After waking from the chaos, Ye Buyu abruptly sat up in bed, her pajamas soaked with sweat. Blurred colors filled her vision, and the world spun as though she had eaten hallucinogenic mushrooms.
She shook her head, blocked out the jumble of images in her mind, then rushed out in her slippers and knocked on Mu Bingge's door.

She flung open her own door, only to see Wan Lan's hand coming down to knock. Caught off guard, she took the knock straight to the head.

Ye Buyu clutched her forehead and looked at Wan Lan aggrievedly. Couldn't she have knocked a little more gently?

Ye Buyu pushed open the corridor window and looked toward the boys' dormitory. Lou Guanshan was standing on a windowsill, and he waved when he saw them.
Then he stepped off without hesitation.
"I'll wait downstairs! See you there!"
The three of them leaned out to look at Lou Guanshan as he jumped from the building.
