Background / History
The Blood-Robed Evil Spirit was once a girl in the human world. After death, she became a twisted amalgamation shaped by malice, hatred, and the accumulated resentment of the dead. Her evil spirit curse tormented her for more than a hundred years 26 42 43 44.
Despite her monstrous existence, she retained memories of her human life. She wondered whether, had she survived, she would have raised a daughter and lived to see grandchildren. Her distorted reflection continually reminded her that she was dead 42.
She moved into Wandering Soul Alley on the morning of her first visit to the Bloodsaw Apothecary. Although a newcomer, she quickly gained considerable authority among the alley's dark creatures, who addressed her as “Queen” 24 36.
Her diary later confirms that she originated on Blue Star. Before becoming an evil spirit, she married and had a daughter. She remembered her husband's proposal, his vows, and his apparent happiness when their child was born. Her account describes how this happiness was systematically destroyed as he became cold, drank, and tormented her—events she came to understand as part of a plan to manufacture a deranged Blood-Robed Evil Spirit 949 951.
The Flesh God Cult's Evil Spirit Project, carried out on Blue Star by the Blood Demon and Nightmare Demon, was responsible for cultivating her. The Blood Demon was promoted for nurturing an evil spirit as powerful as Lady Blood Cloak. Cultists also used the hatred released by the shattering of an evil spirit to sustain a curse intended to remain until the Blood-Robed Evil Spirit was summoned back 1146 1205.
Her human daughter died horribly at the hands of the man she blamed for her suffering. She had been unable to see the child one last time and waited a hundred years for the culprit to descend into Hell. Lynn eventually helps her confront Charles, avenge herself, and find a reason to continue living beyond that revenge 1151 1162.
Appearance
Her usual disguise is a voluptuous woman wearing a bright red evening gown, with long, wavy curls, vivid red lips, and eerily white teeth 24.
- Split face: Her mouth can tear open to her ears, exposing writhing tentacles and vicious barbs 35.
- Cursed true form: A swollen mass resembling countless human bodies ground together and stitched into one creature. Rotten hands and malicious faces emerge across its body, while its head rests on a long, serpentine neck 43.
- Restored form: Once Lynn removes the curse, she regains a pale human body with long curls. She recognizes this as her genuine body rather than a disguise assembled from flesh and blood 43.
- Post-treatment clothing: She returns downstairs wearing a red dress, retaining the hairstyle of her earlier disguise 44.
- Combat form: Her fingers grow black, blood-dripping nails approximately half a meter long, her hair becomes venomous snakes bearing human faces, and her mouth splits toward her ears. Her eyes display wild excitement and madness; during the Hunter battle, they gleam scarlet 60 77.
- Expanded aggregate form: In combat, she becomes a mass of faces and tentacles capable of tightly enveloping a large Flesh Puppet 62.
Personality
Initially, she combines seductive friendliness with predatory cruelty. She threatens to eat Lynn and later plans to break his mind before killing him. Her lack of money reflects this approach to other creatures: she explains that she previously obtained whatever she wanted by eating its owner rather than trading 24 36 44.
She is proud, vengeful, and sensitive to public humiliation. When Lynn defeats her attempts to frighten him during a livestream, she becomes increasingly furious and decides to confront him herself rather than lose face before the alley's residents 37 39.
Her attachment to beauty and motherhood survives beneath her hostility. She carefully decorates her bedroom, tends a night lily, and makes clean, freshly knitted clothes for her daughter. Although embarrassed to admit it, she prefers the Blood Infant's adorable appearance to that of her previous twisted children 42.
After her curse is removed, she apologizes sincerely to Lynn and expresses shame over her earlier malice. Her gratitude develops into affection, and she publicly praises his medical ability instead of continuing her threats 44 45 46.
Her later affection becomes protective as well as teasing. Although she initially bargains with Lynn when he requests help against the Flesh Puppet, she prevents him from leaving and intervenes herself. After their shared ordeal, she checks on him out of concern and offers to help him face the Demon Association's coming attacks 60 67 77 81.
