Ch. 2181Chaos disintegrates!

Lynn disrupted the laws sustaining the Chaos Being and caused the Misfortune Engine to collapse. As the Chaos Being tried to warn the Heavenly Father, Aivier blocked the message and struck the engine, accelerating its destruction.

  • Lynn used Firstborn power to disrupt the laws of reincarnation within the Misfortune Engine.
  • The Chaos Being’s control over his power weakened as the damaged laws triggered a chain reaction throughout the engine.
  • The Chaos Being attacked Lynn, but Lynn survived inside the Turtle-Shell Box and continued to taunt him.
  • The Chaos Being tried to send a warning to the Heavenly Father, but Aivier intercepted the message.
  • Aivier struck the collapsing uterine core, hastening the Misfortune Engine’s destruction.

Ch. 2182The God of Flesh!

Lynn destroyed the Chaos Being’s will by breaking its Misfortune Engine, then escaped with a fragment bearing complex laws of reincarnation. By reading a surviving imprint in the fragment, he learned that his enemy had been an offspring of the Flesh God sent from the Shattered World to verify something in Chaos Deep Space.

  • Lynn emerged from the Chaos Being after its will was destroyed, and he, Clown, and Aivier fled as its chaotic power drifted toward them.
  • Lynn explained that the Misfortune Engine had persisted through repeated destruction and rebirth in chaos, then revealed that he had salvaged a fragment of it.
  • Lynn exposed the fragment’s intricate law inscriptions and detected a surviving trace of the defeated being’s will.
  • Lynn used Firstborn Power to read the imprint and saw that the being had hatched from the Flesh God and been sent to verify something in Chaos Deep Space.
  • Lynn learned that the being and its siblings had become Misfortune Engines at the Nether Sea’s border, but only this one had survived the others’ destruction.

Ch. 2183To the Abyss!

Lynn and his companions learned that the God of Flesh's offspring had been experimenting with becoming Chaos Beings, raising fears that the Polluters could threaten the Main Universe. After several days in the Edge World, Aivier found a route to the Abyss and prepared to take Lynn to its entrance.

  • Lynn crushed the Will Fragment after learning that the God of Flesh's offspring had been experimenting with controlling Chaos Beings.
  • In the Shattered World, the God of Flesh sensed his offspring's death and responded with anger, killing Polluters with his power.
  • Lynn and his companions returned to the Edge World, where Aivier suggested seeking help from the Reincarnation God-King, but Lynn doubted he would join them.
  • Aivier investigated the Nether Sea entrances while Lynn studied the Misfortune Engine fragment and the Flesh Ark in his Strange Otherworld.
  • On the fifth day, Aivier told Lynn she had found a route to the Abyss and explained that its entrance lay along a tributary at the edge of the Main Universe.

Ch. 2184The Frontier Zone!

Lynn and his companions entered the Main Universe, where its defense line violently rejected Chaos Beings but showed an unusual affinity for Lynn. Aivier agreed to help Lynn establish a foothold in the Abyss, then admitted she knew little about how the defense line had been created.

  • Lynn and his companions crossed into the Main Universe, where its rejection response destabilized Clown and Aivier.
  • Lynn sent Clown back to his Strange Otherworld to recover, then brought the Self-Binding Angel out after they left the Chaos Frontier.
  • The Self-Binding Angel recognized Aivier as the King's daughter, and Aivier identified her as the previous generation’s witch and an Archangel.
  • Aivier offered to help Lynn establish a foothold in the Abyss and said she would wait in the Edge World while he strengthened himself.
  • As they traveled upstream through the Main Universe, its laws rejected Aivier while responding readily to Lynn.
  • Lynn asked Aivier how the defense line worked, and she said she had studied it but knew little about its origins.

Ch. 2185The Sea of Mists!

Lynn and Aivier entered the Sea of Mists to reach the Abyss and investigate the ancient defense line, but the mist separated them and confronted them with visions of their deepest fears. Lynn recognized his vision as an illusion, while Aivier and the Self-Binding Angel remained lost in the mist.

  • Lynn explained that he wanted to study the Main Universe's ancient stellar defense mechanism and use it against the Polluters, then headed toward the Abyss with Aivier.
  • Lynn and his companions crossed into the Sea of Mists, where Aivier warned that the strange mist could confuse travelers and make them see things.
  • The Self-Binding Angel saw a vision of her former sisters accusing her of abandoning them as the black temple and burning plaza of the First Abyss Plane appeared around her.
  • Lynn lost sight of the Self-Binding Angel, then grabbed what seemed to be Aivier's wrist and saw a ruined, chaos-ravaged version of her.
  • Lynn saw Dark Night City collapsing in an apocalyptic vision and realized that the mist was showing him an illusion.

