As Anya spoke, Bond carried her off to the far end of the street, leaving only her voice echoing behind them:
"Father must be in trouble! Anya's going to bring Father toilet paper!"
Yor hung up the public phone and prepared to chase after Anya.

Not far away in the same city, Twilight walked down the street with Richie, searching for Yor and Anya.
Twilight wanted to leave Richie safely with Yor before getting back to work.
Richie had been reading Twilight's thoughts all along. He knew his dear old father was getting a little anxious to return to work.

"Father, are your psychiatric patients all right? Why don't you go check on them first?
I'll be fine. I can find Mother and my sister on my own."
Richie looked at Twilight with concern, his eyes full of tenderness.
"My patients are important, but you're more important to me. I need to leave you safely with Miss Yor before I go to work."
Twilight spoke so earnestly that Richie couldn't bring himself to go against his wishes.
