Ch. 162Turning Everything Cancerous

Brad rewrote Earth-10011 into the Cancerverse, then used Mar-Vell’s terminal illness and jealousy to make him accept the Elder God’s blessing. Mar-Vell spread that blessing across Earth, triggering violent mutations among civilians as the superheroes were revealed to have fallen first.

  • Brad reshaped the universe around him into the Cancerverse and ordered the Main Camp Base Brads to update its files.
  • Brad learned that Mar-Vell was dying and visited him in the hospital after the timequake had altered everyone’s memories.
  • Brad awakened Mar-Vell’s jealousy with the Original Sin Virus and persuaded him to become a believer in exchange for eternal life.
  • Brad left the hospital as the superheroes gathered around Mar-Vell, who appeared close to death.
  • Mar-Vell announced that he shared the Elder God’s blessing with everyone, causing civilians across Earth to mutate while the superheroes had already fallen.

Ch. 163The Council of Reeds

Brad uncovered the Creator’s identity and learned that the Council of Reeds had been secretly rebuilt under the Ultimate Universe Reed Richards’s control. The Creator and his council gathered before Brad and raised his surveillance priority as Brad’s Future Sight revealed the council’s history.

  • Brad seized the spacetime communicator from the corrupted Mister Fantastic and identified its hidden owner as the Creator, Reed Richards of the Ultimate Universe.
  • The Creator told Brad that he had been promoted to the Council of Reeds’ second-highest surveillance priority.
  • The Creator summoned Reed Richardses from across the Multiverse, and they introduced themselves as the Council of Reeds.
  • Brad’s Future Sight revealed that the Creator had secretly undermined the original Council of Reeds after it rejected him.
  • After Mister Fantastic of Earth-616 dissolved the council and erased its members’ memories, the Creator and Kang cut that moment from time and formed a new council under the Creator’s control.

Ch. 164At last, the God Emperor

Brad realized the supposed Creator was not the real Ultimate Reed, but an observation target of the Council of Reeds, and Doctor Doom appeared to explain the larger conflict. The chapter ended with Brad asking why the Creator had spared Doom after killing the other Dooms.

  • The Creator showed Brad that he had captured Skynet and Hemen and claimed Brad was only an experimental subject in his universe.
  • Brad deduced that the Creator was not Ultimate Reed because the real Reed would not waste time speaking to someone he considered insignificant.
  • God Emperor Doom appeared and said Skynet and Hemen were imprisoned with him in Ultimate Reed's prison.
  • Doom revealed that he had given Brad his Future Sight and explained that the Council of Reeds had once imprisoned Dooms from countless universes.
  • Doom confirmed that the Creator had killed every Doom except him, and Brad asked why Doom had been spared.

Ch. 165I hold grudges

Brad learned from God Emperor Doom why Earth-616’s rules kept him out and heard that Doom had secretly shaped his development to help overthrow the Creator. Furious at having his life manipulated, Brad left the Cancerverse and confronted the Watcher to demand two punches.

  • God Emperor Doom explained that Earth-616’s Reed Richards and Ultimate Reed had imposed rules that blocked Brad from entering Earth-616, while Kang could enter because of his unusual connection to the main universe’s future.
  • Doom described two theories about Kang and revealed that he had tracked Brad, placed magic-suppressing shackles on him, and guided his growth alongside Skynet and Hemen.
  • Brad angrily accused Doom of arranging his life, but Doom argued that he had shielded Brad from Ultimate Reed’s attention so Brad could keep developing.
  • Brad ended contact with Doom, left the Cancerverse, and found the Watcher’s hiding place between universes.
  • Brad demanded that the Watcher let him punch him twice, and the Watcher reluctantly offered his face.

Ch. 166Join us

Demon Archbishop Mar-Vell sent corrupted superheroes to recruit their former comrades for the Elder Gods. Spider-Man and Logan faced attacks from friends whose minds had been taken over.

  • Mar-Vell recovered his strength, revealed his allegiance to the Elder Gods, and ordered corrupted superheroes to bring others into their ranks.
  • Aunt May transformed and attacked Peter Parker, who bound her with webbing before leaving to seek help from the Avengers.
  • Spider-Man encountered Iron Fist, whose glowing red eyes revealed his corruption, and Iron Fist attacked him.
  • Cyclops attacked Logan with a crimson energy beam after telling him to join them.
  • Jean Grey and Wanda appeared with blood-red eyes and urged Logan to join them.

Ch. 167A mysterious communication

The Elder God's corruption spread rapidly through the Cancerverse, infecting its major heroes and threatening to contaminate the multiverse through the Web of Life and Destiny. The Master Weaver and other multiversal guardians sent warnings to Earth-616, though the Reed Council intercepted only some of them.

