Background

Huayue is a reincarnated Uchiha whose parents died on a mission. Their deaths inform his contempt for sending children into war and for Konoha's rhetoric surrounding the Will of Fire. 7 18

After graduating from the Ninja Academy, he and his squad are immediately assigned to the Third Great Ninja War. He is the jinchūriki of the Black Nine-Tails, Kurama, whose chakra supports Huayue's combat ability while their inner-world exchanges remain openly antagonistic and familiar. 2 18 21
