• Su Jiu destroyed the Ghost Market attackers who targeted Yin Yin and A-Yu, then learned they suspected someone in their sect knew about the Soul-Draining Jade.

Su Jiu and her companions exposed the Nine-Tailed Chieftain’s demonic corruption, rescued the tribe, and set out for Netherworld Mountain. There, they faced wraiths and ghost cultivators while continuing to seek the Netherworld Flower.

• Shen San’s subordinate reported that the demon beasts sent after Chu Luohen and his companions had been killed, while Silver Snow reunited with Su Jiu and clashed with Chu Luohen.
• Silver Snow returned with Su Jiu and her companions to the Nine-Tailed Tribe, where they learned Yin Sang was dying and Su Jiu discovered darkness stone was draining his life force.
• Silver Snow and Yin Ze investigated the tribe’s troubles, uncovered evidence that the Chieftain was infected by a demon seed, and asked Su Jiu and her companions to help capture him.

They defeated its formation spirit and helped Gu Ningyun learn the truth about her family, but the remaining teleportation arrays were still unpredictable as the group went their separate ways.

• Su Jiu and Chu Luohen escaped the seam through a black Teleportation Array, but its violent passage left them stranded in the Spiritless Land with their powers inaccessible.
• Su Jiu carried the injured Chu Luohen across the desert and, with help from Moglis and Samo, reached Bell City, where Gu Xingzi explained that cultivators had sealed the land and drained its spiritual qi.