Her combat state is marked by chaotic laughter, excitement, and diminished sanity. She returns from this frenzied, cursed state after destroying the Hunters 60 66 80.
The discovery of her tormentor rekindles overwhelming resentment, causing her to fluctuate between lucidity and madness. Lynn's promises of safety, a home, and continued companionship help her retain trust in him. After killing Charles, she cries in his arms and chooses to continue living rather than letting revenge become the end of her existence 1151 1154 1162.
Abilities & Skills
Evil Spirit Curse
Her monstrous condition is caused by an extremely high-tier curse formed from the accumulated resentment of countless dead beings 43.
- Devouring more resentment and living beings strengthens the curse and further distorts her body 43.
- The curse produces a form with numerous faces and a voice composed of many hoarse voices 43.
- Lynn's Limited-Time Curse Removal Ability extracts it into a dark rune in his palm, restoring her human body 43.
- Removal lasts approximately 24 hours. Lynn can repeat the treatment after a 12-hour cooldown; without renewed treatment, her cursed form returns 43 44.
- Only the first stage of the quest concerning her resentment is confirmed complete at the time of her initial treatment; temporary curse removal is not established as permanent purification 44.
- Her combat transformation releases curses with an almost tangible presence, producing intense cold and a sensation of madness in Lynn even when he stands behind her 60.
- Her later resurgence of hatred threatens further advancement at the cost of her reason. Lynn fears that advancing under those conditions would leave her completely consumed by malice 1141.
- Her eventual complete trust and 100% conquest progress concern her relationship with Lynn; neither is explicitly identified as permanent removal of the curse 1154 1162.
Shapeshifting and Mobility
She can abandon her human disguise and transform into blood or a specter 40.
- Dissolves into a large pool of scarlet blood, passes through the floor, and reforms downstairs 40.
- Becomes a twisted, shrieking specter while pursuing Lynn through her home 40.
- Rapidly reaches a second-floor window when she discovers Lynn in her bedroom 40.
- Moves in a red blur and intercepts two Hunters beside Lynn 77.
- Drifts upward in an octopus-like form and clings to the apothecary's shattered ceiling while preparing an ambush 77.
- Passes through a wall to confront the aged, mentally impaired Charles 1156.
Tentacles and Barbs
Tentacles emerge from her body and can develop sharp barbs 40 41.
- Surrounds Lynn with pointed tentacles when she finds him holding her daughter 40.
- Lashes the surrounding walls while venting her frustration 42.
- Uses dangling tentacles to activate mechanisms for her staged hauntings 36 38.
- Extends a tentacle into the black fog to seize Lynn and pull him back into her embrace 60.
- Drives tentacles into the ground, tears out huge boulders, and launches them fast enough to produce sound-barrier-breaking blasts 60.
- Produces tentacles that easily span hundreds of meters 62.
- Envelops the Flesh Puppet with tentacles and faces, then advances a barbed spike into its body. The spike transforms into a sharp hand that grips and pierces the creature's core 62.
Terror and Controlled Hauntings
She stages attacks intended to frighten victims before killing them 36 37 38.
- Her appearance and proximity cause measurable losses to Lynn's sanity 24 35 43.
- Commands skinless corpse puppets, first using them for intimidation and then ordering them to kill Lynn 37.
- Deploys an icy breeze and a female ghost servant when the corpse puppets fail 38.
- Her methods fail against Lynn, who destroys the puppets and frightens the ghost servant and watching audience instead 37 39.
Combat and Curse Defense
Her combat form combines supernatural speed, long claws, extensive tentacles, and curse-based attacks and defenses 60 61 62 77.
- Rapidly shreds the Flesh Puppet's flesh and initially suppresses its main body while attempting to destroy its core 61 62.
- Releases countless faces from her split mouth to neutralize the Flesh Puppet's gaze curse and shield Lynn 61.
- Clashes directly with the blades of two Hunter Type 120 biological-mechanical aggregates and ultimately tears both apart 77 80.