  • Reed Richards lured the Fantastic Four to the Baxter Building and infected Johnny, Susan, and Ben after becoming corrupted himself.
  • Professor X used his brainwave amplifier to restrain Jean Grey, Wanda, and the infected mutants, but a silver figure removed the amplifier and Jean corrupted him.
  • Spider-Man defeated Iron Fist but was surrounded by the infected Avengers; despite resisting the Elder God's magic, he became a six-armed monster.
  • Brad observed the Cancerverse's infection spreading as a diversion for a concealed operation, while Doctor Doom helped hide the real plan.
  • The Master Weaver stopped the Cancerverse's corruption from spreading further across the Web of Life and Destiny and warned Earth-616's Spider-Man.
  • Other multiversal guardians contacted people in Earth-616, while the Reed Council intercepted only some of their messages.

Ch. 168Spider-Man of the Main Universe

The Guardians of the Galaxy debated whether Earth had fallen to the universe-wide infection, and Star-Lord chose to seek out Thanos instead of going there. On Earth-616, Spider-Man received a warning from the Master Weaver about a multiversal crisis and traveled through a portal to ask Spider-Men from other universes about him.

  • Groot threatened the Guardians and offered Rocket access to his collected treasures in exchange for an apology.
  • Rocket wondered whether people on Earth had turned into monsters, and Star-Lord decided the Guardians would find Thanos rather than risk going to Earth.
  • The Master Weaver warned Peter Parker that a multiversal crisis had begun in the place formerly designated Multiverse-10011.
  • Peter left the Daily Bugle, went home, and found his Interdimensional Traversal Device.
  • Spider-Man activated the device and leaped through a portal into the Space Tunnel.

Ch. 169Different memories

Peter Parker from the main universe encountered Miles Morales in the Ultimate Universe and asked about the Master Weaver, whose warning he remembered despite having no memory of the Inheritors crisis. Miles suspected Peter’s memories were unusual and returned with a dimensional travel wristband, revealing that the origins of their identical devices remained unknown.

  • Peter Parker emerged from a portal, collided with Miles Morales, and the two fell into a park before swinging away together.
  • Peter asked Miles about the Master Weaver, and Miles was shocked that Peter remembered the name but not their past battle against the Inheritors.
  • Miles recalled how the Spider-Men had defeated the Inheritors and helped Karn become the new Master Weaver.
  • Miles suggested finding other Spider-Men to see whether Peter was the only one with missing memories, then left to get a dimensional travel wristband.
  • Miles returned with a wristband matching Peter’s, and they realized both devices had been made by the same unknown person.

Ch. 170Time Out of Sync

Peter Parker arrived on Earth-65 with Miles Morales, but he could not remember the Master Weaver or Silk, prompting Gwen Stacy to strike him. Peter’s memories came from 2014, and he began recounting an earlier assassination crisis involving liquid-metal robots.

  • Miles Morales asked Gwen Stacy whether she remembered the Master Weaver, and Peter admitted that he did not.
  • Gwen Stacy slapped Peter and angrily blamed him for forgetting Silk, who had died fighting the Inheritors.
  • Peter explained that he might be from a different time period, and Miles learned that Peter’s year was 2014.
  • Peter recalled investigating a wave of assassinations with Daredevil, the Punisher, and other heroes, while the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. also pursued the attackers.
  • Peter described how he stopped an assassin’s teleportation with a device from Mister Fantastic, revealing that the assassins were liquid-metal robots.

Ch. 171Brave Spider-Man

Peter Parker explained how the Avengers traced the Liquid Robots to Skynet and destroyed its production facility, then realized that the pasts and futures of his universe and those of Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy had been altered. The three Spider-people traveled to the Cancerverse to investigate the multiverse crisis, where Brad watched them arrive.

  • Peter recalled how the Avengers discovered that the Liquid Robots were T-1000s produced by Skynet, which had been ordered to infiltrate worlds for Hydra and eliminate anyone who resisted.
  • The Avengers destroyed Skynet's metal continent after its artificial intelligence failed to provide more information.
  • Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy were shocked that they had no memories of the events Peter described, and Peter concluded that time had been altered across multiple universes.
  • Peter shared the coordinates from the Master Weaver with Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, and the three Spider-people opened a Portal to the Cancerverse.
  • Brad watched the three Spider-people arrive on Earth in the Cancerverse and wondered whether anyone could stop Earth-616's people from leaving.

Ch. 172A Covert Maneuver

Peter, Miles, and Gwen entered a darkened Aunt May’s house in the Cancerverse and became separated in its seemingly endless interior. As Peter struggled to find his way, Brad watched him and tried to scan the Space-Time Travel Bracelet, discovering that technology from the main universe resisted his understanding.

