Beyond the universe, Arceus sent Cogita to protect Dahara City, where she suspected the Prison Bottle’s sudden shattering might reveal something unexpected.

• Charles Goodshow ordered an S-class alert and mobilized regional Leagues, Champions, Elite Kings, and rescue resources for Dahara City.
• Bruno volunteered to go to Dahara City, while Agatha had Gengar drag the Suzuki family head into a shadow after he objected to contributing supplies.
• Charles Goodshow ordered Agatha and Bruno to notify Monk and Pryce, and to call Yukinari into service.
• Charles Goodshow used Alakazam to reach Vault One and reluctantly considered giving up Ho-Oh's Nest and the Silver Wing.

Chen Shi and his allies were overwhelmed when five Legendary Pokémon attacked Giratina and Zygarde, until Rayquaza arrived and knocked back Dialga, Groudon, and Kyogre. Rayquaza ignored Chen Shi and demanded to know where Mew had gone.

• Groudon, Kyogre, Dialga, Palkia, Kyurem, Yveltal, and Hoopa Unbound confronted Chen Shi, Giratina, and Zygarde, then launched a coordinated attack.
• Giratina dodged the opening strikes and hit Kyogre with Shadow Force, but Groudon and the Time-Space Duo drove it into a losing position.

• Rayquaza arrived to help Giratina, and Chen Shi brought Jirachi and the two Victini onto Rayquaza so Little V could restore his energy.
• Giratina attacked Kyurem, and Rayquaza joined the chaotic fight against the Legendary Pokémon.