- Remains vulnerable to specialized adaptation: the Flesh Puppet analyzes her aggregate body and evil spirit curse, reverses her tentacle encirclement, and begins devouring and assimilating her from within 62.
Aggregate Survival and Recovery
Her nature as an evil spirit aggregate allows her to survive catastrophic fragmentation. The Flesh Puppet's attempt to consume her does not immediately destroy her entire main body 62 64.
- Lynn applies a Flesh Regeneration Potion to her nearly shattered body, causing flesh to proliferate and shrieking evil spirits to gather 64.
- Her body regenerates even while it is still being devoured, allowing Lynn and the Blood Infant to extract her with Vengeful Spirit Hair 64.
- She recovers sufficiently to observe the Flesh Puppet's destruction and carry Lynn away from its hollowed shell 65 66.
Evil Spirit Vision
She uses Evil Spirit Vision to search for Lynn inside the mutating Flesh Puppet. The vision is cut off as an unknown mutant emerges and begins consuming the organism 65.
Possession
She can possess Lynn and combine her mental power with his. His Evil Spirit Possession passive, obtained through the Evil Spirit Home achievement, nullifies the negative effects of her possession 1154 1191.
- Hands complete control of the possessed body to Lynn 1191.
- Helps restore his reason and slows his loss of sanity 1191.
- Temporarily raises Lynn's rank to Monarch during their combined state 1191.
- Combines vast spectral power with his psionics to form a protective wall around him 1191.

Equipment / Items

- Surveillance device — Watches Lynn during the haunting. He discovers it, pries it loose, and pockets it 39.
- Night lily — A well-tended white flower kept in a crude bottle on her bedroom windowsill; one of the Dark World's few nonpoisonous flowers 42.
- Handmade infant clothing — Makes a pink skirt and vest for her daughter, revealing affection she initially tries to deny 42.
- Diary — Read by Lynn, it confirms her Blue Star origin and records both her arrival in Wandering Soul Alley and her understanding of the conspiracy that turned her into an evil spirit 949 951.
Relationships
- Lynn — Initially her intended victim, then her daughter's caretaker and her own treating doctor. Removing her curse raises her favorability beyond 300; their relationship becomes intimate, and her system-recorded attitude changes from Indifferent to Fond 24 26 44 45. Fighting side by side against the Flesh Puppet brings them closer, and she becomes an active protector against the Demon Association 60 64 77 81. He later gains her complete trust, calls her his first friend in Hell, and helps her choose life after taking revenge. Her conquest progress reaches 100%, and she subsequently possesses him as a trusted combat partner 1154 1162 1191.
- Evil Spirit Blood Infant — Her daughter, formed from a fragment that fell from her body. She initially rejects the child's purity and kindness as incompatible with her own nature, but eventually accepts and cares for her 26 27 42. She hunts for nourishment for the child and entrusts her to Lynn during the Flesh Puppet battle; the infant helps rescue her mother from the puppet 59 60 64. The Flesh God Cult later captures and abuses the Blood Infant, intending to exploit Lynn's attachment to mother and daughter, before Lynn rescues her 946 948.
- Female ghost servant — Serves in her home and participates in the attempted haunting of Lynn. The servant is left trembling after Lynn turns the scare back on her 38 39 40.
- Scavenger — Her arrival interrupts the Queen's attempt to attack Lynn. The Queen withdraws rather than act while the old woman is present, although she later claims she would not fear a direct fight 35 36.
- Black Knight — A previous combat opponent. Her familiarity with his vanity makes Lynn's claim of a close relationship with him harder to dismiss 41.
- Charles / Her Former Husband — The central figure in her human suffering and eventual revenge. Her diary describes a husband whose affection gave way to cruelty as part of the plan to create her; she later confronts Charles and kills him by cutting him apart 951 1151 1156 1162.

- White Night and the Night Doctors — Assist Lynn in investigating her past and locating the culprit behind her resentment. White Night receives her at the Command Center, where she later returns with Lynn after killing Charles 1139 1155 1162.
