Planar Nature and Powers
Plane Consciousness
- Original consciousness: Xue Ke existed during the Dragon God’s lifetime, when Douluo Star was still an ordinary, relatively weak plane under his control 267.
- Embodied identities: She could live as a human or Soul Beast under different identities. Remaining on Douluo Star and following the circumstances of those identities avoided affecting the planet as a whole 266.
- Home-ground strength: Before transferring away most of her power, Xue Ke believed she could fight a God King on Douluo Star until both suffered grave injuries. She could not wield that full strength elsewhere 268.
Power of Fate
- Douluo Star’s Power of Fate arises from the actions and choices of its inhabitants, including humans, Soul Beasts, plants, and animals. Xue Ke associates it with effort, reflection, and the courage to choose change 271.
- Xue Ke condensed most of this power into a rose-gold Soul Ring for Huo Yuhao, placing the Auspicious Beast’s token inside as a marker for Qiu’er’s soul 271.
- Its concealment protected Huo Yuhao from detection by the planet’s later controller. Removing that concealment produced a warning of severe danger 502 532.
Life Core
- Xue Ke transferred ninety percent of the Life Core’s power to Huo Yuhao, combining it with his Gold of Life to form an emerald-green Soul Ring 272.
- She retained the remainder because completely draining the core would make Douluo Star unsuitable for life 272.
- Ah Yin later became the planet’s Life Core. Life Energy gathered through the Life Ancient Tree strengthened her and extended her consciousness across the world 665 864.
Plane Laws and Cultivation Limits
- In the weakened era after the Divine Realm’s disappearance, native cultivation could reach the edge of God Level but could not cross it through ordinary accumulation of energy. Even Gu Yuena was restrained by this boundary 866.
- The Plane Master could draw on planetary power, interfere with spatial passages, and attempt to reject outsiders from Douluo Star 811 865.
- Planetary laws supported Tang Wulin against a powerful intruder and could repel that presence, though they could not seal it away completely 765.
- Douluo Star’s weakened laws had only limited influence over the Undead Demiplane, allowing its foreign inhabitants to retain their original cultivation methods 585.
Planetary Authority
| Holder | Position or Authority | Scope and Limitations |
|---|---|---|
| Xue Ke | Original Plane Consciousness and original Plane Master | Sought independence from the Divine Realm. Left obstacles behind when Tang Hao seized the planet’s authority 267 811 900. |
| Tang San | Divine Realm’s overseer of Douluo Star | Controlled access to planetary affairs during Huo Yuhao’s original divine life, preventing him from returning to distribute an improved Soul Spirit Contract 4 126. |
| Tang Hao | Later Plane Master | Wielded Second-Level Deity strength but never fully controlled the declining planet. Could perceive major disturbances and channel planetary power 665 867. |
| Ah Yin | Later Life Core | Reached divine strength, but initially could not appear freely on the planet. Relied on the Seed of Life and Life Ancient Tree to expand her influence 665. |
| Huo Yuhao | Holder of a small share of planetary authority | Absorbed authority from Tang Hao’s severed arm. This prevented his expulsion but was insufficient to remove Tang Hao or freely rewrite the plane laws 872. |
| Abyssal Sage King | Seized control during the final battle | Used Douluo Star’s authority to strengthen himself, darken the entire sky, and defend against Eternal Heaven’s attack 1018 1019. |
History
Dragon God Era and the Divine Realm’s Anchor
After the Dragon God’s fall, scattered Dragon Clan power reached Douluo Star. Although Xue Ke could not use it directly, it changed the planet’s cultivation system 267.
The Divine Realm subsequently selected Douluo Star as an anchor because of its stability and solidity. Surveillance was another motive: part of the fallen Dragon God had drifted there 268.
Xue Ke’s Attempt to Break Divine Control
Xue Ke wanted Douluo Star freed from the Divine Realm’s existing form of control. She recruited the time-displaced Huo Yuhao and prepared him to travel through space-time turbulence, carrying his companions’ soul seeds and much of the planet’s power 267 269 271.
Transferring that power deliberately weakened Douluo Star’s capacity to sustain the Divine Realm’s anchor. Xue Ke explained that this hollowed foundation would allow the coming turbulence to sweep the Divine Realm away rather than merely damage it 269 272.
Decline Under Tang Hao
When Huo Yuhao reached the later era, the Divine Realm was absent and Douluo Star’s authority had changed hands. Xue Ke’s weakened consciousness was recovering inside his Sea of Consciousness, while the planet itself exerted hostile pressure on him 502 509 536.
