Kakashi and Might Guy came charging in, and Nagato certainly wasn't going to sit back and wait.

The Summoning Beasts behind Nagato rushed forward. Naraka Path also summoned the King of Hell and tossed the battle-damaged Preta Path, who had been summoned over, into his mouth.

The King of Hell could repair injured Six Paths bodies. Whenever one needed repairs, Naraka Path's King of Hell would swallow it, then spit it out restored to full fighting strength.

Before Nagato killed him and turned him into a puppet, Asura Path had been an excellent puppeteer who had already modified his own body to some extent. After taking over, Nagato had given him an epic upgrade.
