The corridor on the 200th Floor was spacious.
A thick carpet covered the floor, muffling every footstep.
But the air smelled awful.
It was a mix of blood, medicine, and an indescribable stench of decay.
This was the pinnacle for fighters.
It was also a bottomless pool of stagnant water.
Many people would stop at nothing to hold on to their place on this floor.
The four of them carried their key cards down the long corridor, looking for their rooms.
"This place feels really uncomfortable."
Killua kept his hands in his pockets, warily scanning his surroundings.
"Those disgusting stares are everywhere."
Kurapika brought up the rear.
He could sense it clearly.
Behind the tightly shut doors on either side of the corridor lurked plenty of malicious Nen.
Suddenly.
The path ahead was blocked.
Three figures emerged from around the corner and swaggered into the middle of the corridor.
The man on the left wore a strange hat and toyed with a metal spinning top.
This was Gido.
The man in the middle sat in a modified wheelchair, a blanket over his legs and a sinister look in his eyes.
This was Riehlvelt.
The man on the right wore a mask, his left sleeve hanging empty. He had only his right hand.
This was Sadaso.
All three were disabled, and all three looked exceptionally nasty.
They were the 200th Floor's infamous Rookie Crusher Trio.
They specialized in farming wins by intimidating and bullying newcomers who had just arrived.
"Stop."
Sadaso stepped forward.
The knuckles of his remaining right hand cracked as he clenched it.
"Newbies."
"Do you understand the rules of the 200th Floor?"
He deliberately released an oppressive surge of Nen.
He intended to overwhelm these four seemingly frail boys with his presence before anything else.
Gon stopped walking.
