Yan's second spray attack
Xiao Wu was laughing so hard she couldn't stand up straight.
Xiao Wu herself transformed into a shoe. A black cloth shoe, a woman's shoe, resting on the ground.
"Hahaha, sister, you've turned into a scallion! That's hilarious!"
Zhu Zhuqing transformed into a pillow. It was white, square, and embroidered with a small flower.
Hu Liena turned into a candle. A red one, with a wick at the top.
Qin Chuan had become a rag. Dusty and wrinkled, it hung on a clothesline.
The Xie Yue turned into a nail. Iron gray, three inches long.
Looking at her own scallion-like appearance, and then at the bizarre objects around her, Liu Erlong didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
"Hide quickly! You have one minute!" Qin Chuan's voice came from under the rag.
Everyone immediately dispersed.
A scallion, with its two tiny, invisible legs, started running around the yard.
The way it ran was hilarious. The scallion stalks swayed from side to side, the scallion leaves on top flapped wildly, and mud from the roots fell all the way down.
Liu Erlong ran a few steps and then laughed to herself; she had never had this experience before.
She is Soul Saint and the vice dean of the Shrek Academy; she always pays attention to her posture when she walks.
Now it's turned into a scallion, running wildly in an old house, with mud falling from its roots.
That's absurd.
But it was so much fun.
Liu Erlong ran to the backyard and saw the vegetable garden.
The vegetable garden was planted with all kinds of vegetables: Chinese cabbage, radishes, eggplants, and peppers, in rows and rows.
Liu Erlong plunged headfirst into the onion field.
There were already seven or eight scallions in the field. She squeezed herself in the middle, moving her scallion leaves closer to the leaves next to her.
Then copy.
One, two, three... ten scallions appeared out of nowhere, neatly planted in the soil.
Including her own and the original scallions, there were nearly twenty in total, a dense, lush green patch.
From a distance, it looks like an ordinary field of scallions.
Liu Erlong hid well and remained motionless.
Her heart was pounding, not from nervousness, but from excitement.
She hadn't experienced this feeling of hiding, this tension of waiting to be discovered, this thrill of being exposed at any moment—for many years.
The last time I had this feeling was when I was young, hiding from Soul Beast in the Star Dou Great Forest.
But that time it was truly life-threatening.
This time it's for fun.
As she played, she suddenly realized something.
Her Soul Power was surging.
It wasn't the kind of slow, flowing sensation; it was a warm current surging out from the depths of the Martial Soul. The speed was much faster than on the first floor.
Liu Erlong closed his eyes and sensed it; this speed... was about a hundred times that of meditation!
She felt incredulous, her heart racing.
Just then, a notification sounded, "Seeker enter!"
The Clown Dwarf's voice echoed in everyone's minds.
Yan landed on his feet, holding the Spray Soul Tool in his hand, and chuckled twice.
"This time I've learned my lesson! I'll sweep the vegetable garden first!"
He remembered that last time Xiao Wu turned into a carrot and hid in the vegetable garden, he found her. This time, the vegetable garden was the first place he went to.
Yan strode towards the backyard, his boots clattering on the stone slabs.
He rounded the artificial hill, and a vegetable garden came into view.
Chinese cabbage, radishes, eggplants, and peppers, planted in rows, much like last time.
Yan's gaze swept over and stopped on the green onion field.
A large patch of scallions, dense and lush, a vibrant green.
Yan walked over, squatted down, and took a look.
Onions are just onions; every single one looks pretty much the same. They're about the same height, the same thickness, and the same color.
He counted them.
Nearly twenty trees.
Yan thought to himself: Last time, Xiao Wu turned into a carrot and was stuck in the tomato field, but I recognized her at a glance. This time, if someone turns into a scallion and hides in the scallion field, it will be hard to find them.
He raised his gun and fired a burst of bullets into the onion field.
Da da da da da.
The shockwave swept past, knocking more than a dozen scallions askew.