  • Miles, Peter, and Gwen identified the deserted neighborhood as Queens and went to Aunt May’s house to search for this universe’s Spider-Man.
  • Gwen spotted a figure watching them from a window, and Peter smashed the glass and rushed inside, followed by Miles and Gwen.
  • The house plunged the Spider-People into darkness, and Miles and Gwen lost track of Peter before moving deeper inside together.
  • Peter pursued the retreating figure through an interior that seemed to stretch for thousands of meters, and his webs gave him no way to map it.
  • Brad watched Peter from outside the darkness and scanned his Space-Time Travel Bracelet, realizing that main-universe technology was difficult for him to understand.

Ch. 173The annihilation of the space pirates

Brad deciphered the main universe’s Space-Time Travel Bracelet technology and sent Peter Parker back to the Cancerverse, while reflecting on the Creator’s control of the Multiverse. The Guardians of the Galaxy found Thanos amid the wreckage of his forces, only to discover he was still alive and had mistaken them for enemies.

  • Brad recorded the Space-Time Travel Bracelet’s technology, sent Peter Parker back to the Cancerverse, and considered the Creator’s plans for the Multiverse.
  • The Guardians of the Galaxy entered Thanos’s forbidden territory and found wrecked ships where demonized pirates had apparently attacked their uninfected comrades.
  • The Guardians found Thanos sitting atop his damaged ship beside an alien corpse and believed he had died fighting the infection.
  • Thanos revived and hurled his Glaive at the Guardians’ spaceship, but Drax knocked it away with his axe.
  • Thanos recognized the Guardians and sank back into his seat, saying he had thought he missed a few.

Ch. 174Information from Thanos

Drax and the Guardians of the Galaxy found Thanos badly wounded after he fought the Corrupted, and they treated him while asking about the spreading threat. Thanos explained how the corruption had reached the Skrulls and his own forces, leaving the Guardians with a warning about the power behind it.

  • Drax confronted Thanos, who rose from Cull Obsidian’s corpse and admitted he was wounded.
  • Star-Lord asked Thanos about the corruption, and Thanos revealed that the Corrupted had come for him.
  • Mantis treated Thanos while Drax allowed the Guardians to help him.
  • Thanos said the Death Goddess had warned him of a universe-threatening catastrophe, and Supergiant had tracked changes among the Shi'ar and Skrulls.
  • Thanos recounted that the Corrupted killed the Skrull queen, infected Supergiant, and sent a warning that they wanted the Death Goddess.
  • Thanos’s forces began to succumb to corruption, and Ebony Maw became a puppet of the Elder God almost immediately.

Ch. 175A place of horrors

Thanos broke free of Ebony Maw’s control and killed the corrupted members of the Black Order, but the Guardians of the Galaxy arrived as the Avengers of Vengeance and the E X-Men opened a portal to his location. Elsewhere, Peter Parker reunited with Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy in a dark, disorienting space, and they prepared to find a way out.

  • Ebony Maw and the corrupted Black Order attacked Thanos, who escaped Maw’s mental control and killed Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, and Cull Obsidian.
  • The Guardians of the Galaxy arrived and learned that someone on Earth had ordered Ebony Maw to bring Thanos there.
  • A portal opened near Thanos, revealing the Avengers of Vengeance and the E X-Men gathering on the other side.
  • Peter Parker woke in a dark space and found Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy after they had searched for him using the Web-Tracking Technique.
  • Peter Parker urged Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy to leave the strange space.

Ch. 176Leaving

Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, and Peter escaped the dark house, but Peter returned through a Portal and found himself with Aunt May, apparently forgetting his friends. Meanwhile, the Guardians of the Galaxy fled with an injured Thanos as demonized pursuers chased them through space.

  • Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, and Peter escaped the eerie house and decided to contact the superhero organizations in their worlds for help.
  • Gwen Stacy left through her Portal, but Peter closed his Portal back to the main universe after Miles Morales called to him.
  • Peter found Aunt May knitting in her room and treated his memories of Miles and Gwen as a fading dream.
  • The Guardians of the Galaxy took the wounded Thanos aboard their spaceship to prevent the demonized from using him in a ritual to summon the Goddess of Death.
  • Rocket Raccoon piloted the Guardians' ship as demonized superheroes, including Thor, pursued them through space.

Ch. 177Chaotic but effective

The Guardians of the Galaxy escaped Corrupted Thor’s pursuit, then captured Corrupted Doctor Strange and tried to free him from his corruption. Mantis entered Strange’s mind but found his astral form sealed inside an unbreakable blood-red cocoon, and an unknown voice told her she needed magic to free him.

