Lin Ze found Wade at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor after Wade tried to die by jumping into a zoo, and urged his friend to stop hiding his grief over Vanessa behind dirty jokes. Hu Tao told Wade that he might be able to see Vanessa without resorting to death, leaving him stunned and asking what she meant.

• Hu Tao opened the door for Lin Ze and pointed him toward Wade, who was hiding naked behind a sofa.
