"Our enemy is Myotismon. At first, he was just a very powerful Ultimate Digimon, but we failed to kill him completely, and instead he evolved into a Mega." On the way, Sora Takenouchi gave them a quick account of what had happened.
"Hey, hey! Shoutmon doesn't have any partners to fuse with. Can he really fight something like that?" Zenjiro shouted, only to receive another elbow from Akari. "As long as we believe we can win and never give up, we'll defeat any opponent, no matter how strong!" Akari declared boldly.
Believe we can win? Sora Takenouchi had no such conviction. When she had been separated from her friends, with Biyomon nowhere beside her, she had survived simply because she didn't want to die. Perhaps the power of the heart really could bring about miracles.
At Garudamon's speed, they reached the battlefield from Bick Bay in mere seconds. They just couldn't find Tai and the others. Then, with the children's help, the Digimon evolved to Ultimate.
"Wait! I want to fight too!" Shoutmon shouted. In fact, the proportions were astonishingly similar: Shoutmon stood at Garudamon's feet, just as Garudamon stood at Ultimate Myotismon's feet.
"Taiki, Shoutmon, thank you. But you really don't have to." Sora Takenouchi declined Taiki's help. She already knew that Shoutmon's strength came from DigiFusion. After fusing, Shoutmon possessed tremendous power, but without his partners, he was just an ordinary Rookie Digimon.
With Taiki and Shoutmon in tow, Sora Takenouchi finally found Izzy Izumi. He was using his computer to calculate Ultimate Myotismon's attack patterns. When Taiki walked in, however, everyone's eyes turned to him.
"You aren't from this world." Everyone bore the mark of their own world. The mark on Taiki did not belong to this one.
"Wow, Brother Fan, you're amazing! Taiki suddenly appeared in