Ch. 2186Silence everywhere he looked!

Lynn crossed the Sea of Mists and found the First Abyss Plane completely deserted, then warped through a starless Main Universe. He finally spotted a dim star orbiting a planet that looked exactly like Blue Star.

  • Lynn resisted the Sea of Mists’ vision of apocalypse and searched the mist for the Matriarch, Aivier, Zuo Zuo, and Clown, but received no response.
  • Lynn reached the First Abyss Plane, searched the Demon Lord’s castle, and found no one, even after breaking open the Demon Gate.
  • Lynn raced across the empty First Abyss Plane and shattered space with the laws, but found no sign that he had escaped an illusion.
  • Lynn plunged through the Abyss’s spatial nexus and emerged in a Main Universe where every direction was dark and starless.
  • Lynn warped through the void until he found a dim star orbiting a planet that he recognized as Blue Star.

Ch. 2187Was this really an illusion?

Lynn explored a desolate Blue Star covered in gravestones bearing the names of his loved ones, then tried to escape what he believed was an illusion. Remnants of the Past revealed that the world had a real history and showed Lynn himself erecting the graves before dying among them.

  • Lynn found Blue Star transformed into a wasteland of gravestones bearing the names of his family and friends, including Big Brother Awen and Zuo Zuo.
  • Lynn denounced the vision as an illusion and searched the universe for a way out, but even his firstborn power could not break free.
  • Lynn failed to use the time laws, then returned to Big Brother Awen's grave and cast Remnants of the Past.
  • Lynn saw a white-haired, one-armed version of himself spend decades building the gravestones before lying down among them and singing as he died.

Ch. 2188This was the wrong path

Lynn uncovered a skeleton that appeared to be his own and used Remnants of the Past to follow the boy’s history back to a hidden stretch of void. He found a dark expanse of water filled with shattered divine sparks and a boulder inscribed with the words, “This is... the wrong path.”

  • Lynn dug up a skeleton wearing a Monocle and sensed despair resonating from its bones, leading him to suspect the place might be another reality.
  • Lynn used Remnants of the Past to watch the boy who looked like him return the star and Blue Star to their orbits before burying himself on Blue Star.
  • Lynn followed the boy’s trail to an unusual region of void in the Main Universe and forced open a rift with firstborn power.
  • Lynn stepped into a dark expanse of water he had visited before and found shattered divine sparks scattered around a massive boulder.
  • Lynn read the words carved into the boulder: “This is... the wrong path.”

Ch. 2189There Can Only Be One Firstborn!

Lynn touched a boulder and witnessed the memories of another Lynn, who had followed the path of the Firstborn and lost to Sleeper. The other Lynn left an epitaph explaining that becoming a Firstborn removed the Violet Great Lord’s last hold on the calamity.

  • Lynn found Divine Spark fragments and sensed a lingering consciousness in the boulder bearing his own handwriting.
  • The memory revealed that the other Lynn’s life diverged after the Dark Night City Calamity, when Clown survived and the Violet Great Lord’s Personality awakened within him.
  • The other Lynn gathered Divine Sparks, conquered Hell, united the Main Universe, and became powerful enough to challenge Sleeper.
  • After being defeated, the other Lynn fused the entire Main Universe into himself and entered Chaos Deep Space with Painter to fight Sleeper again.
  • Sleeper defeated them, devoured Painter, and destroyed the Main Universe; the other Lynn realized the Violet Great Lord was still resisting inside Sleeper and that becoming a Firstborn had removed his anchor.

Ch. 2190What lay in the future!

Lynn learned that another version of himself had become a Firstborn and helped push the world toward apocalypse. As he waited for this universe’s impending destruction, time abruptly froze, and he heard Zuo Zuo calling to him.

  • Lynn left the tomb after hearing the other version of himself describe becoming a Firstborn and driving the world toward apocalypse.
  • Lynn wondered whether the other version’s history belonged to another timeline and whether the Violet Great Lord was still alive in his own reality.
  • The Main Universe contracted and destabilized, so Lynn returned to Blue Star and decided to wait for the apocalypse.
  • Over the next two years, the Main Universe shrank to less than a galaxy, and its laws began collapsing.
  • As the universe started breaking apart, time froze, and Lynn heard Zuo Zuo urgently calling to him.
  • Lynn sensed that time had been forcibly paused just before the apocalypse and questioned what lay in the future.

