Tang Yu chuckled inwardly at the sight.

Insight, well done. Your master appreciates you.

Suddenly, Tang Yu rubbed his eyes. On the river's surface, he saw a woman in the arms of the "third blockhead," and she seemed to be calling for help.

What's going on here?

Did the third blockhead pick up a family member on the way to heaven?

Sun Wukong's Fiery Eyes Golden Gaze focused, and he immediately exclaimed, "It looks like the Queen Mother."

Oh, the Queen Mother!

The third blockhead pulled the Queen Mother down to the mortal realm.

"Insight, quickly, quickly, fish her out, fish her out, no, no, save her." Tang Yu felt his words were off and quickly corrected himself, telling Sun Wukong to save her.

The Golden Cudgel instantly lengthened, thrusting towards the Queen Mother.

"Your Majesty, hold on to this old monkey's Iron Staff."

These words… they sound a bit off, don't they? Tang Yu glanced at Sun Wukong.

After pulling the Queen Mother up, Tang Yu couldn't help but mutter, looking at her attire, Was she with the Jade Emperor?

Sensing Tang Yu's gaze, the Queen Mother blushed.

"Tian Peng greets Your Majesty," Zhu Bajie bowed.

Feeling a bit awkward, but the Queen Mother was no ordinary person. She calmly said, "Tian Peng, you may rise."

Tang Yu, ever the helpful one, offered his kasaya to the Queen Mother, "Your Majesty, the weather is a bit chilly. Please wear this humble monk's kasaya."

This earned him an appreciative look from the Queen Mother. She found Tang Sanzang to be quite thoughtful and eloquent.

The Western Heaven.

Everyone there was stunned at the sight.

Sha Wujing was dead, killed by a single blow from Sun Wukong. He couldn't have been more dead.

They watched with their own eyes as Sha Wujing rode Sun Wukong's Golden Cudgel into the sky. Before they could even react, Sha Wujing had already descended to the mortal realm, carrying the Queen Mother.

All the Buddhas turned to look at Tathagata. Tathagata's expression was calm, as if he were accustomed to this.

"Samantabhadra, you still have a Nine-Turn Golden Elixir. Go and revive Sha Wujing."

Tathagata Buddha lit a cigarette and began giving instructions.

The pilgrimage team was barely formed, and one member was already dead.

It was important to remember that Sha Wujing was an indispensable member of the pilgrimage team.

Who would have thought he would be killed by a single blow from Sun Wukong?

"As you command, Buddha."

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, having received the decree, hurried towards the lower realm.

Guanyin Bodhisattva, who was just arriving at the Flowing Sands River, immediately changed her expression and quickened her pace.

By the time she arrived, she saw Sha Wujing's corpse drifting further and further away in the Flowing Sands River.

Her head spun, and she almost fell in.

Meanwhile, Tang Sanzang and the others seemed completely unfazed, gathered around eating a wild rabbit.

"Tang Sanzang!"

Guanyin Bodhisattva called out in a low voice and waved her hand, sending Sha Wujing's corpse onto the bank.

It was beyond recognition; his head had been smashed to pieces.

Tang Yu picked at his ear and completely ignored her, continuing to eat the rabbit leg in his hand.

"Tang Sanzang, why is he dead?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva was furious. Sha Wujing was dead, what was to be done now?

"Bodhisattva, it's like this. This humble monk happened upon this demon, and to prevent it from causing further harm, I had Wukong kill it," Tang Yu said unhurriedly.

"Tang Sanzang, you must know that all beings are equal, and you, who are devoted to Buddha, should especially be compassionate," Guanyin Bodhisattva reprimanded him.

Hearing this, Tang Yu felt like laughing.

All beings are equal, you can forget it.

"May I ask, Bodhisattva, what is wrong with this humble monk subduing demons and eliminating evil?"

"This..."

Guanyin Bodhisattva was at a loss for words. After a moment's thought, she said, "Tang Sanzang, you must remember that monks should be compassionate..."

"Oh..." Tang Yu interrupted her directly, letting out a meaningful "Oh...": "Does the Bodhisattva mean that all beings are equal, and demons are also beings? That we should not kill them unless absolutely necessary?"

These words, spoken as they were, seemed to have no fault.

Guanyin Bodhisattva nodded, "It is as it should be."

Tang Yu gave a strange smile, "Understood." He then said to Sun Wukong, "Wukong, dig a hole and bury this big brother."

"Also, this humble monk deeply apologizes. This humble monk will chant the Rebirth Sutra a thousand times, hoping his soul may rest in peace."

Guanyin Bodhisattva was a bit confused. What had she said for them to bury Sha Wujing?

This wouldn't do.

"Stop."

"Stop."

Two low shouts rang out. One was from Guanyin Bodhisattva, and the other came from Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, who had arrived from afar.

"Amitabha," Samantabhadra Bodhisattva chanted a Buddhist phrase, "Tang Sanzang, this person is your third disciple."

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva spoke truthfully to him.

I didn't know this was my third disciple, and you arranged it all.

As expected, I couldn't avoid it.

Tang Yu had thought that by killing Sha Wujing, he could prevent the pilgrimage team from forming, thereby plundering some of the Buddhist sect's fortune.

But now it seemed he had overthought things.

Before he could say anything, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva had already revived Sha Wujing.

Sha Wujing opened his eyes in a daze, still a bit bewildered.

After a long while, he finally recalled what had happened.

Seeing the monkey standing beside him, he couldn't help but tremble, feeling a bit scared.

"Juan Lian pays respects to Queen Mother, and to the two Bodhisattvas."

Cold sweat streamed down Sha Wujing's forehead.

What did I do?

Not only did I see Queen Mother changing clothes, but I also carried her down to the mortal realm.

"Wujing, why don't you go pay your respects to your master?" Guanyin Bodhisattva said.

Glancing at Tang Yu, Sha Wujing said, "I'm not going. That monkey is too powerful. I don't want this master."

"Presumptuous!"

Guanyin Bodhisattva roared.

Helplessly, Sha Wujing knelt at Tang Yu's feet, but he kept a wary eye on Sun Wukong.

He was terrified by Sun Wukong's staff.

Seeing that Tang Yu had taken in Sha Wujing, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva secretly breathed a sigh of relief. The pilgrimage group had finally completed its team.

Just as they were about to send the master and disciples across the river, suddenly, war drums sounded in the sky.

Dense heavenly soldiers instantly filled every corner of the sky.

The Jade Emperor appeared, his face ashen. With a wave of his hand, Queen Mother flew to his side, then he pointed at Sha Wujing, "Take him down."

"Stop," Guanyin Bodhisattva naturally knew everything that had happened.

Sha Wujing also knew. You wanted to go to heaven, fine, but why did you reach out and pull her down?

What was even more terrifying was that Queen Mother was wearing those clothes, and he had held her in his arms. No man could accept that, let alone the Jade Emperor, the ruler of the Three Realms.

"Jade Emperor, will you listen to this humble monk's words?" Guanyin Bodhisattva said.

"Whatever it is, wait until I've killed Juan Lian. Take him down!" The Jade Emperor was truly enraged. While it might be an exaggeration to say he was cuckolded, it was close.

This sudden turn of events left Tang Yu somewhat bewildered. Seeing the heavenly soldiers charging down, he called to Wukong and Er Dai Zi, "To avoid harming innocents, retreat with your master."
