Arc 1Orochimaru’s Experiments

Kenichi Amamiya advanced his research under Orochimaru, developing a method to induce cancer with Yang Release Chakra while becoming entangled in Orochimaru’s experiments and Konoha’s political changes. The arc left Kenichi testing his technique on a Chunin and considering what other powerful abilities and materials he might obtain.

  • Kenichi Amamiya secretly replaced Kakashi’s Mangekyō Sharingan with a Three-Tomoe Sharingan just before the Nine-Tails attacked Konoha, then gathered Nine-Tails Chakra and Naruto Uzumaki’s blood amid the chaos.

  • Kenichi Amamiya and Sasori tested a modified Impure World Reincarnation in the Land of Lightning, then fled after Killer B caught them near Kumogakure.
