Boruto had been lying at home, sleeping in. The past few days had utterly exhausted him, leaving him no time to get any proper rest. With no one bothering him for once, he had planned to sleep until he woke naturally, only for his dad to ruin his sweet dreams.
He had even brought home some stray kid, claiming he was Boruto's long-lost older brother. No way. I must still be half asleep. I'll sleep a little longer.
After seeing Naruto and Kawaki, Boruto rubbed his eyes and went back to sleep.
Seeing Boruto fall asleep again, Naruto hurried to wake him up.
"Come on, kid, get out of bed! Do you know what time it is? Are you waiting for the sun to roast your backside?"
Naruto forcibly woke Boruto again, pulling his blanket straight off so he could no longer sleep.
"Hey! What are you doing?"
Boruto looked at his dad in confusion. What was going on today? When his gaze shifted back to Kawaki beside Naruto, he froze. Holy crap, that wasn't a dream! He really did bring someone home!
Boruto snapped wide awake and ran straight outside, ignoring Naruto and Kawaki beside him.
"Hey, you little brat! Where are you going?"
No matter how much Naruto shouted after him, Boruto showed no intention of stopping. He headed straight for Elder Uncle's house to find his mom.
"Oh my god, what's going on? No, I have to tell Mom!"
When Boruto arrived at Elder Uncle Meihui's house, he found his mother, Hinata, chatting with his aunt, Uchiha Shizuku, just as he had expected.
The two women noticed the panting Boruto as well.
"What's wrong, little Boruto? What's got you in such a hurry?" Shizuku asked with concern, her eyes smiling as she watched him gasp for breath
