrolux's ascension as the new God of Death draws the Committee's attention after he condenses a Divine Position in the lower realm. Destruction argues that the new God King should be brought into the God Realm, while Tang San attempts to delay his admission. The Committee accepts Electrolux, restoring the previously vacant God of Death position. 283

The return of the Dragon God destabilizes the established order. It invalidates the ban on Spirit Beast godhood, permits gods to seek Spirit Beast inheritors, and intensifies the conflict between Tang San and Destruction over the realm's future. 328 329

At a later point, the God Realm is swept away by space-time turbulence and carried near a black hole, severing its connection to Douluo Planet and its other subordinate planes. The loss of its restraints leaves Douluo Planet vulnerable to invasions by the Abyss Plane. 348 397 398

In the sequence set ten thousand years earlier, Su Wen establishes the God Court over the entire star domain. His divine beasts reclaim fragmented Authorities from the God Realm and other divine realms; the God Realm collapses as its protective boundary expands into the God Court's star-domain-wide barrier. 450 451

Divine Positions

• God of Death — Vacant before Electrolux restores it through his ascension. 283
• Sea God — Held by Tang San before Wang Dong'er inherits it, stripping him of the position. 366 375
• Asura God — Tang San's remaining basis for authority after losing the Sea God position; Xiao Wu later relinquishes the position, costing Tang San his Asura divine power. 375 439
