Su Jiu led her companions to a village where a temple deity trapped intruders in a formation of deceptive memory rooms. After they broke the formation, a tower pavilion appeared, and Su Jiu entered with part of the group to meet the deity.

• Su Jiu set out for the Demon-Subduing Land as a red scar spread across the sky, then investigated a village where four of her disciples had disappeared.
• Su Jiu and her companions found the villagers protected by a mysterious deity, while the village chief and a boy at the temple revealed little about the missing disciples.
• Su Jiu led the group into the Hall of Eternal Life and, with Ning Fan and Chu Luohen, broke the temple’s Four-Nine Exquisite Formation.
• A mirror room tried to expose Su Jiu’s secrets, but Little Gift shattered the mirrors and defeated the voice’s attempt to probe her.
• The Snow Sprite fell under the mirror monsters’ control and attacked Su Jiu, but she restrained him and drew out the black energy until he recovered.
• Chu Luohen reunited Su Jiu with the Enforcement Hall disciples, and Su Jiu reasoned that the temple’s rooms were manipulating their memories and perceptions.
• The altered formation collapsed after Ning Fan and the others emerged, revealing the group at the temple entrance and a tower pavilion that Su Jiu entered with her companions.

Su Jiu and her companions defeated the Mirror Spirit’s illusion and continued into the expanding Demon-Subduing Land, where they pursued Zuo Kexin through a time domain. The group reached the cave at its center, where Zuo Kexin confronted them and Lin Jiaojiao pleaded for her life to save the missing disciples.

• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen exposed the Mirror Spirit’s village as an illusion, defeated its puppets, and watched the mirror world collapse as the spirit vanished.
• Yun Huanling joined Su Jiu’s group, and they entered the Demon-Subduing Land through its failing barrier.
• The group found Lin Jiaojiao gravely wounded, learned Zuo Kexin had captured her and Hu Yucheng, and discovered Zuo Kexin served a demon seed by eating people.
• Su Jiu followed Zuo Kexin’s mark through the land’s dangerous vegetation, while Lin Jiaojiao revealed that Zuo Kexin had held her for what she thought was only two days.
• Chu Luohen warned that the group was approaching an enemy’s time domain, and Su Jiu led the others inside after they found its boundary.
• Su Jiu’s group reached the cave at the domain’s center, where Zuo Kexin appeared among strange doors and candlesticks.
• Yang Guo blocked Zuo Kexin’s attack on Lin Jiaojiao, but Lin asked Yang Guo to spare Zuo Kexin so they could find the missing disciples.

Su Jiu and her companions were trapped in a Ghost Domain nested within the time domain, where they reunited with the rescued disciples and uncovered the space’s hidden structure. They reached the time domain’s center and began combining their domains to challenge its laws, but remained unable to leave.

• Su Jiu forced Zuo Kexin to reveal that both doors led to vengeful ghosts, then followed Lin Jiaojiao through the left door into a void of whirlpools that scattered the group.
• Su Jiu and Yun Huanling became separated in the Ghost Domain, and Su Jiu tracked him through scraps of his bloodied clothing while a mysterious Man in Black had attacked and then spared him.
• Lin Jiaojiao reunited with the Mystic Dharma Immortal Sect disciples, and Chu Luohen destroyed the ghost mist trapping them before Ning Fan led them to a cave with a teleportation array.
• Su Jiu discovered that she and Yun Huanling were trapped in an overlapping space, and she and Chu Luohen broke its weak point to reunite with Ning Fan and the unconscious Chu Luohen.
• Su Jiu and Yun Huanling learned that the Ghost Domain was fused with the time domain, helped the injured disciples prepare to retreat, and found the time domain’s central chamber behind a stone door depicting human purgatory.
• Little Green revealed that he was the Azure Dragon spirit vein and told Su Jiu about the destroyed Vermilion Bird lineage and the Phoenix Egg’s possible connection to its fate.
• Chu Luohen summoned four pillars of light, and Su Jiu, Yun Huanling, Ning Fan, and Dao Lord Qing Ci released their domains to overlay the time domain.
• The combined domains shook the mountain, which collapsed around the sheltered disciples, but the four pillars of light cleared the falling rocks while Yang Guo explained that they still could not leave the time domain.

Su Jiu confronted A Meng and the Nightmare Demon in the Demon-Subduing Land, then survived A Meng’s attempt to possess her through an illusion in her sea of consciousness. She returned to the battle and captured the Nightmare Demon, seeking information about Xia Jue.

• Su Jiu and her companions entered the deeper Demon-Subduing Land, where they rescued A Meng and learned she lived there and had used Su Qingqing to lure Su Jiu.
• A Meng blamed Su Jiu and the Upright Sects for her unstable soul, while the others fought demon-seed-controlled Nine-Tailed Foxes outside the courtyard.
• Su Jiu purified the foxes and their demon seeds, but the Nightmare Demon attacked and used A Meng’s courtyard as cover before the group exposed and destroyed its clone.
• The Nightmare Demon helped A Meng send her soul into Su Jiu, and A Meng entered Su Jiu’s sea of consciousness to seek and devour her consciousness.
• A Meng believed she had taken over Su Jiu’s body, but Su Jiu revealed that A Meng had been trapped in an illusion that was wearing down her soul.
• Su Jiu expelled A Meng’s soul and returned to the battle, then stopped Chu Luohen and Ning Fan from killing the Nightmare Demon because she needed it to reveal Xia Jue’s whereabouts.
• Su Jiu trapped the Nightmare Demon in a golden talisman array, and it demanded that she ask for its help.