The first one broke, a clone. The second one broke...
Seven or eight trees broke in a row; they were all clones.
Yan frowned.
He scanned another round.
Da da da.
The ninth tree broke. The tenth tree broke...
Yan's eyes lit up.
He fired another shot at the scallion.
Clatter!
A flash of white light.
Liu Erlong transformed back into human form from the onion field.
She stood in the vegetable garden, her pale white short-sleeved shirt stained with mud, and a few scallion leaves hanging from her hair.
"The Hider is out!" the Clown Dwarf announced.
Yan laughed heartily, "Sister, you hid it well! But your scallion is a whole size thicker than the one next to it!"
Liu Erlong looked down at the spot where she had just been standing.
The native scallions next to her were each about the thickness of a little finger. The one she transformed into was as thick as a thumb.
It is indeed too thick.
Liu Erlong smiled.
She was smiling broadly, not at all like someone who had been eliminated.
"This is so much fun!" she said. "Next round, I want to Seeker."
Yan continued his search.
He ran around the courtyard with a gun, firing at everything that seemed suspicious.
In the Main Residence, he swept a row of vases and spotted a random player.
In the study, he scanned the bookshelves and spotted Xie Yue. This time, Xie Yue had transformed into a book, tucked into the shelf, but its spine was a slightly darker color than the surrounding pages.
In the kitchen, he swept across the stove and pulled out Hu Liena. Hu Liena turned into a candle and was placed on the candlestick next to the stove.
Yan felt more and more connected as he searched.
He ran around the yard, firing his gun left and right, laughing every time he spotted someone.
Four minutes passed.
Qin Chuan and Zhu Zhuqing are still missing.
Yan stood in the middle of the courtyard, panting heavily.
He searched the Main Residence twice, the backyard three times, and turned the vegetable garden upside down.
Qin Chuan and Zhu Zhuqing have disappeared.
"How much time do we have left?" Yan asked.
"One minute," the Clown Dwarf replied.
Yan panicked and ran around with his gun in hand.
As he passed the clothesline, the muzzle of his gun swept across it. Several pieces of clothing and a rag were hanging on the line.
He didn't stop.
Yan ran to the Main Residence bedroom, lifted the covers, and swept them around. There were three pillows under the covers, and he shot three times at them.
The first one shattered. The second one shattered. The third one flashed with white light.
Zhu Zhuqing transformed back into human form from the pillow, sat on the bed, and looked at Yan with cold eyes.
"The Hider Zhu Zhuqing is out!"
Yan laughed, "Zhu Zhuqing! You were hiding under the covers?"
Zhu Zhuqing: "There are three pillows under the blanket, and I'm one of them. You can't see me at all unless you lift the blanket."
Yan patted his chest and said, "I knew there was something wrong under the blanket!"
Qin Chuan is left.
Thirty seconds.
Yan ran wildly in the yard.
After passing the clothesline, the gun was pointed at the clothes and sprayed.
A blue robe, shattered, a copy. A white short-sleeved shirt, shattered.
rag.
Dusty and wrinkled, hanging on the rope, it looked exactly like the real thing.
Yan's gun muzzle slid across the rag.
Who would want to turn themselves into a rag?
Ten seconds.
Five seconds.
"Time's up! The Seeker failed to find all the Hider! The Hider win!"
Qin Chuan floated down from the clothesline, and the rag transformed back into human form.
Yan stared at him, her mouth agape.
"You've become a rag?"
Qin Chuan patted his sleeves. "What's wrong with hanging a rag on the clothesline?"
Yan smacked his forehead. "I had a gun pointed at you! I thought it was just a piece of rag!"
As an observer, Liu Erlong laughed until her stomach hurt at the sight of these scenes.
Seeing Yan's frustrated reaction and Qin Chuan's innocent expression, she found the game incredibly interesting.
After the game ended, everyone gathered together, chatting and laughing.
Liu Erlong stood at the edge of the crowd, mentally calculating some figures.
