Su Jiu saved Su Mianmian with the Zijin Token at the cost of her own health, then set out with Chu Luohen to find the ingredients needed for a cure and investigate the Wuyi Tribe. They reached the tribe after uncovering signs that Hong Ling had been captured, and Su Jiu witnessed a suspicious Gu worm incident.

• Su Jiu captured Gong Hao after he abducted her, learned of his connection to Gong Wusheng, and arranged to have him questioned while Xia Jue secured mineral veins from Gong Wusheng.
• Su Jiu learned Su Mianmian had worry-free gu and only twenty-one days before it would damage her dantian, so she sought the Medicine Gate’s Zijin Token while Hong Ling and Jin Chen pursued the other ingredients.
• The Medicine Gate’s master demanded that Su Jiu accept the risk of death to obtain the token, and Chu Luohen rescued her after she stabbed herself, then brought the token back to suppress Mian Mian’s gu.
• Su Jiu spent a month recovering and learned that finding the legendary Netherworld Flower would be the hardest part of curing Mian Mian.
• Su Jiu left with Chu Luohen to investigate the Wuyi Tribe and search for medicinal ingredients, passing through Poison Valley where they found evidence that Hong Ling had fought someone.
• A captured Hong Ling told her injured cellmate that the Endless-Reach Grass was beneath the Wuyi Tribe clan chief’s bed, while Green Intent’s grandfather warned her not to target Su Mianmian or offend the Azure Tide Sect again.
• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen reached the Wuyi Tribe and saw Qiduo'er taken for inspection after a large red Gu worm was found eating a small green one in her Gu Mound.

Su Jiu and Chu Luohen uncovered the Wuyi Tribe’s exploitation of orphan girls and the plot to seize the Holy Maiden Gu, then recovered the Endless-Reach Grass as the tribe’s leaders and allies fell. They left for the Shangyin Continent, where several other characters began moving toward a Secret Realm opening in two months.

• Lan Xiaoxi told Su Jiu that low-aptitude girls like Qiduo’er were neglected and bound to the outer village by child gu, then described the tribe’s Holy Maiden rituals and the Chieftain’s control over its history.
• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen found the prison in Poison Valley, fought the demon crows, and joined Enforcement Hall disciples searching for True Lord Hong Ling.
• The group found Hong Ling and other women sealed in sacrificial chests, and learned that the Chieftain used Gu Mounds to drain women’s life force and sell the refined gu.
• At the Holy Maiden Gathering, Lan Xiaoxi lost to A Jing, who became the Holy Maiden, while the Liu Household and Xie Liang clashed over the Holy Maiden Gu and the Liu Household killed the Chieftain.
• Hong Ling and the Enforcement Hall fought Green Intent, who revealed poisonous gu worms that devoured the Liu Household Head and two Nascent Soul cultivators before Su Jiu and Chu Luohen killed her.
• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen found the real Endless-Reach Grass in a hidden chest and learned that the Zhu Household had raised orphan girls for gu cultivation and that Zheng Qilong’s Fortune-Transferring Pearl drained Holy Maidens’ life force.
• Su Jiu sent Lan Xiaoxi a farewell message that revealed her supposed parents were Zhu Household members, then departed with Chu Luohen as the Water Moon School’s dealings and Zheng Qilong’s disappearance remained unresolved.
• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen traveled toward the Shangyin Continent, while Ziyin, Gu Ningyun, Lie Wushuang, and Gao Yang appeared in separate scenes as the Secret Realm’s opening approached.

Su Jiu and her companions entered Zen Sound Temple’s Secret Realm to find the treasure Jin Chen needed, then worked to cross the realm’s divided forest. After a teleportation array brought them to a chamber with three mysterious doors, tension rose among the gathered cultivators.

• Su Jiu investigated the Zhu Household and learned that its Soul Tablets had shattered, while the group trained and prepared for Zen Sound Temple’s Secret Realm.
• Su Jiu entered the Secret Realm with Jin Chen, Gu Ningyun, Lie Wushuang, Qin Ming, and others, and the group was scattered across a forest where sixth-tier demon beasts acted unusually peacefully.
• Liu Zhiyan rescued Lu Shuangshuang, while Wei Qian and Wei Xin weighed whether to compete with Jin Chen for the treasure they had been sent to retrieve.
• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen encountered Shu Wugui and Shu Li, bound them after Shu Li attacked, and later spared Brother Chen and his two surviving brothers after confronting their betrayal of their companions.
• Gu Ningyun was poisoned by a giant python, but Master Ziyin saved her before she reunited with Lie Wushuang, and meanwhile, Su Jiu’s group identified the forest’s boundary as part of a Yin-Yang Formation Disk.

• Su Jiu and the others arrived in a chamber with three bronze doors depicting a Seven-Colored Flower, a star map, and the Profound Flame Immortal Sword, while a cultivator’s attempt to strike a door rebounded and injured those nearby.

Su Jiu and her companions survived the Secret Realm, where Wei Qian fell to the Demonic Sword and Chu Luohen nearly died fighting him. After the group uncovered a demonic threat and learned the barriers would fail within decades, Su Jiu and Chu Luohen reached the Yin River Continent and found Yin Yin under attack.

• Su Jiu navigated the Secret Realm’s doors and murals, learned how its talismans preyed on greed, and received lost Void Talisman methods from a woman’s divine sense.
• Wei Qian and other cultivators were trapped by the Sword Casket, while Su Jiu’s group found the stones that formed a Teleportation Array and confronted Zhu Jie over a stolen stone.
• Su Jiu gathered eight cultivators to retrieve the golden bracelet, but Wei Qian emerged possessed by demonic qi and attacked as Chu Luohen and Si Que fought to contain him.
• Chu Luohen used the Blood Condensation Ritual against Wei Qian, and Su Jiu broke the formation and secured the bracelet before Chu Luohen was struck by demonic qi, and she evacuated the group and treated his injuries.
• Su Jiu subdued Kong Liao, who had fallen into demonhood after being possessed by a Demon Seed, and the abbot exchanged the Rebirth Bracelet and a Brightflower Pill for the group’s treasures.
• Chu Luohen recovered and advanced to the Nascent Soul Late Stage, while a Zen Sound Temple monk warned that the barriers would hold only twenty to fifty years unless the Heaven-Connecting Tower was found.
• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen traveled to the Yin River Continent, where Yin Yin and A-Yu were confronted by ghosts seeking the Soul-Draining Jade.
• Su Jiu recognized Yin Yin during the fight and rushed to help as Yin Yin drew a powerful ball of black fire away from A-Yu.