Ch. 2191The Figure Standing at the End of Time!

Lynn broke through the imprisoned flow of time and glimpsed a figure standing at its end before the River of Time swept him back into reality. After waking in the Nether Sea, he reunited with Zuo Zuo and wondered whether his vision had been real.

  • Lynn poured his firstborn power into the laws of time and forced open a crack in the barrier.
  • Lynn saw a hazy figure blocking the River of Time's onward flow, then lost consciousness as the tide swept him away.
  • Lynn woke after Zuo Zuo repeatedly slapped him, hugged her, and then bit her fingers in retaliation.
  • Lynn confirmed that he had returned to his reality and asked Zuo Zuo what had happened.
  • Zuo Zuo said the Nether Sea had bewitched Lynn's mind and that she had escaped while he remained trapped.

Ch. 2192The High Tower in the Nether Sea!

Lynn explored a region of the Nether Sea where the laws and time were severely disrupted, then discovered an ancient tower tied to the Nether Sea’s creation. There, he found the Nether Sea’s Blueprint and wondered whether the tower caused the region’s anomalies.

  • Lynn examined the chaotic laws and detected a faint disturbance in time.
  • Lynn and Zuo Zuo followed the worst of the disruption until the mist cleared and revealed an ancient tower in an ocean.
  • Lynn recognized the tower from the Violet Great Lord’s memories and explained that the Great Lord had once stayed there.
  • Lynn climbed to the top of the tower and found the Nether Sea’s Blueprint still engraved on its wall.
  • Lynn questioned whether the tower was connected to the region’s disrupted laws.

Ch. 2193The Shattered River of Time!

Lynn discovered that the laws of space and time were badly disrupted in the anomalous region, and his attempts to travel upstream through time met a powerful obstruction. He saw a second, frozen River of Time shatter, then arrived eight thousand years in the past as the Time War began.

  • Lynn found that portals to his System Space and the Strange Otherworld misaligned in the turbulent region.
  • Lynn repeatedly tried to travel upstream through the River of Time, but a powerful impact threw his consciousness back.
  • Lynn briefly observed two Rivers of Time converging at a point a few hours in the past, where he had earlier entered an illusory realm.
  • Lynn saw that the second River of Time was frozen, then watched it shatter from its distant future into countless points of light.
  • Lynn suffered severe backlash, but his next attempt carried him into the body of a raven eight thousand years in the past, where the Time War had begun.

Ch. 2194Reunited!!

After encountering strange temporal anomalies near the High Tower, Lynn suspected that a future version of himself might be manipulating timelines. He reunited with the Matriarch and Aivier in the Sea of Mists, only to learn that several days had passed while he thought he had been gone for a few hours.

  • Lynn failed to find the temporal contact again and suspected that someone at the end of time was cutting off and examining timelines, perhaps his future self.
  • Lynn left the High Tower after finding little useful information, but briefly saw a seated figure beneath it before the tower vanished into the mist.
  • Lynn rushed through the Sea of Mists and found the Matriarch and Aivier, who had been searching for him for days.
  • The Matriarch struck Lynn in the groin in relief and anger, while Aivier checked that he was safe.
  • Lynn learned that several days had passed for the Matriarch and Aivier, and concluded that something had gone wrong with time.

Ch. 2195The First Abyss Plane!

Lynn, Aivier, and the Self-Binding Angel escaped the time-warping Sea of Mists and reached the First Abyss Plane, formerly the Demon Plane. Aivier transformed into a blue dragon and carried Lynn and the Self-Binding Angel toward a castle that might hold her father's legacy.

  • Lynn told Aivier and the Self-Binding Angel that less than ten minutes had passed in the Main Universe while they were inside the Sea of Mists, though their journey had felt much longer.
  • The three emerged from the Sea of Mists and set foot on the First Abyss Plane beneath a blood-red moon.
  • The Self-Binding Angel explained that the land had once been the Demon Plane, where countless demons had lived under the Demon Lord's rule.
  • Aivier said she would lead Lynn to a castle where he might reclaim some of her father's legacy, then transformed into a blue dragon.
  • Lynn and the Self-Binding Angel climbed onto Aivier, and she took off; when Lynn joked about riding her, Aivier nearly threw him off.

Ch. 2196The unreachable blood moon!

