A streak of golden light kicked the dragon squarely in the head.
Infused with Haki and accelerated to light speed, the kick made Kaido's dragon head shudder, sending his body flying helplessly off course.
But his enormous dragon body swung around, crashing toward Enel.
Borsalino dissolved into golden motes, reformed beside Enel, and grabbed his shoulder with one hand.
A cross-shaped light flickered and spun at a finger on his other hand.
Whoosh-
The gathered Laser Beam instantly pierced the lightning chain connecting Enel to Kaido, then erupted in a violent explosion.
The explosion tore through the lightning chain from within.
The enormous dragon body swept across the ground toward them, sending shattered stones flying into their faces.
But none of that mattered anymore.
With a flash of gold and lightning, they vanished from the spot.
They appeared atop the skull-shaped Palace on Onigashima.
Borsalino glanced at Enel.
"Ooh, how scary~"
"You almost died there~"
Still shaken, Enel wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.
"Ah-"
"Yeah."
"Thanks."
"But what brought you here?"
Borsalino scratched his chin.
"Well, I..."
Elsewhere.
Kaido's face was grim.
He returned to human form and walked over, carrying Hassaikai.
There was nothing he could do now. With Enel free of the chains, catching him was out of the question, and every arms factory on the island had been destroyed...
He narrowed his eyes at Enel and Borsalino.
"What an eyesore..."

His Den Den Mushi rang. The moment Kaido answered, King's voice came through.
"Kaido!"
"Marine Admiral Kizaru discovered our plan!"
"I'm af-"
Kaido cut him off impatiently.
"I know."

Both men had clearly heard the voice coming from Kaido's Den Den Mushi.
Borsalino said leisurely,
"Looks like I was a
