Ch. 3Save Point

  • Linde tied the Faded Ribbon in Frisk's hair, and Frisk equipped it in place of her Bandage.
  • Linde ignored Frisk's warning and was struck by bullets from Lukeye, Vegetoid, and Gospel Roach.
  • Frisk pulled Linde clear, fed him Monster Candy, spared the monsters, and confirmed she had reloaded the timeline.
  • Linde realized he remembered events from before the reload and speculated that other monsters might retain such memories.
  • Linde led Frisk left at a junction toward a large leafless tree, where Toriel hurried out of a small house.

Ch. 9You Can't Sleep in the Same Bed!

  • Frisk and Linde eagerly agreed, so Toriel led them home to start their lessons.

Ch. 11Magic

Toriel discovered that Linde could use magic because his unstable soul let determination release its power. After Linde accidentally killed a monster disguised as a tree with a spell, he gained LOVE and rushed to Frisk to ask her to load the save.

  • Toriel tried to teach Frisk and Linde magic, but they could not sense magic power, so she researched human magic and concluded that they could not learn it.
  • Frisk and Linde secretly read Toriel’s book, and Linde realized he might be a human with the potential to become a mage.
  • At dinner, Linde showed Toriel that his soul appeared when she summoned a weak fireball, and Toriel recognized him as a mage.
  • Outside [Home], Linde used determination to control the power leaking from his unstable soul and created a keyboard that cast the word “death.”
  • Linde’s spell destroyed a tree that turned out to be a monster, earning him EXP and LOVE, so he hurried inside and asked Frisk to load the save.

Ch. 12History Lesson

  • Linde invited Frisk to dance on the ice, but neither knew how, so they fell into the snow.
  • Sans and Papyrus presented an invisible electric maze, and Papyrus revealed its route by walking through it.
  • Frisk crossed the maze safely, but after Linde made her take a shock, she shoved the orb into his arms and stomped around the maze, repeatedly shocking him.

Ch. 17Martlet

Linde and Frisk met Martlet, a former Royal Guard, who told them about Clover’s journey through the Underground and his death at Asgore’s hands. Martlet invited the children to stay the night, and Linde carried the sleeping Frisk to bed before falling asleep beside her.

  • After teasing Linde and Frisk, Sans watched them leave and continue along the path until they found a ladder at the edge of a cliff.
  • Linde and Frisk climbed down to a cabin, where an elderly blue bird monster introduced herself as Martlet, a former member of the Royal Guard.
  • Linde asked Martlet about the human she had met decades earlier, and she recounted how Clover traveled through the Dunes and the Abandoned Factory before challenging Asgore.
  • Martlet told Linde and Frisk that Clover had died after learning Asgore had killed five other children, then invited them to spend the night at her home.
  • Frisk fell asleep on the couch, and Linde carried her to the guest room, laid her on the bed, and fell asleep beside her.

Ch. 18I Am the Legendary Fartmaster

After waking from a long dream of Chara's memories, Frisk traveled through Snowdin with Linde, who suspected Chara was attached to her. Linde got Sans's room key through a secret codeword and continued onward with Frisk to the skeleton brothers' puzzle.

  • Frisk woke after sleeping until noon and told Linde about her dream of a little monster resembling Toriel, Toriel, and King Asgore.
  • Linde realized the dream was likely Chara's memories and worried about Chara's dark past and attachment to Frisk.
  • Linde and Frisk said goodbye to Martlet, climbed back to the cliff, and bought ice pops before reaching the snowball puzzle area.
  • Linde sent Frisk to play and privately gave Sans the codeword "I'm the legendary fartmaster," earning Sans's Room Key and placing it in Frisk's inventory.
  • Frisk and Linde continued on and met Sans and Papyrus, who presented them with a word scramble puzzle.

Ch. 19Spaghetti

  • Frisk uncovered the map, found its marked spot, and activated a hidden mechanism that brought Lesser Dog to attack her.
  • Frisk petted Lesser Dog until his neck stretched into the sky, leaving Linde alone as the Dog Couple appeared over him.
  • Frisk found Linde’s note explaining that the Dog Couple had invited him to Grillby’s and that Sans had agreed to help him.

  • Frisk arrived in Snowdin and saw Linde reading a book about the origins of humans' physical bodies.
  • Linde left the library, told the proprietor that Waluigi was Papyrus's nickname, and secretly used Frisk's hand to create a key before returning to his room.