Tang Hao and Ah Yin hoped Tang San’s Ten-Thousand-Year Plan would restore the planet’s dwindling energy. Its intended outcome involved defeating the Abyssal Sage King and absorbing his power; Huo Yuhao’s unexpected return threatened those arrangements 665 849 864.
Demon Plane Incursions
Douluo Star had previously suffered a Demon Plane invasion when a Fallen Angel Soul Master’s ninth Soul Ring opened a passage. Yun Ming later warned that Na’er’s developing demonic power could produce a similar opening 678.
Alba subsequently marched thirty thousand elite demons toward another invasion attempt. The incursion ended after a terrifying presence attacked through a spatial rift and dragged Alba and Wu Jie away 726 765.
Integration Movement Intervention
Huo Yuhao positioned Integration Star near Douluo Star and used its power to support operations against the Spirit Pagoda. A carefully controlled interference effect disrupted Tang Hao and Ah Yin’s perception for two hours 803 811 813.
Tang Hao then attempted to kill Huo Yuhao privately. He escaped their battle only by sacrificing an arm and part of his planetary authority. Huo Yuhao absorbed that fragment, securing his ability—and that of his arriving forces—to remain on Douluo Star without being expelled 864 872.
Rather than conquer the planet’s nations, Huo Yuhao pursued negotiation. He argued that forced rule would cause unnecessary bloodshed, alienate ordinary people, and undermine the Integration Movement 918.
Abyss War and Reconstruction
The Abyss Army established a foothold in the Far North with the Holy Spirit Cult’s involvement. Huo Yuhao concluded that Tang Hao had allowed the invasion to develop so that the Abyss forces and Integration Movement would weaken each other 964 984.
The Abyssal Sage King eventually seized Douluo Star’s authority and covered its sky in darkness. During the confrontation, Xue Ke activated the fragment of planetary authority Huo Yuhao had obtained from Tang Hao 1018 1019.
After the Sage King’s defeat, reconstruction brought higher cultivation limits, closer ties with Integration Star, and wider promotion of the Equal Soul Spirit Contract. Huo Yuhao, Xiao An, and Xue Ke also agreed on a future Dragon God Realm that would not force planets to follow a single route toward the Divine Realm 1024.
Society and Technology
Nations and Institutions
- Sun Moon Federation: Held a substantial technological advantage over Star Luo and Heaven Dou, particularly in naval warfare 573.
- Star Luo Empire: Preserved older Martial Soul traditions and promoted individual heroism. Statues and stories of Spirit Ice Douluo supported its public identity and imperial legitimacy 537 596.
- Heaven Dou Empire: In the later era, possessed fewer resources and less strength than either Star Luo or the Sun Moon Federation 881.
- Spirit Pagoda: Produced Soul Spirits and operated the Spirit Ascension Platform. Its enormous revenue also funded political influence 585 890.
- Tang Sect and Shrek Academy: Worked to prevent war and combat Evil Soul Masters, while remaining major institutions in the planet’s political landscape 699 861.
Soul Tool Development
- Soul Tools use Soul Guidance Arrays to circulate energy through suitable materials. On Douluo Star, their usual power source is Soul Power 348.
- Later-era applications include industrial loading machinery, Mecha, Battle Armor, warships, submarines, and satellites 537 564 804 850.
- Modern warfare emphasizes coordinated forces and Soul Weapons. Powerful Soul Masters can decide individual battles, but those below godhood can no longer determine an entire war alone 566.
- Forging is more effective than ordinary casting at awakening rare metals’ activity because it incorporates the blacksmith’s Martial Soul and spiritual power 565.
Soul Beast Crisis and Reform
- Habitat loss: Human expansion and Spirit Pagoda hunting erased the Star Dou Great Forest’s outer and Mixed Areas, leaving its remaining Soul Beasts confined within the fortified Core Area 850.
- Unsustainable demand: Huo Yuhao judged that demand for Soul Spirits was exceeding dwindling Soul Beast populations. Artificial Soul Spirits alone would not resolve the underlying exploitation 585.
- Relocation: He secretly moved willing Sea Soul Beast tribes and later the Far North’s Soul Beasts into the Undead Demiplane 532 654.
- Contract reform: The improved Equal Soul Spirit Contract allowed Soul Beasts to retain their physical bodies, though distrust of human Soul Masters remained an obstacle 585 588.
- New living areas: Following negotiations, the Integration Movement began building Douluo Star’s first city for Soul Beasts within the former Mixed Area of the Star Dou Great Forest 924 928.
