Previous Life and Rebirth

Xiao An is the reborn Dragon Clan Crown Prince. The Dragon God’s surviving consciousness remembers losing control and killing him in the distant past, making his eventual return appear almost impossible 587 943.

He emerges from an egg without his former memories. Huo Yuhao names him Xiao An, hoping that he can live safely until those memories return. Within five or six days, he reaches the height of a two- or three-year-old and quickly learns to walk and speak. Despite this growth, his body is extremely weak: Huo Yuhao mixes his own blood into the child’s meals to replenish his life force, with limited results 525.

When Xiao An’s first indistinct words sound like “mama,” Huo Yuhao declines the address rather than claim the place of someone from his forgotten past. He teaches Xiao An to call him “Senior” instead 525.

Life in the Undead Demiplane

Huo Yuhao raises Xiao An as an ordinary child rather than grooming him as a tool for his former identity. He teaches him Soul Guidance Arrays, cooks for him, and reassures him that eating more than other children is acceptable as long as he remains healthy and does not waste food 529.

Xiao An’s outward development conceals an incomplete origin. His appetite continually increases, while nourishing food, heavenly treasures, and Huo Yuhao’s blood largely prevent deterioration rather than cure him. Huo Yuhao eventually identifies the missing bloodline components as connected to the Golden and Silver Dragon Kings 571 590 620 635.

The Silver Dragon King essence blood treatment changes this condition and unleashes remarkable cultivation speed. Huo Yuhao suspects that it has reawakened Xiao An’s talent from before his rebirth, though he repeatedly requires the boy to slow down and stabilize his cultivation 636 637 677.

The Demon Plane Field Hospital

Still underage, Xiao An conceals his true age and persuades Na’er to let him join the Demon Plane’s medical effort. His cultivation and the urgent need for healers secure permission for him to work behind the battlefield 768.

Treating wounded demons exposes him to suffering that the Cultivation Platform cannot reproduce. He continues helping after nearly exhausting his Soul Power, struggles to understand patients who insist they do not want their former lives back, and begins reconsidering both war and his own troubling dreams 768 769.

After working through the night, he reunites with Huo Yuhao, accepts food, and talks about his experiences before returning to the hospital. Huo Yuhao recognizes that Xiao An is beginning to become his own person and does not stop him 770.

Dreams and the Devil Archipelago

Xiao An experiences indistinct dreams that feel personally familiar but provoke deep resistance. He cannot bring himself to explain them to Huo Yuhao, even when he visits intending to speak about what troubles him 779 792.

The God of Destruction and Goddess of Life later accompany him within his Sea of Consciousness to investigate the Devil Archipelago. Both swear not to reveal his past before his memories return 811.

An energy tide there triggers a vision of a palace, a being draining his power, and a subsequent war. Faces and voices remain obscured, and the experience does not immediately restore his former identity. Afterward, he helps gather the islands’ destruction and life energy, strengthening himself and stabilizing the two gods’ souls 874 875 876.

Dragon Valley and His Former Identity

Huo Yuhao introduces Xiao An to Gu Yuena and Di Tian only after securing their silence about his past. Xiao An senses familiarity with both, but Huo Yuhao wants his memories to return naturally rather than through outside pressure 903.

In Dragon Valley, Xiao An confronts his unexplained resistance to the Golden Dragon King’s power and accepts another Universe Creation Pill. His awakening after the fusion restores his draconic form and brings his former identity to the foreground. Huo Yuhao addresses him separately as Xiao An and as the Dragon Clan Crown Prince, acknowledging their shared time while explaining that his newly united powers still need to grow 942 949 950.

Becoming the Dragon God

After Huo Yuhao’s battle with the Abyssal Sage King, Xiao An finds him unconscious with Qiu’er in the cosmos and carries them on his Seven-Colored Dragon back 1023.

Following Tang San’s death, Xiao An becomes the new Dragon God and takes control of the Divine Realm. The disappearance of the Dragon God’s curse ends heavenly tribulations, but does not replace equal Soul Spirit Contracts: those contracts remain useful because they advance both participants’ cultivation 1025.

Appearance

• Human-looking form: Initially resembles a small boy with bright black eyes, despite being a dragon in essence 525 531 585.
• Rapid growth: Reaches approximately an ordinary six-year-old’s physical development in less than a year. The first Universe Creation Pill makes him tall enough to reach Huo Yuhao’s chest 585 636.
• Young dragon manifestation: Initially a listless phantom shorter than an arm, usually resting on his shoulder. Silver Dragon King essence blood gives it a faint silver tint and a more solid, energetic appearance 588 636.
• Restored draconic features: Slender horns and scales emerge when the Golden and Silver Dragon King powers fully fuse 949.
• Seven-Colored Dragon form: Large enough to carry Huo Yuhao and Qiu’er on his back 1023.

Personality

Xiao An is curious, affectionate, and strongly interested in unfamiliar things. Ships, the ocean, new cities, and the Cultivation Platform readily capture his attention. His enormous appetite is a recurring concern to him as well as a source of enjoyment: he worries about eating more than other children, but eagerly looks forward to Huo Yuhao’s cooking 529 535 537 589.

His childishness coexists with courage and consideration. Although frightened by his first approaching Skeleton Soldier, he steps in front of Huo Yuhao and throws a stone at its weapon when he believes his senior is in danger. He also has a mischievous streak, teasing Leng Xiao once he is safely behind Qiu’er 590 634.

His hospital work develops his independence and compassion. Bloodshed unsettles him, but he repeatedly returns to treating patients rather than withdrawing. The suffering he witnesses also sharpens his aversion to elements of his dreams, which feel increasingly incompatible with his present experiences 768 769 770.

Elemental Vision

His first pale golden Soul Ring grants Elemental Vision, a skill associated with the Silver Dragon King’s power 636.

• Enhances Spiritual Power so that he can perceive nearby elemental particles 636.
• Allows him to gather, control, and use those particles; his first demonstrated application is a peach-sized fireball 636.

Draconic Manifestation and Self-Condensed Soul Rings

The young dragon commonly treated as his Martial Soul is not an ordinary human Martial Soul. Huo Yuhao identifies it as a manifestation connected to Xiao An’s missing bloodline components 588 590.
