Chihane came to the Shinobi World from another world. A year after his arrival, he still wondered about the parents and a woman he had left behind. His familiarity with the original story informs his fears about future wars, Kakashi’s fate, and the emergence of stronger enemies 6 48 54.

As Sakumo’s eldest son, Chihane initially carried expectations that he would uphold the Hatake Clan’s reputation. Instead, his poor ninjutsu aptitude left him the Ninja Academy’s dead last while his younger brother Kakashi had already become a Chunin. Unable to use even the three basic techniques before his system awakened, he compensated with relentless physical training and later system-taught swordsmanship 1 4 143.

Zoro’s Training Manual and powerful pirate constitution accelerated his development, but his routine remained demanding.
