Ji Luo comes from a wealthy family and lives with his older sister, Ji Li, in an upscale duplex apartment in the city center. Their parents conduct business overseas year-round. Having completed his college entrance examinations the previous month, he devoted much of his newly available time to gaming 8 29.

Still below eighteen, he used Ji Li’s alternate account to bypass anti-addiction restrictions. His first session of Awakening of the Old Gods consequently displayed her name as his player ID. When the game introduced character customization, he changed the ID to Ji Luo and selected the Ash Apostle class 8 9.

Appearance

• Customized avatar: A youthful, handsome face that appears no older than eighteen, with neat short black hair, sharp brows, bright eyes, and a sunny smile 9.

Personality

Ji Luo is a skill-focused gamer whose calm tactical judgment initially led his teammates to assume he was an experienced player in his thirties. He studies attack patterns, resource costs, and skill limitations rather than relying solely on aggression. His usual approach favors daylight exploration, manageable targets, and enough savings to cover resurrection 9 11 21 23.

His caution does not prevent calculated gambles. He approved the Cave Stalker rematch once the entire party had skills, attacked the incubating Flesh Cocoon to protect their starting area, and sacrificed himself to create an opening against Flesh Fusion. Under pressure, he treats death as a usable resource when revival is guaranteed 24 34 39.

He enjoys teasing his teammates and boasting about his veteran status to Ji Li. He is also fiercely protective of his hard-earned Ash Coins: he initially refused to lend her his gaming pod because a death could cost ten coins. With newcomers, his commercial instincts shifted from selling equipment at a markup to earning a long-term share of their income while helping them level 10 29 30 47.

Resurrection

• His Ash Apostle body turns to ash upon death and can return through the Church’s resurrection system 13.
