Origins and the Divine Realm

Snow Empress was born of heaven and earth rather than to parents of her own species. She adopted Xiao Bai and raised him from a cub in the Far North 13 17.

In the original timeline, she became one of Huo Yuhao’s Soul Spirits and accompanied him to the Divine Realm. There, she enjoyed reading novels and drew Ice Empress, Li Ya, and Huo Yu’er into the hobby. She also helped Ice Empress and Huo Yuhao’s mother make an outfit that Tian Meng was persuaded to wear 4 13.

Meeting the Reborn Huo Yuhao

After the return to the earlier era, Snow Empress did not remember Huo Yuhao or their shared life in the Divine Realm. She dismissed Xiao Bai’s recollections as a possible cultivation mishap, although her examination found nothing wrong with him. His subsequent excessive sleeping also worried her 13 17.

When Huo Yuhao awakened her second Martial Soul, Snow Empress sensed something resembling her own Origin Power far to the south. She sensed it again when Huo Yuhao entered the Far North and flew out to investigate. Finding the human girl riding Xiao Bai, she suspected interference with her adopted child and held an ice sword to Huo Yuhao’s throat 13 18.

Huo Yuhao’s initial offer of a Soul Spirit Contract enraged her, as she believed the human coveted her Soul Ring and Soul Bone. She nevertheless agreed to examine an alternative: an improved method for condensing a Yin-Yang Reversal Soul Core. With Ice Empress, A-Tai, and Xiao Bai guarding the area, she successfully formed the core and apologized for her hostility 19 20.

Her trust grew after witnessing A Ling reach 100,000 years through a Soul Spirit Contract without attracting a Heavenly Tribulation. Later, after learning that the Divine Realm barred Soul Beasts from becoming gods, she asked Huo Yuhao to explain their shared future. She accepted the account, rejected Huo Yuhao’s self-blame, and reserved one of her companion’s future Soul Ring slots 20 22.

Rescue of Sky Dream

Snow Empress agreed to help free Sky Dream Ice Silkworm from Di Tian. With dual Soul Cores and the promised Profound Ice Marrow, she believed she had a realistic chance of contending with him. Before leaving, she arranged the Far North’s affairs and joined the others in absorbing the marrow 21.

At the Lake of Life, Snow Empress and Evil Lord demanded Sky Dream’s release. When Di Tian refused, she fought him in the air while their companions engaged the other Ferocious Beasts. Evil Lord’s intervention eventually forced Di Tian to accept their terms, and Snow Empress pressed him to release the prisoner 24 25 26.

Life Near Heaven Dou City

Snow Empress subsequently accompanied the group to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and explored Heaven Dou City with Ice Empress and Evil Lord. To avoid attracting attention through their titles, she introduced herself to Dugu Yan as A-Xue, Ice Empress as A-Bing, and Evil Lord as A-Xie 38 39 40.

While Huo Yuhao studied at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, Snow Empress and the others made trips into the city. She examined Tian Meng after her emergence from the cocoon and confirmed that she was healthy. She also checked on Huo Yuhao’s refined left arm after the latter’s seven-day sleep and later instructed everyone to leave Huo Yuhao to rest following another collapse 44 45 48 50.

Appearance

Snow Empress appears as a beautiful woman with long white hair, first shown meditating on a towering iceberg in the Far North 13.

Personality

Snow Empress is fiercely protective of Xiao Bai. She investigates his unusual behavior, worries over his health, and initially treats Huo Yuhao as a threat because of the apparent connection between the human and Xiao Bai’s strange recollections. Her distrust of humans is especially pronounced when she believes someone wants her Soul Ring and Soul Bone 13 17 18 19.

She is willing to revise her judgment when presented with evidence. After the Soul Core method succeeds, she apologizes directly; after Huo Yuhao repeatedly keeps her promises, Snow Empress chooses to believe the account of their future. She also comforts Huo Yuhao rather than blaming her for the companions’ displacement through time 20 22.

Among trusted companions, she is playful and encouraging. She teases Huo Yuhao about being Xiao Bai’s “Grandma,” exchanges jokes with Evil Lord, and reassures Ice Empress that catching up with a changing world is still possible 22 28 38.