Lynn, Aivier, and the Self-Binding Angel flew through the First Abyss Plane toward its blood moon, while Aivier’s stories revealed the mundane truth behind the Demon Lord’s legendary image. As they tried to approach the strangely oversized moon, they found themselves unable to get closer and Lynn ordered them to turn back.

  • Aivier told the Self-Binding Angel that Lynn had made the blood moon as decoration and that the Demon Lord’s legendary balcony vigil came from leaving his body standing there.
  • Lynn tried to comfort the Self-Binding Angel by comparing his own majesty to the Demon Lord’s, but shattered the last of her idealized image.
  • Aivier and the Self-Binding Angel noticed that the blood moon looked unnaturally large and gave off eerie ripples, so Lynn told Aivier to fly closer.
  • The group realized that flying toward the moon brought them no closer and that the landscape below them kept repeating.
  • Lynn sensed no distortion in space or other obvious abnormality, then ordered Aivier to turn back.

Ch. 2197A land of mystery!

Aivier, Lynn, and the Self-Binding Angel overcame the unreachable blood moon by following the resonance of Lynn’s firstborn power. They arrived at the land beneath it and found a vast field of angel, demon, and aberrant corpses before the distant castle.

  • Aivier returned to the Sea of Mists and attacked the blood moon with chaotic power when it remained beyond their reach.
  • Lynn sensed his firstborn power resonating with the blood moon and guided Aivier as she attacked and advanced toward it.
  • Aivier surrounded the group with chaos while Lynn released golden firstborn power, and they charged through the blood moon.
  • Lynn, the Self-Binding Angel, and Aivier arrived beneath the blood moon, where they saw corpses covering the land before a distant castle.

Ch. 2198War beneath the Blood Moon!

Lynn, Aivier, and the Self-Binding Angel entered an isolated battlefield beneath the Blood Moon, where Polluters attacked a castle defended by angels and demons. Aivier’s Blue Dragon form turned the battle around, and the defenders recognized her as the Demon Lord’s daughter.

  • Lynn noticed that the Blood Moon realm had severed his connection to the outside and altered the laws around them.
  • Aivier identified the black fortress as her father's castle in the First Plane, while Polluters and the castle's defenders began a massive battle.
  • Aivier and the Self-Binding Angel flew toward the battlefield to help the defenders.
  • When aberrant dragons breached the castle's defenses, Aivier crushed one, tore apart another, and burned most of the Polluter army with her dragon breath.
  • The castle's angels recognized Aivier and greeted her as Your Highness.

Ch. 2199Time invasion!

Lynn and Aivier fought off a temporal invasion by sealing a rift, only to discover that another rift had opened above the Castle. A black-armored knight hovered over the Castle as it was destroyed beneath the Blood Moon.

  • Aivier noticed that the angels and demons on the battlefield were acting as if their minds were clouded.
  • Lynn sensed a Time War invasion as a rift opened above the hills and temporal Archdemons emerged, freezing nearby armies in time.
  • Aivier broke free of the temporal stagnation and battled the Archdemons while Lynn rushed to seal their rift with his Firstborn Power.
  • Lynn closed the rift, causing the Archdemons to crumble and vanish, then saw a second rift above the Castle.
  • A black-armored knight hovered over the Castle as it exploded and countless angels burst apart.

Ch. 2200Back to the beginning!

After the Blood Moon flared, Lynn, Aivier, and the Self-Binding Angel awoke back at the beginning of the battle, while retaining their memories. Lynn and Aivier headed for the Castle to investigate the strange reset, and the chapter ended with the angels recognizing them and escorting them inside.

  • Lynn warned Aivier that a second wave was coming, but the Blood Moon erupted as the figure at the Castle shattered its gate, freezing everything before Lynn blacked out.
  • Lynn, Aivier, and the Self-Binding Angel awoke where they had first entered, with the Castle intact but the battlefield still bearing signs of their previous fighting.
  • Lynn noticed that both armies had returned and that an angel killed in the earlier battle was alive again, while the altered battlefield suggested time had not simply reversed.
  • Lynn told Aivier to head to the Castle and hold its position rather than advance, and they saw that the battle and the Bone Dragons' movements had changed.
  • The Castle's angels recognized Lynn and Aivier and said the Angel Chief had ordered an escort, while the Bone Dragons attacked them.
  • Aivier destroyed the attacking Bone Dragons, then joined the angels and flew with them toward the Castle without entering the battle.
