Hisoka raised an eyebrow at A Luo.
"Cooperation? ♥"
A Luo nodded.
"Don't tell me you haven't thought about it. I know you already agreed to meet Kurapika again in Yorknew City, and you even sold him information on the Spider."
Hisoka waved his freshly stitched arm, then held a playing card between his fingers as he looked at A Luo.
"If you know so much, why didn't you sell me out to Machi just now? I haven't seen you tell Kurapika anything about the Spiders, either! A Luo, what exactly are you thinking? Why can't I figure you out? ♥"
It had to be either pure love or pure hatred!
He knew what sort of life A Luo had endured at the Spiders' hands, and he knew reconciliation between them was impossible.
What he couldn't understand was this.
Even now, Chrollo hadn't ordered A Luo's death. He had only told the others to capture her alive and bring her back.
A Luo, meanwhile, seemed content to leave them alone as long as they left her alone.
If the Spiders hadn't appeared again this time, she didn't seem likely to take the initiative and strike back at them.
A Luo gave a self-deprecating smile.
Perhaps it was because there were people among the Spiders whose crimes she didn't think warranted death, or who shouldn't die at her hands!
She had always felt that the Spiders had tormented her before, and afterward, she had gotten her revenge.
Perhaps that meant she and the Spiders were even!
At worst, she could accept getting the short end of the stick, simply because she really didn't want to remain entangled with that bunch.
They feared nothing, and apart from the Phantom Troupe, there was nothing in this world they treasured.
