Naruto's clone soon finished downloading the DLC for Danzo.
Although he was only a clone, he was still connected to the Sealing Space's network, so... he could use it to help download things too.
And... Naruto's clone had not just downloaded two DLCs for Danzo. He had also downloaded Elden Ring for him.
Since Danzo liked Dark Souls III so much, Naruto was sure he would like Elden Ring too!
While downloading Elden Ring, Naruto's clone spoke to Danzo beside him.
"Listen, old man, you're no spring chicken anymore. You can't keep staying up all night!"
"You should learn from the old Third. Even when you're gaming, you need to balance work and rest. Look at him-he plays Ninja Guide every day now and has the time of his life."
"Hmm?" Hearing Naruto mention Hiruzen Sarutobi, Danzo asked curiously, "Can I play whatever game he's playing now?"
At Danzo's question, Naruto's clone paused, then suddenly came up with a brilliant idea.
"Of course."
Naruto had thought of Ninja Guide's multiplayer mode.
In multiplayer, one player played a female ninja and the other played a man, who then tried to win her over.
Once he succeeded, the pursuer and the pursued switched roles for a second round.
The thought of Danzo and the Third playing a game where they wooed each other... just imagining it gave Naruto a thrill.
Unaware of Naruto's thoughts, Danzo nodded. "Good... download it for me. I want to see what that lecherous monkey gets up to every day!"
"Okay..." Naruto made an okay sign, then started downloading Ninja Guide for Danzo.
While it downloaded, Naruto asked Kurama to notify Wolffy and have him set up a LAN with a wider range.
Next, Naruto was going to make Danzo and the Third each other's only online friend...
Kurama received the message from Naruto's clone, so naturally, Wolffy, Zeff, Kurapika, and Naruto all learned about it too.
"Naruto, what's that clone of yours planning? Danzo isn't someone you can easily deal with!"
Kurapika spoke in a serious tone.
Naruto shrugged. "I'm not too sure either, but... I should be able to guess what I'd do in certain situations."
Kurama had not provided any definite information either, mainly because he did not know what Naruto's clone was planning!
The LAN transmitter was soon finished. Once it was ready, Kurapika made a trip out and installed it on a utility pole on Konoha's central street.
Seeing the LAN connection appear on the computer, Naruto chuckled.
After the games finished downloading, Naruto began explaining Elden Ring and Ninja Guide to Danzo.
Danzo was a Souls player with six hundred hours under his belt, after all. He understood Elden Ring without much explanation.
Ninja Guide, on the other hand, baffled him.
What benefit could there possibly be in a game about wooing girls? It couldn't train my reflexes or strengthen my mental fortitude...
Wait... mental fortitude? I think I've figured it out.
"Hiruzen Sarutobi, how calculating you are... are you using this method to overcome the greatest weakness of your life-your lust?"
"Although you've grown cowardly... sure enough, every ninja still has the desire to grow stronger! Hiruzen, you truly are my lifelong rival! Rest assured, the Hokage's seat will be mine!"
At that thought, Danzo's gaze sharpened. "In that case, I'll see whether this game can really help you overcome your weakness!"
Danzo clicked into the game and started the tutorial. Soon, he was completely absorbed.
Seeing this, Naruto's clone prepared to leave, but before doing so, he still taught Danzo how to play multiplayer.
Just as a Root Ninja was about to escort Naruto's clone out, he suddenly seemed to remember something. "Oh, right, old man Danzo... there's one more thing. I've been working on a new game lately. In it, you can do whatever you want-even create your own ninja village and become its Hokage. You could even become a daimyo!"

The Third recalled that there did seem to be a game called Dark Souls III on his computer, but he had never opened it and played.
"Mm! I can give it a try later!"
With that thought, the Third looked at Naruto's clone and asked, "So, did you come here to see me about something?"
"Yeah... Ninja Guide just got an update! I came to update it for you!"
Hearing that Ninja Guide had been updated, the Third's eyes lit up.
Without another word, he vacated the computer desk.
Smiling, Naruto took over the mouse and keyboard and got to work.
Naturally, Ninja Guide had not been updated. Naruto merely added a LAN connection and, while he was at it, a friend.
Once he was done, Naruto began teaching the Third how to play against someone online.
The Third had been using a computer for quite some time now, so he quickly understood.
Then he shooed Naruto away and started a LAN match.
Naturally, there was only one opponent: Danzo.
At the Root Base, Danzo was busy wooing a female ninja when he saw the match invitation and froze for a moment.
But... if someone had invited him to a match, he was not about to back down!
What followed was the Third Hokage's journey to win Danzo's heart.