  • Rocket Raccoon piloted the ship away from the corrupted pursuers while the Guardians reacted to Corrupted Thor’s horrifying appearance.
  • Mar-Vell restrained Corrupted Thor from Earth and ordered another vengeance squad to bring him Thanos.
  • Corrupted Doctor Strange and Namor entered the ship through a Portal, but Groot, Drax, and Mantis subdued them and Mantis closed the Portal.
  • Star-Lord asked Mantis to try to undo Doctor Strange’s corruption, and she entered his mental world after blocking his bite with her sock.
  • Mantis found Doctor Strange’s astral form trapped inside a blood-red cocoon that she could not cut, and an unknown voice said she needed magic to free him.

Ch. 178Agamotto

Agamotto revealed himself to Mantis inside Doctor Strange’s Mind Space and offered a spell to contact a Doctor Strange from another universe who might be able to cure the corrupted Strange. Mantis asked about the other corrupted people, but Agamotto said they could not be saved.

  • Mantis mistook Agamotto’s voice for Doctor Strange’s and asked him to teach her a spell.
  • Agamotto introduced himself as the Vishanti and explained that he was trapped in Strange’s Mind Space after Strange was rapidly corrupted by the Eye Demon.
  • Agamotto explained that the Guardians of the Galaxy had restrained Strange instead of killing him, and that Strange had noticed his presence.
  • Agamotto offered to teach Mantis a spell to contact the Doctor Strange of the Main Universe, who might be able to cure this Strange.
  • Mantis asked whether the other corrupted people could be saved, and Agamotto told her they could not.

Ch. 179A super-sized leap in seniority

Agamotto’s history with the Vishanti and his care for Kamar-Taj explained how his magic reached Mantis in another universe. Mantis contacted Earth-616’s Doctor Strange to ask him to rescue that universe’s corrupted Doctor Strange.

  • Agamotto joined Oshtur and Hoggoth after stepping down as Sorcerer Supreme, forming the Vishanti, who opposed Set and Chthon and helped guide humanity.
  • The Vishanti focused their attention on the Primordial Universe, later designated Earth-616, and Agamotto continued to protect the Sorcerer Supremes and Kamar-Taj across the Multiverse.
  • Agamotto’s lively fragment of mental power persuaded Mantis to learn his magic, and she mastered a spell for contacting Doctor Strange in Earth-616.
  • Doctor Strange received Mantis’s message while drinking tea with Black Panther, T’Challa, and struggled to understand her request.
  • Doctor Strange and T’Challa worked out that Mantis was Agamotto’s magical successor in her universe and was asking him to save that universe’s Doctor Strange from demonic corruption.

Ch. 180Skynet's combat power (two chapters in one)

Doctor Strange left the Main Universe to confront demonic corruption, while the Creator investigated unusual departures and discovered that someone had rewritten Earth-10011’s reality. As he opened the Chaos Cage, he recalled Skynet’s multiversal power and her defeat, then peered inside at its three prisoners.

  • Doctor Strange opened a water portal and left the Main Universe to handle a universe corrupted by the Eye Demon.
  • The Creator examined recent departures by Doctor Strange, Tony Stark, and Peter Parker, then detected artificial changes to Earth-10011’s reality.
  • The Creator ordered the Chaos Cage opened, suspecting that one of the three travelers was involved in concealing the changes.
  • The Creator recalled how Earth-616’s Reed had exposed the Chaos Cage’s abuses and freed its prisoners before the Creator later restored it.
  • The Creator remembered Skynet’s multiversal battle, in which she deployed a quantum supercomputer and Hemen’s Remains before being defeated and stripped of most of her consciousness.
  • The Chaos Cage’s entrance opened, and the Creator peered in at Earth-616’s Doctor Doom, Skynet, and the rusty robot.

Ch. 181Reinforcements arrive (two-in-one)

Doctor Strange arrived in the Cancerverse, fed and protected the Guardians of the Galaxy, and began investigating the virus behind its corruption. Brad developed another virus while the “Creator” searched for him, and Miles Morales learned that the Peter Parker with him was actually the Cancerverse’s Corrupted Spider-Man.

  • Doctor Strange appeared aboard the Guardians of the Galaxy’s ship, conjured food, and restored Corrupted Strange’s appearance while leaving him asleep.
  • Doctor Strange concealed the ship from pursuit and told the Guardians he would find a way to save their universe.
  • Tony Stark examined a virus Doctor Strange had found and confirmed it matched the creator of the blood cross virus; Doctor Strange explained it could connect a universe to Evil God Shuma’s dimension.
  • Brad developed a femtomechanical virus as part of his own path to becoming a Technology God, then learned the “Creator” was investigating his identity.
  • Miles Morales confronted Peter Parker in New York, and the “Creator” revealed that Peter was actually the Cancerverse’s Corrupted Spider-Man.
