Sasuke grew up as the younger son of Uchiha Fugaku and the younger brother of Itachi. Before entering the Ninja Academy, he sought his father's recognition and privately resolved to rank first, but was hurt when Fugaku prioritized Itachi's mission over Sasuke's enrollment ceremony. 135
