Obito Uchiha planned further purges in Kirigakure while Black Zetsu warned him that a Konoha team was approaching. As an enraged intruder appeared above the Mizukage Building, Obito recognized a familiar space-time chakra and wondered where he had encountered it before.

• Obito Uchiha brooded over how Kakashi and Sasuke had made him cautious about using Kamui, then decided to purge more people in Kirigakure.
• Black Zetsu objected to Obito’s increasingly extreme plans and worried about the disruptions threatening his long-term schemes.

Karatachi Yagura detected Zabuza Momochi and another infiltration team inside the Mizukage Building, then went to confront Zabuza. The two traded accusations as their confrontation began, while ANBU fought the other intruders elsewhere in the building.
