When ten dragon shadows attacked Old Dragon City, Xu summoned Ancient Buddha Kasyapa, who released the Human Sovereign Sword before vanishing; the group then prepared to find Li Yezhu, but Su Chan attacked them near the Golden Court Grotto-Heaven.

• Li Yezhu hired the Azure-Eyed Evil Lord to capture Zhang Wuyou and Xu Taiping, but the Evil Lord attacked Cloudrise Tower instead and Xu revealed that he knew the Evil Lord as Li Daoyan.
• Xu Taiping showed Li Daoyan Zhu Songyu’s Jade Slip, and Li Daoyan learned that his master and fellow disciples had died after he failed to join them.
• Xu Taiping explained that Zhu Songyu had asked Li Daoyan to kill the demon opening a passage from the Tenth Demon Abyss, and Li Daoyan agreed to face it in Golden Court Grotto-Heaven.

Xu Taiping and the cultivators fought Su Chan’s demon powers, then entered the Golden Court Inner Grotto-Heaven to confront the threat consuming its laws. In the Green Bamboo Sea, Zhao Mou betrayed Kong Pearl Relic, and Xu Taiping and the others fought to counter his Creation Power.

• Xu Taiping and Cloud Crane True Lord fought waves of Shadow Demons until Cloud Crane True Lord’s talisman forced Taotie from underground, where it spawned Infant Ghosts.
