After clearing things up with Junpei, Sukuna immediately cheered up.

"Sukuna is special while he has amnesia."
That made Itadori and Nobara roll their eyes at him together, but neither could find anything to say in rebuttal.
In the end, Sukuna himself stepped in to clarify.
"I don't know what I'll be like after I get my memories back either. If I really do start massacring people, fight me if you have to... oh, wait, you can't beat me. Run if you need to. Don't try to tough it out."
